Right, firstly, great thread to start a discussion Justin @FallenDark200 . I appreciate people are starting to creep out of the woodwork and be more visible for the overall cause. I can't ever get enough of that. The concept is great, the mechanics is a little different in how it would work. I looked into a Points system before which had many integrations, and it can work but its complexity can also cause errors and not really work in how want to. Rather than look at the solution, what we're trying to achieve here is essentially a perk that gives back to FGers that help out in special ways e.g. donating to the FGFGF and overall cause. Based on that and what we can pull out on here, is a way to create a specific group from when either people donate. I can also link that to a membership style element that could be easier for people so its already set up rather than having to chip in as and when. However, you also have to consider people for the last few years have donated just off the back of their goodness and when its financially right for them to do so. That choice should never be taken away. I look at this as a great addition and incentive to help people that already donate get potentially something back and encourage others to chip in and 'share the load' as we sometimes say over here. I started drafting membership style things anyway so people can gain more from this place over time, and hopefully that alongside Achievements will be great ways for people to have fun here and help many other FGers in the process - because thats what the end goal should be about.

So friends, @RenFengge and I have a our own server humming along that is currently running Valheim. We were chatting today and thought that it might be good to have a truly new experimental server for 7 days and keep the current one on 20.0 Stable. One reason for this would be all the hard work that the team has already put into the 20.0 build would probably have to be wasted if we upgrade to the latest. The experimental beta server could have some neat builds as well but knowing we might have to nuke it at some point. We know it can be a pain in the ass to have two servers but wanted to throw it out there. We think repurposing our second Valheim server to 7 days could be fun. Just took the video out of the update @Greboth for ease of watching purposes. Also, i've grabbed most of the stills from the Playstation State of Play release to give a flavour of what is going. Definitely hyped now for this! Going back to its roots whilst keeping the theme of GT Sport which i think was delivered well.

Shite attitude and got schooled my Morecambe to end his Spurs career. We'll be lucky to get £12m back if Lyon opt to buy Regulion - way better than Danny Rose no doubt and often let down by shite that's around him Royale - not convinced by him but he hasn't done too much wrong. Cannot see him developing into the type of player required for high-end football though Gil - has not settled in at all and will probably not return. Done absolutely nothing and couldn't even handle sub-par football teams in fringe competitions let alone the Prem Bergwijn - has potential but not exactly set the world alight so far. Hopefully he can build on the Leicester game but then again, he may go 5 more without even having a shot Rodon - bit-part player. Will feature against Football League teams and fringe European sides but will likely never force his way into the first team. Couldn't even do that when Spurs were at their worst. Thank god for Moura, Son and Kane - if it wasn't for them then Spurs would probably have one of the messiest and poorly composed squads in the entire league. Even having Lloris there despite some iffy spells, certainly keeps some identity of the club from better times. A total overhaul is needed and this may take 3-5 years and a ridiculous amount of money.

What's good all? It's Suberbowl month, which means there's no better time to get the ball (egg) rolling for... FG's Madden 22 Connected Franchise! For those not aware, Madden enables users to play a conected franchise mode, which allows us to all play the equivalent of career mode together, each controlling a team! For now, I'm just trying to gauge interest, but some general points to consider/discuss: This will be played on the PS4 version of Madden 22, to ensure all can play. There are 32 available teams to choose from, those not controlled by a player will be controlled by the AI. We need to commit to a number of games we are happy to play each real-life week. A dedicated day to get our games played could be a good idea? If anyone doesn’t play their games, they will be simulated to ensure we don’t stall the progress of the league. The league will start with a Fantasy Draft, to ensure as even teams as possible. I’m still looking into the recommended settings for the games (quarter-length, difficulty etc), but wanted to start gauging interest early. I’ve never ran one of these myself, so am open to any suggestions to make things run as smoothly as possible! For now, please just comment below if this is something you are interested in, and we can start to form a more concrete plan! GGFG

I'd say a full on 2v2 crucible tournament, double elimination, could be sick. With 8 teams it could be so fun, especially if someone goes in to spectate and streams them all. Obviously people have jobs and what not, so it could take a while to accurately schedule it all. But if people commit to making time for it, I can see us getting it done over a weekend or two. We can even have it be a bit silly with weapon restrictions or something like that.

I think most of us are pretty new to it, I wouldn’t be expecting a high level of Madden play 😂

Yeah, I wonder if that’s how it was originally planned. With the seasons running concurrently, maybe something like Boba on a Wednesday and Mando on a Thursday? I guess we’ll see how much Boba is the coming Mando season.

Ok some may know I play to much destiny and I left the d2 clan a month ago wasn't the place for me and I'm home again. I was chatting with @GazzaGarrattand @Teenwolf25 last night about some ideas. Let me start of by saying i know we didnt have a FG Christmas this year and that kinda sucks. So I was thinking maybe we could do monthly raffles for the UK guys and a raffle for the Westerners. I'm not sure what kind of giveaways or raffles we could do since most of us play on different systems and live all over the place but I'd like to get something setup. @GazzaGarrattis currently in the process of doing achievements and medals for certain games and attributes for the community and maybe we can set goals to actually win more raffle points or something along those lines like more entries. Now for what I had for an idea of raffles and giveaways would be anything from gift cards to maybe even merch. Going into the merch idea as well I know @GazzaGarrattmyself and @Teenwolf25 were discussing things in the pipe line because right now its just Lee trying to get things sorted but if we could get everyone a piece of merch would be brilliant. I know how much Lee likes to give back. Now to go into the part no one likes the money backing behind it. Now I know not everyone can afford to donate which is totally fine but if we could get everyone to donate a dollar each month to the FG raffles and giveaways that would be insane how much we could grow and expand it. I'm going to try to be more proactive on the website since I actually sat down on the site for the first time on my pc last night. Also one last thing I'd like to add the three of us also discussed tournaments last night and I think it would be a brilliant idea to even hold raffled tournaments each month but we have to get everyone involved and I understand why Lee does. True I understand the complexity behind it. I know the mule work would be a pain and a half to get it off the ground but your one guy. I totally agree with you and clive on the kindness thing and donating. I don't want it to come off as people have to do this, but as a group a family and a community the growth behind this could be huge if it takes off. I know im only one person who might not make a difference but to see it be possible for everyone to be in a tight nit circle doing things even more together monthly or quarterly in the beginning would be awesome. Just trying to get ideas out there that would be a good cause to make the circle bigger and closer and make people keep coming back and maybe to indever to meeting new people and playing other games myself included. Surely it's a idea but I could be wrong might not be situational for some. If we could just have a huge outcome would be mental. I know what it felt like to receive my Hoodie a year ago from fg and still wear it today proudly. Just trying to get options out there to make FG even more fun exciting and to have those real in life things to hold onto be like yeah look at this.

I think quarterly will work better at the start. Will have more breathing space inbetween and spaced out funding. If the generosity allows then it can be sooner but it needs to start off spaced I think. Personally.

It was fantastic seeing Cad Bane slowly walk in to town :D It’s a weird series though to comment on due to the last couple of episodes. Don’t get me wrong I’ve enjoyed them but they’ve really been Mandalorian episodes in the midde of the Boba story.
