    The 80s...

Ah the 80's my teenage years, zx spectrums, the last decent decade of popular music, sport was good and full of characters, I passed my driving test and went straight from school into an apprenticeship at the place I still work at. I went to see Madonna at roundhey park which is still the only gig I've ever been to๐Ÿ˜‚. Great times made better by the fact back then it was just dumb fun and I couldn't give a shit about any political crap. Recently impulse bought this....

    Hi.

Hi, A few people have suggested I make an introduction thread so here goes. Iโ€™m 29 year old dude from UK who is into video games, getting drunk, watching movies, watching TV shows, smoking, vaping and using the internet. Since this is a video game forum, I will name a few genres I like. I like shooter, arcade, beat em up, fighting and platformer games. Iโ€™m into all consoles but mainly play PlayStation consoles. You can call me Brett, BrettyBoy or Bretty, whichever works for you. โœ…

    Hi.

Thanks, man and I play a variety of games to be honest. I mainly play single player but I do play multiplayer sometimes too. Dead By Daylight is one multiplayer game I like playing and speaking of that, my PlayStation Plus subscription expired over a month ago so Iโ€™m going to have to get that back at some point.

  7. I hear the No Pixel multiplayer mod is very well done, I'm surprised they've not taken that down too.

    Skull and Bones

Ubisoft released some updates and footage on this game. Not impressed. I can't even be bothered to share a video ๐Ÿ˜

  10. Yes, that's why I said "when it becomes retro" with the word "when" suggesting it hasn't happened yet. Keyboard fights are easy๐Ÿ˜…

  12. A Nintendo DS is defo retro - they're 18 years old now!! I notice thats one of the very few crossovers Pokemon did so should be a good one I hope. Command & Conquer is one of those games I wish they would resurrect. Played many a game of that linked up with two PS1s. Retaliation is the one that we played. Ridiclous amount of fun, especially with Tesla Towers ๐Ÿ˜Ž Great finds mate.

  13. Gameplay trailer revealed yesterday Looking at it, I couldn't get a huge feel for how it will look and play. We don't know how the gunplay will 100% feel until we see a more detailed gameplay and UI/HUD. The story parts is looking good so far, and the voiceover for Robocop is quality. Still probably a bit to go until we can see if we're looking forward to a must-buy me thinks.

  14. Chad has been grabbing these whenever they come out and devours them. Such a nerd. Our Christmas book exchange this year was Nevernight by Jay Kristoff for me and Chad got Leviathan Wakes by James S.A. Corey (first book in The Expance series). I guess I picked well because he read it in four days and I had to pick up the second book for him from the book store around the corner from work. I've been enjoying Nevernight as well, but had to put it aside for a couple weeks because I had four library holds come available at the same time. So far this year Iโ€™ve finished Girly Drinks by Mallory O'Meara (world history of alcohol and the women involved in it), Unraveling Canada by Sylvia Olsen (knitting tour across Canada memoir), and You Feel it Just Below the Ribs by Jeffery Crannor (audiobook), Ararat by Christopher Golden, and on Friday I finished Nevernight. Now on to book two of the trilogy.

  15. I'm currently about 30% of the way through book four of The Expanse series. I enjoy the books focus on political maneuvering and social politics the further in the series you go along. Plus the authors have been great at catching me off guard with some things that have made me involuntarily gasp out loud. It doesn't happen too often.

  16. I've been mostly reading D&D source and campaign books. I'm about half way through Dungeon of The Mad Mage (Which @Rumelylady streams on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm EST) Adventure book and I just bought the Sword Coast guide. I'll probably tackle that or get back on my novel fix. I really want to start the next John Gwynne series "Of Blood & Bone" soon. Really loved the first series and this picks up long after that.
