The Hardzone mode is getting talked about and there are suggestions it's going to be an Escape From Tarkov style mode where you do your thing and have to extract. Maybe a bit like the Division dark zone extraction. I'm really intrigued.

So with the August games being very mediocre to say the least, there seems to be the feeling that September could be a big month. I've seem a few sites saying F.I.S.T. Forged in Shadow Torch is a good bet for the PS5 game, but hoping there is one big ps4 title in there too

Normally it's a bad couple months the a few months of decent games but hoping September will bring a big title in.

So this week @RenFenggeand I went to visit Athens Greece and planned a little FG meet and greet with @Tar-Eruntalion who is an Athens native. We met John and his sister for a nice dinner at Hytra, a roof top restaurant with some nice views of the skylines and the Acropolis. Of course we do, food is the ultimate unifier. Every culture has to eat, breaking bread is the most powerful way to experience our cultures. As for the fires, we drove south east yesterday to Poseidon's Temple and saw some damage. There are some raging ones north and west of us. It's pretty crazy for sure. Looks like some international help arrived at our hotel from Qatar.

Watched A Quiet Place 2 last week. Was a good addition to the first one. I think what I liked most about it is they did not fall into the trap almost every sequel seems to fall into where they overdo things to try to outdo the original film. Rather than that, they just basically continued out with things the way the first film did which made for a good watch. I'm thinking the way it ended might be a lead in to a 3rd film perhaps. Wrath of man is on-demand for $5.99 now so plan to rent that this afternoon.

Just got back from watching The Suicide Squad and oh my god.....it was amazing!! It's definitely the best DC film i've seen and i would say it's up there with some of the funnier marvel films. You can tell that James Gunn has been given free reign to make the film he wanted to, and it is cast absolutely perfectly - everyone is great and even King Shark has been done well. It has some real laugh out loud moments and doesn't rely on making itself known to be part of the DC by referencing other events. If you get the chance i would most definitely recommend it 👍

It's a good game but gets a bit samey samey, I should really go back and finish it.

We haven't had a new GTA in what, eight years? Because online is a cash cow. But i suppose there is more choice now than ever and my goto games are rarely triple A. My most played games are all by indie developers, the only string is that they often spend a lot of time in early access.

Triple A games are becoming more and more predictable with each “new” release. It’s either the “Yearly update” (cod), remake of something old, Game as service, dark souls clone, or an open world sandbox/stealth/crafting etc etc. Not all are bad, but a lot of the gems are coming out of indie developers more and more mostly because they’re willing to take a chance at something different. Most of the AAA publishers won’t take a chance unless a name is associated with the product.

I'll be rocking this on launch day! I can't friggin wait for it!
