Happy 80s Pop Friday everyone 😎😅

Was my favourite growing up and I still have many of the games (albeit caseless) from my younger years. Back then I was very much a JRPG only fan (multiplayer online had not turned up yet and I was a bit of a loner in my younger years, really did not like people, to be fair I still don't 😄 ) But just thought I would share a couple of the games in my PS1 collection -

Tony Hawk's? Nice! Was always interested in having a go on this revamped version to see if I can actually pull off some shapes on a skateboard. Little Nightmares is a very decent side scroller. My boy has both games and I got hooked watching him trying to get through levels. Definitely a worthy addition to the back catalogue.

I can't say I'm sad. This is another one that didn't need a remake in my opinion.

My all time favourite soundtrack from a retro game. The classic Toejam & Earl absolutely killer funky jammin! What's yours?

The dub fx guy has been going round for a few years now and has gotten some very good artists to work with him, he must have a great time doing what he does. Now for some Eek a mouse in his youthful glory: No wicked cannot reign 😉

Tony Hawks is a good shout. Was interested in it, but didn't want to buy it. Awesome that it's free, looking forward to it. 😀

I haven't played Crash from the last one yet 😄 Tony Hawk' I will give a go just because nostalgia, Yakuza is a brilliant game so would highly recommend 🙂 Little nightmares I could not get into when I tried previously and with such a backlog already will probably give it a miss ^_^

For me it's slightly more recent with the PS1 era of Final Fantasy, I often listen to the soundtracks whilst I am working (especially if it's an overly stressful or busy day) as most of it is quite relaxing 😄 Would love to see one of the orchestra events they put on every now and again.

I always found CRT to be the best display choice for retro console gaming. The newer TVs now a days really show off the flaws of sprite based graphics. I do like how some classic game compilations give the option to use an old school CRT type scaling.

Oh dear, another one bites the dust Knights of the Old Republic remake is 'delayed indefinitely,' according to report | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM It sounds like there's trouble at developer Aspyr Media. Just had to double check it wasn't a Ubisoft game for a second😂

That's a great deal but just make sure you'll play the game. I have bought too many bundles cheaply (including the last one of Cities Skyline), and hardly even touched it. So good price in general but only if you have intentions to invest time.

Autumn sale now on. I refuse to be seduced. I did just purchase Steam Link though as it's also on sale. I've not played Witcher 3 from the last sale so definitely not buying any more games this season.
