OH.....MY.....GOD!!! Sony have just blown my mind with the showcase tonight!!! A few new IPs that i will definifely be picking up in the form of EVE and Ghostwire. Being a Borderlands fan I can't wait for Tiny Tinas Wonderland which looks amazing!! For those of you who are big GT fans the new one looks incredible!! They are really making the most of the new ps5 hardware. But the biggies for me were the reveal of God of War Ragnarok gameplay, which looks awesome!, and the reveal Insomniac releasing SPIDERMAN 2 AND WOLVERINE!!!! When they were revealed my jaw literally dropped!! I loved the first Spiderman game (still yet to play Mikes Morales) and can't wait for the sequel, and it will be intersting to see what they do with Wolverine. Definitely glad i got a PS5 now...so many awesome games to look forward to 😁😁😁

My son has completed the last one 3 times recently and I have to say, when he asks me watch the game is absolutely astounding. Not just the gameplay but the cutscenes and how they integrate some of them with gameplay is incredible. If its more of the same then there should be no problem with that given the variety of things that you do with Kratos and the 'Boy'. Also, they released a picture of Thor and I think he looks quality and true to how a god should look like! This should be well worth the wait.

Pretty sure they just went "what's the most irritating music we can put on our trailer?" and used that. What a fucking awful racket that is. Still, can't wait and I'm sure @Kurt will be there too. I'm very much a case of believe-it-when-I-see-it though, I've learned that release dates mean fuck all.

Looks amazing - just like the original, it will look as good as it does in the trailers.

Couldn’t give a shit about the landscape stuff but does look great and I can see people that are really into that side doing some pretty impressive pieces. I’m not a massive fan of too many concept cars, and I really hope they don’t focus on this too much as I do enjoy a wide range of “normal actual” cars, but I do like the look of some of the old school stuff like the merc clr-gtr’s. The racing gameplay was a bit disappointing and despite all these advances in graphical power, it really doesn’t look too different from GT Sport. I was expecting a step up in graphical “realness” and didn’t really get that impression on first view ☹️

Pretty decent, even though with these things you always end up wanting more by the end of it. Positives GT7 looks incredible. Some positive screenshots and upgrading on cars which I was hoping for God of War Ragnarok looks incredible. My son was super stoked to see it (he's just completed the latest one 3 times over!) Wolverine tease got me going even if i've never liked the character in films and cartoons Spiderman looks amazing too, heres hoping for co-op experience after seeing 2 spidermans together Forspoken looks an incredible game for fans of Single Player games KOTOR remake tease was good to see (always interested in it but never played it) Not so positives No news on a Last of Us Multiplayer that was going around the houses. Such a huge miss for me as they'd be a huge following for this regardless of what people feel about the story on Last Of Us 2. GTA 5 has the same trailer 10 years later for the next console? I'm so confused with that showing KOTOR feels like way way WAY off which is a shame Spiderman 2 is also 2023, which feels like a Q3-4 release (if not pushed back a further year like most AAA games get these days) Would've been cool to see more Multiplayer games thats in store. Maybe even an update to firmware, such as how Discord will be integrated, etc

When a spammer bot gets through and posts something then essentially the thread could become unread for you as it might not have ever been seen by you before. Luckily we get rid of the crappy messages as quick as we can so you don't have to worry about them...just an unfortunate mechanic that happens. Hopefully you'll see it doesn't happen too often!

Wasn't personally overwhelmed but this is the stand out for me if they get it right....

Ok, so breaking down the short glimpse we got of Spiderman 2 last night during the Playstation showcase, it looks like we will be able to play as both Peter Parker Spidey and Miles Morales during the game, though it will be interesting to see if you get a choice at certain points of the game or whether it will just give you the character needed depending on the campaign point. Looking forward to how they bring Venom into the game, amd whether he will be playable at any point, even if they bring out some DLC to play through, maybe bringing Carnage into the game universe. After rewatching the trailer it clicked that the voiceover is Kraven the Hunter, so looking forward to find out if they are going to use one of the comic storylines or go their own way with the game. What do you guys think? Personally i'm really looking forward to this one as i spent so mamy hours playing the first one 😁

The game is pretty much one take throughout - I can't even remember when there was a single cut. It's a rare example where the game looks exactly like how it appeared in the trailers too so this one will look just as good as it does now. Cannot wait!

I'll reserve judgement until I get a chance to try it out but yeah I'm hoping it's not as bad as it seems 🤨

Just like GT Sport the first thing you do is mute the music lol Yeah, I want to see what the game modes are and more importantly, how the driving feels....and new tracks of course 🙂

I thought this was probably the start of the showcase yesterday. It's clearly showing some great signs of modification and upgrades, hopefully similar to teh GT 1 era. Simplistic upgrades to learn and do if you aren't a car expert but many extras to buy if you do want to go deeper. Initially I thought the country map view was initially like Forza with the open drive to certain areas but on second glance I don't believe it is. Driving wise, the HUD looks pretty much like GT Sport so I don't expect an overhaul to the game. I really hope they fix Rally driving though 🤣

I'm certainly gonna keep my eye on this but it's not out until 2023 so I'm not sure why they announced it so prematurely. I know there's a lack of games on PS5 but filling it with titles that are miles away at the earliest isn't ideal. I didn't get Morales but I did enjoy the first game however they really need to do away with all the filler like towers and copy and paste activities because it stinks of a Ubisoft-inspired title. I was seriously taken aback at how cheap some of the gameplay was in the original outside of the spectacular swinging which was implemented really well. The busywork needs to be cut out and they need to strike a better balance with pacing and providing a consistently enjoyable experience rather than one that's all over the place. Stealth was also shite from what I remember. If they can capture the brilliance of the Batman games then they'll get it right but if they repeat the same mistakes, I don't think people will be as forgiving especially in a couple of years time.

It's like they had a team meeting that went something like this: "we need to put some stupid newby things in the game. Any ideas?" "how about when people are getting shot at their movement gets slowed down so it's harder to escape?" "that's quite a good idea" "And then when you're getting slowed down, there is a perk that allows people to see you through walls?" "Brilliant! We'll put both this in the game. You're getting a bonus for this!"

Dunno how I missed this as I thought I read everything here! Dammit! Someone should let us know how the game is for a few quid.

I expect slower gameplay to what FIFA offer, and in most instances that is the better way to go with an alternative football game but I can't disagree with your statement James. So gutted that we won't see PES continue in their better form via the games they've given us.

Looks woeful. Horrendous ball physics, sloppy animations, mechanics look slippery and in general it looks like a sluggish mess

As soon as I saw the event being only 40 minutes, I knew they'd have very little show off. There was definitely some quality with a couple of big names but in terms of quantity it was very disappointing. I still think we're 2-3 years off true next gen. I am also personally disappointed, bordering on annoyed that there is still no word on a Bloodborne upgrade or proper PS5 version.

Can't wait for this!!!!
