  1. Does feel huge and i love space combined with the building elements. Remains to be seen if this is likely to slip into 2024 though as its so big I wouldn't be surprised. Maybe by then I'd have bought the latest Xbox. It does look like it serve well on PC more so though, esepcially the chop and change custom building elements. Good points. I think in a game its fair to expect some planets will be of a similar ilk, but thats okay. Just depends on how much unique and varied waypoints or key points of interest each one will have that is different. The challenge is definitely to make it feel different to No Mans Sky as it needs to stand out on its own rather than just more of NMS as you may as well invest time into that instead.

  4. Not really @Riff Machine . Whilst I usually like the look of any football game, I'm not sure I'll get my money's worth out of it. It looks way more exciting with friends and I don't think we play much online Switch here atm.

  5. Its a bit late now, as I've missed most of it but I think GTFO has a free weekend until today but unsure if thats related to this or not? Either way, I know its a game we've watched its progress for a long time now. Hope its worthwhile.

  7. Happy Father's Day for yesterday all! It was my wife's birthday yesterday too, so I made sure it was about her more so having a break myself! Although it was still a chilled day which was nice. I even got a Blackburn Rovers training t-shirt and shorts which was a bonus that I wasn't expecting 😄 @Spacedeck , I'm hoping she feels better today pal, its horrible when your child is poorly as there's not much any of us can do, other than get to the qualified people to help, which you are.❤️

  8. Yeah i find its hard with the verticality of a 2D side-scroller that the challenge is how do you make connection sometimes. I think because its TMNT though and not some fully fledged uber competitive game, I don't focus on it too much. The story seems like its a pretty chilled experience, although haven't tried it on higher difficulties yet. And @Antpool84 , Chad is bang on. Its EXACTLY what you would want from it, and a little extra imo.

  10. My only gripe is basically the same gripe with the classic games as well as side-scrolling beat 'em ups in general... The hit boxes are always all over the place. There's been a few times where I've been well above an enemy on screen but some how get hit by it when it performs an attack. It really makes no sense when you're on a platform above or below and get it by an enemy on the opposite area. It's led to a few F-bombs drop from me.

  15. This has been called the "spiritual successor" to Dead Space. The lead was the individual that created that IP and has since moved on to create this studio and IP. Should be something to look to for anyone that was a fan of that series.

  16. Anyone pick this up? I've heard mixed things about it, but It is a Nintendo Mario sports game, so the typical nuttiness is expected. The golf and Tennis games are decent, curious how soccer/football translates.

  17. Hey guys just a couple of things to run through, I have included a map of proposed redzones, all redzones are PvP KoS areas, this includes Heli crash sites. The rest of the map will be PvE so everyone gets to play the way they wish to play. The game doesn't tell you if you enter a PvP zone so if you see a tent or a barrack. . . . . . Smile for the scoped in hunter!!!!! If people are happy to go ahead with this please let us know with a thumbs up. Any suggestions or questions please chime in. Stay safe and keep looting!!!

  21. I did and it's fun. There's 6 cups in total, once you complete them all, they just reset at a harder difficulty. Playing online is probably the biggest draw back, there's 4v4 but only if using 4 switches and each switch has 2 players playing per switch. 4v4 with randoms is something they really need to add. There's the creation of a team but I think this is somewhat limited, I jut haven't joined a club to try it out yet. You can't select no team and have the CPU vs CPU which is something I'd have liked to watch. Overall very fun, great gameplay but some areas are lacking and could use some improvement.

    Street Fighter 6

As more details come out for SF6, there are more promising signs it is very well supported. The character designs are a step above previous games and there are extra little snippets that hopefully will add more to the franchise. Heres a bit more reveal from a few weeks ago: The duo battles look great too. I've also seen how signature moves can hit extra damage if you nail the perfection on them. Guile's reveal trailer came out too below. Would love to get a proper fighting stick and try it out. Its clearly muscle memory and speed that help the most so I'd be crap at it overall, but it would be fun to learn some of the moves on this because as I kid I always wanted to perform everyones special moves on Street Fighter 2 Tournament Edition. Anyone else interested in future beat em ups like this one?

    F1 2022

I can see why they went down this route as they should try and add additional content where possible, even though F1 cars is very niche. I think its more of a missed trick though not trying to get F2, F3 and Electric F1 in here because that is their bag and wouldn't much from what they already have in the game.

  25. I hope you all had a great day! Did you get a break or spend the day with your kids? What did you get up to? I received a lovely home made card but have spent the day being a Dad. Cleaning the room, vaccing, countless washing, caring for my youngest daughter who's got sickness and runny poos... fun day. Looks like it's a call to the Doctors in the morning as she just isn't improving. Anyway, hope you all had a great day (not just Dad's!).

  35. they require regular maintenance, like you could get away for 5 years without a service on your boiler, you do that with a heat pump and it needs replacing. @Plumbers Crack a heat network is designed with a hot water buffer vessel so the idea is you need to keep that at 70 degrees (it can be lower and then a hiu would top up the difference where required for hot water ising electricity) and there is a diversity calculation to determine the amount of heat energy you need to put into keeping the buffer vessel at that temperature depending on the number of apartments / spaces that require heating. The radiators are then sized on the anticipated flow and return temperature's so if it is designed from the off based on utilising ground source it wouldnt be an issue (though admittedly it isnt always the case). We haven't done it yet but 5th gen heat networks do utilise ground source heat pumps. It’s clever stuff when done correctly but I don't think a lot of them are being done based on ground source (you wont get a buffer vessel to stay at 70 with just ground source, it would need an additional heat source such as biomass boilers or hydrogen which most modern boilers that we install are capable of with only minor changes internally). But that goes back to my original comment that I am not sure the industry is set on one single direction currently.

  37. And after last night us trying the multiplayer story mode, that was pretty spot on! And why we loved it so much. No overthinking, just some good old, in the moment gaming fun. The music is absolutely superb and the revive system has been implemented fantastically. Something you would never expect to see in a revamped game like this.

  38. Going this way will I think work, for a while. The industry as a whole is entering the digital/cloud space so I expect a huge boom before the next gaming crash. It kind of saturates the field and then I feel gaming development could become lazy as things will be limited in a way to meet the capacity of what these TVs can deliver. I do want to be more positive about it all, just trying to see what the benefit is. We must evolve the times rather than reject change, but it does start to feel like we already on the course to a huge saturation of DDD rental gaming.

  39. We had heat pumps at one of my last buildings, the place didn't even have a gas meter, it was quite fascinating tbh. They're a lot more potent than people think, although I'm not entirely sold on the reliability yet.

    Starfield Gameplay

Been having a look around at the general reception and it actually seems a bit of a mixed bag. I'm certainly taking the visuals with a pinch of salt but the game looks pretty decent for such an old engine. The biggest all-round worry seems to be the outdated combat - the demo doesn't even demonstrate ADS which is strange. I know they usually get PR clowns to show games off but it be weird if they did this without the person ever aiming down the sights. The scavenging/crafting seems very much like No Mans Sky but doesn't look all that interesting. The big thing will be the planets - although there's supposed to be 1,000, the general expectation is there being about 10 which are handcrafted with others either being generated or are just simple resource dumps. I'm really not sure if I've seen enough ambition or innovation so far that would make this a standout current-gen title. The RPG and Story aspects will have to be on far with Fallout becuase I don't think a No Mans Sky collect-a-thon with generated planets will really impress all that much.

  47. Yaaaaas. If this is just for the rules I'd also suggest no building in military zones, (red zone if fine but not in the middle of the friggin airfield) as it will result in a lot of complaining. Destroy crashed vehicles to make them respawn, don't just leave them there in the street. No hoarding of vehicles. Max 1 truck and 1-2 cars per group would be my suggestion. No using of canopy tents as they WILL make the server lag like absolute fuck. Those would be my suggestions.

    Starfield Gameplay

I thought it looked quite good, I am playing Fallout 76 on the xbox with my brothers at the moment and though it's janky as hell it's quite a fun game. This looks the same but set in space and provided they can keep the bugs to a minimum (though it is Bethesda) it could turn out quite good fun. It looks quite pretty and I love the concept being a Mass effect fan. Fingers crossed it will turn out good, I noted that there still wasn't a launch date though so technically it could be next christmas (2023) yet.

    The Last Faith

This looks like a game right up my alley. Visually, It looks very similar to Blasphemous (Released last year) and gameplay is akin to the typical metroidvania/souls-like trend as of late. Release date is listed as 2022 so here's hoping sometime soon. For me at least.

    F1 2022

F1 2021 is honestly a great buy but more so because it was far cheaper than a AAA price. I'm more so looking forward to trying out F1 2022 Manager than this as they'll be enough legs in 21 to get my racing fix for a while.
