No changes in trophies as this Super Sunday and Monday Night Football ended in maintaining our Division 3 status after we lost Division 2 on Monday last week pretty swiftly. We started the night on a completely different formation, with Jordie suggesting the 3-5-2, so attacking wing backs, with more forwards to plough ahead. For at least 3 games, this really worked well, scoring quite a few goals and being camped in their area. Once we had to shuffle the pack so we all got chance to play in different positions it was then we started to struggle. Just goes to show how hard defence is really. I also had a shocker at LCB, I think its pushed me into at least trying a bigger build next time out if I have to cover a centre-back position. Mulletov @G_dub52 was having a cracker of a night with his bangers up top and some of his killer passes were coming off this week. Slide Tickler @Ajay also had a solid start with a goal and a few assists, and for the most part in defence, managed to get stuck in and block far more goals to stop us losing by even more. Near the end of the night we stopped the rot as we switched back to 4-3-3 we a re more accustomed to. As soon as ConnorChameleon @JamaicanSteve tocuhed the ball up top, goals followed - with him finishing with the solotairy hattrick of the night. We left the night where we started - a few wins needed in the last 4 games to maintain our Division 3 status. In fairness, we wouldn't have won the first 2-3 games without you at the back imo. Unfortunately, we always conceded a goal in those games and I recall they kept moving the keeper on the corners. We noticed on Super Sunday the amount of corners we had and that fact we missed you not being in the middle to score your specials 🤣

Last weekend was a tail of 2 nights. Super Sunday we went on a winning spree, eventually finishing with a Division 3 title for most that were on and scoring 32 goals, most notably James bagging 10 of them, whilst Jordie secured 10 assists. Didn't help the nerves when Kane felt a bit ill a few days ago — I was sure it was going to be food poisoning 😂 Great last few games though, I really thought for a second Liverpool were going to clinch it, but in typical Man City fashion they came back and thrashed them. Congratulations for Son and Salah being top goal scorers. Son doing so without a single pen which I though was impressive, but of course impressive for both. And Ronaldo coming 3rd which @tronic44 pointed out in the WhatsApp is an amazing achievement with Man United.

No-one can replicate Tarkov, I pity the fools who would try. Although there's a good DayZ mod of it tbf 😁 I'd love it if we got a few people on BF2042, I do jump on occasionally...

Further development on Hazard Zone has ceased - as to be one of the worst mode implementations ever! It was leaked back around December that the game mode was deemed internally 'dead' with only a handful of players, less than one hour of retention and the few that played it only trying it once. So much for BF's attempt at Tarkov filler.

Bit disappointed I've only got 1 goal to show for all of those new appearances since last time. I guess unless you get a clean sheet you don't get much for being in defence all night.

So, a few things to mull over. 1. Server name 2. Mods to install 3. Public access or whitelist? The server name should be easy, FG something or other. Main mod to start with is probably the Expansion mod, it has a tonne of features, including traders but I'll see whether it's base building is good or if I need to install a better one on top of that. I'll see if I can find a good link to what's decent. We can also look at other maps further down the line. The server is open to random players but I'll look to put a message on saying that Kill On Sight (KOS) is not allowed and kickable... ...although FGers can kill randomers to their heart's content if they so please. That's me sorted 😉 Any other thoughts stick them below.

Indeed, I wasn't being serious, and if we have kos then it's for everyone. We should discuss though whether there is a rule that there has to be something to initiate any killing, such as being robbed...or could leave it classic DayZ and you can be shot and killed any time without warning. Which I prefer. I will likely advertise the server on the DayZ forums, although that doesn't necessarily mean anyone will join...

I'd appreciate it if we have the full name of Forever Gaming on it. We could think of a few cool names and put up a poll maybe? I'm easy. I'll take a look at the mods today and put up my thoughts. Straight off the bat which would be awesome and a must have based on our last one would be: Auto Run Map with live GPS location Loot Crates Aircraft and more Cars If we want to kill on sight then I can only suggest randomers can do the same too. I think if we make it more of a buzz, we'll get more people on it for sure. We could ask at least them to do an intro here so we know who they are as well.

Insane day of football and although it finished as expected, the way it played out was pretty insane. Gerrard blows it again for LIverpool, this time as a manager🤣 Relieved Spurs got 4th and all those nerves this week were pretty much not warranted in the end - I was dreading a 1-0 defeat for some reason. Leeds probably did deserve to stay up despite a woeful season because the FA made them play many games with covid absences yet Arsenal had one case and they got the Spurs game postponed - something they really regretted as they had a weaker team available come the rearranged fixture!

Ah you've not hears of 'lasagne gate' 😁 A number of years ago, matmybe 10, I forget, Spurs went into the last game of the season only needing to get a result against a crap Wet Spam, for CL qualification. Unfortunately they decided to stay the night in a hotel pre-match and most of the team ended up with the shits. They blamed a dodgy lasagne. Lost the game of course and the Arse went to CL at our expense. Edit: just checked, it was 2006 How times have changed 🤗

CoD will always have a big pool of players, so it would be nice for them to experiment with: Casual Core - CBMM Casual Hardcore - CBMM Competitive Core - SBMM Competitive Hardcore - SBMM On a game that still gets bought by the millions, splitting the pools like would get the desired effect. I don't want to be stomped all the time and would rather see how well I can do, but I also understand when we just wanna have a laugh and kick back in some random casual modes where games can be all over the place. Overwatch has it, Rainbow 6 has it, I don't see why they wouldn't do the same here. P.S. Obviously SBMM in those modes above could have some element of connnection based checks so you aren't playing a random thats on a ridiculously opposite ping to everyone else perhaps.
