Thank you, though I feel like you type this bit out through gritted teeth 😄 But yeah it has been incredibly welcoming here and getting to meet you all quite early on was really good 🙂 It genuinely feels like just a big group of friends (or as you put it Lee a family).

The only big issue with this game was the lag, particularly when more than a few people are on. Have they sorted that out yet?

Haven't got round to playing the demo yet but did watch some of the footage. Bit on the fence with it really and the gameplay just seems to lack flow when compared to the likes of Nier or DMC. I'll definitely wait for reviews for this one.

@Riff Machine as carl said the survival aspect isn't annoying at all, you can choose to not eat anything for hours in the real world and your health will stay at base level, you won't be tired, slow or have any annoying visual/auditory effects it's a very chill game, it doesn't annoy you constantly except for the occasional raid which we can easily counter in our server with our fortress bases and it has a ton to do, resource gathering, exploring, dungeon raiding and mine and carl's favourite building, it's a blast in this game

Is it survival, sure, is it annoying survival? Not at all. Also, since it's an existing server, you can choose to essentially start where we left off for gear and what not or choose to start from beginning. It's so chill and the building mechanics are top notch.

I'm interesting in builds which others are running are you struggling with the limited perk packages? I would certainly like some extras considering we have 10 classes available. I've a couple of classes running default perk packages. I've got an adapted version of the Default Assault Class with an M4, Expedite 12 using the default Assault Perk Package and a Sniper Class which is running the Default Sniper Perk Package Then I've got my 5 custom Perk Packages Double Time, Extra Tactical, Resupply, Quick Fix - This is on my my AR, SMG and LMG Leveling classes these are generally my goto classes most of the time. Battle Hardened, Bomb Squad, Cold Blooded, High Alert - On an Anti Air class which usually consists of an LMG with a Large Mag and Strong Ammunition. Battle Hardened, Tracker, Fast Hands, Quick Fix - Is on my Shotgun Class this is great for Shoothouse and I suspect will be for Shipment too. Strong Arm, Battle Hardened, Resupply, Quick Fix - For an Anti Riot Shield class which usually doesn't have a set gun usually at AR or LMG, but always has an RPG, Tear Gas and a Molotov Battle Hardened, Bomb Squad, Fast Hands and Ghost - This is on a couple of classes which I run with AR's LMG's or SMGs these are my goto classes when I get games with too many UAV's or I want to slow down or try and flank a bit more.

No way was that (another) penalty last night. Peter Walton is also doing my head in with his analysis. The player literally ran into the keeper after scuffing his shot - keeper couldn't get out of the way and the Argentinean player was never going to make the second ball and made no attempt to either. If this is the standard then you could basically kick the ball, run into someone and then claim a free kick. Keeper made a legit attempt to block the shot and actually forced the striker to shoot tamely and off-target. Refs are just getting worse and Walton's interpretations of fouls are nauseating. Him and VAR are forgetting common sense.

I don't bother too much with demos or betas these days as I find they are builds that tend to be quite a few months older than the date they are released. If you consider that's potentially September maybe even August build, that's getting on for 4 - 5 months polish before launch and that can make quite a big difference to the end game. I actually have it on pre-order, even if it's just a glorious looking world and game that would be enough for me because right now my PS5 feels like a glorified PS4...

Battle hardened, bomb squad, resupply, got to leave a trail of claymores and ghost . Unless there's a challenge don't need to change anything out.

I really have to give this a go at some point. It's one of those games that I'm interested in, but also a little turned off by the survivor aspects of it. Maybe I'm just weird. Lol.

The DMZ is absolutely fantastic. Such a great game mode to chill on and i'd say the only downfall is we can't group up with more players on it. The AI is quite hard in places which really adds to the difficulty and the PvE missions just keep making you want to go back in for more stuff. Outside of that, you then can be sidetracked midway through a run because something will happen in a part of the map, which is really great to add to the unpredictability of each try. We had a run the other night with @James5497 and @MrBiron when a Weapon Case got picked up and marked it on the map. We decided to change plans and take the armoured truck we just dropped off for a bounty and it was a race against time. Just got there with the Helicopter down to extract, we ran them over and shot them clean out. Picked up the case, extracted and got 'Caution Tape' Weapon Blueprint! Honestly, when you have 2 or 3 of you and waiting for others to come, this is the gamemode to have a few go's on. So many others enjoy it too here.

To add, its quite refreshing to see (but I do worry about the hidden agenda) that some of the senior reporters that can be so lethal with their words are finally using some more grounded words which make sense: Whats still interesting though is for every one of these well-balanced views, you'll get someone saying 'we haven't beaten anyone of interest still' - just look at the replies to the second one for starters. Yes, lets keep showing the world how arrogant we can be and show disrespect to the teams we've beat in Southgate's era that are now more relevant than other countries that we think are big just because their history.

I think its okay to say sometimes 'that's just football'. The deserving team and better performing one doesn't always win and thats why we love football for its unpredictability. Some of the harsher views will slowly come out of the wardrobe and say get rid of Southgate, time for a fresh change, bottled it again, (Carragher saying should've been braver), etc, but I think any balanced footballing brain can watch that game and say they wouldn't have done much differently. Sometimes your chances go in and sometimes they don't. Didn't make subs until late because the team were playing extremely well and then still gets criticised for making it too late or bringing a player off people think that could've scored 17 more goals in 5 mins left. First goal shouldn't have stood quite clearly and its a wonder goal to boot too. We probably could've had 5-6 pens and i'm not sure how Griezmann stayed on the pitch for the amount of fouls he was making. Can't use them as the final excuses, just facts that will compound our misery. Disappointment is a part of life, but I equally admit that I wish it wasn't this night. That team really was going all the way and just got knocked in a stupidly close game.
