After the massive FG weekend I had the bug to jump back in and start a new character in Euro Truck Sim 2. The trucks in Europe were always cool and neat for me as I like the cabover design, even the ones in the States. So Since you can't have an official massive company in the game, as in we are all helping to add to the bank account of one company, I decided to make this thread about just that. Not gonna lie, really not up for this. Just doesn't feel right having it this time of the year especially in such a football-unknown country. Feels more of an inconvenience if anything. I also didn't realise England were even playing tomorrow🤣 Watched a bit of the opening game and it was pretty flat. Quite a few empty seats in the ground too. Not a great spectacle really.

England's World Cup shirts cost £115 and are made in a Thai sweatshops where workers receive £1 an hour. Meanwhile England players receive around £1m a month in just basic wages alone through their clubs. Too bad we don't protest this along with all the other major sportswear brands adopting virtually modern slavery to produce their inflated goods. It was hilarious when the likes of Nike jumped on the BLM bandwagon in 2020 despite having several African sweatshops running with workers on 15p a hour to this very day. I think the England game is on BBC 1 which is not gonna be good especially if Lineker is fronting it. Apparently he was an oppressed black child growing up

The last world cup was in a country that has a law whereby domestic violence is legalised, and didn't see many people protesting that one. In a world of lies and hypocrisy this is just another example, and the mental gymnastics I see some people perform is incredible. Nothing new though. The corruptness of FIFA merely matches that of world governments and corporations. Anyway, enough of my soap box. Football-wise, this is not time of year for the competition and it's totally bizarre. Still, hope the Spurs players have a good one and come back fit 😁

I'm glad I'm not into football these days but having watched FIFA uncovered i can only hope it falls on its ass. At least there's no premier League games for a while that block the roads near work it will be bad enough with late night shopping fools 🤣

Ha nice one 🙂 I was talking with @Bluebear about ETS2 in Wales as I was playing it on the Steamdeck. I'm a bit addicted again so yeah I'm up for some multiplayer. I should really get my wheel out too but I had issues a couple of years ago getting the pedals to register on the G29. Will try again now I'm back on the road 🙂

Finished off the Hurricane, so that’s four SMGs done. Started on the minibak and am not reeling that gun at all.

All depends on how you want to play it. It excels at close to medium range. The recoil is a little bouncy. I would build it for ADS speed, sprint to fire speed and recoil control.

I really would, but so far haven't found any easy way to use the pedals without a lot of faffing around. The computer tables layout and size make it hard sadly. I'll look at it again to see if I can find something workable.

In short, yeah it feels weird and not overall happy thats in Qatar, but we've known that for 12 years and not done anything about it. People that can make and change decisions need to just do better in that category. As soon as England kicked off today it started to feel like it was here though now, albeit at Christmas. Great performance to start. Weird penalty at the end. I hope they come out and say it shouldn't have been given as that could ruin the entire tournament with penalties galore. Would love to see Bellingham be the Player of the Tournament. Looking forward to seeing how Wales get on tonight.

Finished VEL-46 SMG last night. Got a little sporadic and started other ARs whilst i had the last few 3 kills without dying challenge. I'm not far off Khastov 545, still need hipfires with it first. Mainly so I can then use the Khastov 74U. @TigerBurge , got the STB going. Pretty decent although not as quick as the original Khastov. Had a few epic moments with it though already. Any attachment suggestions for it?

A new game mode coming to celebrate the World Cup. Apparently like a Rocket League style mode for COD. Modern Warfare 2 is getting a Rocket League-style mode WWW.GAMINGBIBLE.CO.UK What a wheely good idea.

England 6-2 Iran Good start and some great individual performances as well as a whole for the team. Been a long time since I've seen England deliver this well after the Nations League disaster. Bellingham has been incredibly consistent for club and country plus we have some solid depth and the starting line-up was a solid choice.

That Trucks book looks quite good to be able to set up an FG conglomerate. Had a play at lunch time and got VR set up and working. I only drove around the block but works well and it's far easier driving through much harder when needing to use the keyboard for a shortcut. I also have to use a beta version so potentially would mess up if we want an online session but will have to test that when we're all online.

Btw ETS2 is on Steam sale right now. 4 quid.

I've managed to set the G29 up now, pedals working a treat. I'm using paddles rather than the shifter but I'll move onto that at some point too. Loving cruise control by the way😁

I know that. I am said "give streaks that are only available by playing the objective". In otherwords kills and assists and other points don't count. The only way to get the streak is to cap or pickup tags for example.

I faced a full team using decoy grenades on Taraq - it was pure hell. I'd also drop objective mode kill points to 10xp and upping objective points instead. I play Hardpoint and have 2+ minutes on the objective with 7500-odd points and then the next best player has about 13 seconds going 30-27. I also played against a poor guy with 17 DOM captures on Shoothouse yesterday and the other players between one and two. I just don't get how players can play 10 minutes in a match and not even stumble into the objective by accident. Just change killstreaks to scorestreaks for objective modes

You can also get a free persistent walkhack with a spotter scope too - not gonna mention how to do it but it kinda beggars belief how things like this slip through the net on such a major franchise. Warzone 2 is really unstable right now so I'm leaving it for the time being.

Use the Sentry gun. At the right spot it seems the most lethal. As for PTFO I agree. I would like them to increase the score in the scorestreak. Cap 1 flag, 100, 2 150, 3 200, 4 250 or something like that. Or give streaks that are only available by playing the ojective The border map is what better than fortress or Asylum in my opinion. Fighting for B flag can get pretty intense on DOM

So then, things I'd change. Get rid of the decoy grenades, or at least prevent team mates from hearing them. Also get rid of the stupid blow up doll too. Killstreaks feel weak as fuck, I see chopper gunners rarely get more than 5 kills, and the Harrier is also piss. The heli isn't that bad but the constantly spotting thing is irritating. Fix the perks, this bullshit of having my class gimped until halfway through the game is frustrating as fuck. I'm levelling a launcher and not having fast hands / overclock until later on is bloody irritating. Force players to play the objective. I'd say that 90% of my losses in Dom are due to dumb fuck team mates who never PTFO. Maybe give them a luminous pink camo and make them blip on the map constantly like a UAV. This absolutely drives me mental. The border crossing map is crap, get rid of it. You also can't shoot the civilians that are running away either which is disappointing, but then I'd also be running and screaming if someone pulled up in a fucking Ford Escort.

It could be quite decent if they don't restrict it heavily with microtransactions. If some are free and you can grind certain challenges to unlock them then good. Would be cool if you could "create" or design your own.
