Platinum games announced a release date finally of October 28th, 2022 for this one. I'm not sure if anyone has had any experience with this franchise, but it's a pretty good devil may cry-ish style of a game series. I'll end up getting it, but I feel this series is going to really suffer being a Nintendo exclusive. Shame really. Hopefully, one day, this series can reach other platforms for all to enjoy.

okay, i tried to watch this shit yesterday and i closed it 30 minutes into the first episode, it was THAT bad hell it makes the milla jovovich resident evil movies seem cinematic masterpieces that were snubbed at the oscars omg was lance reddick wasted on this, the writing is atrocious no wonder netflix is in recession with the garbage they keep throwing money at

Need to find time to read this but haven't really got that time yet. I think this is definitely interesting though considering how many reports show things more in a negative way than a positive way. Nice to see some positivity surrounding video games in the media.

Yeah he is superb, a friend from work showed me him some years ago. He never seems to disappoint. The variety is great as well. Dude is a badass.

It's still absolutely shocking and disgusting even by their standards. I think what sickens me the most is the fact he was with her mother for 18 years, and was in the house living with them and since the girl was 4 years old. He watched her grow up all that time, then years later had 2 kids with her. 40 years her senior. 🤢 It disgusts me hugely and I've got a strong stomach and a wicked sense of humour, and I'm Scottish.

I totally agree 100% It's almost like a music box, it has that kinda sound. It will never be able to add the colours and character and emotion a human can. I mean try comparing it to something like this. It could never play it for numerous reasons.

I've been playing this a lot lately. It's a 2d/2.5d hack and slash side scroller with some lite RPG elements. It's pretty cool visually. The way the developer used the 2.5d to give it almost a pixelated 3d view for some map navigation within the towns. The sprites are well done and animate quite well. I did hate the constant pause after some dialogue cut scenes that seemed to drag to the point I thought my game had froze. The story is very cyber punkish but not as dark as cyberpunk 2077. It's got a more anime vibe both aesthetically and visually. You play as a woman working for an investigation agency that gets dragged into a weird conspiracy to destroy the world. Typical anime story. I was enjoying it quite a fair bit as I said. The encounters were balanced and never seemed to crazy... Until the end. Literally, the second last "encounter" of the game is the biggest pile of dog shit and jacks the difficulty up to insane levels. You're tasked with protecting someone within a shield, but are bombarded by the most powerful enemies in the game as well as assorted drones that explode near the shield. So, with that said, trying to deal with all of this at the same time is rather hectic and the final wave is damn near impossible due to the amount of enemies you have to face. That alone turned me right off the game. I shut it down, deleted it and will not go back. For a game that was so balanced and decent throughout, completely unbalancing the second last encounter is the most dumb fuck, dipshit, stupid ass design decision to ruin what would other wise be a good game. If it wasn't so cheap at the time, I never would have played this and while most of my time was decent with it, the end ruins the experience.
