This was one of the first pc games I ever played, found it at a car boot sale and got hours and hours out of it. Keep getting tempted to get a budget pc, and this isn’t helping 😂

3/27/2021 Workout Boxing Thoughts: What workout absolutely crushes any thought that maybe you started gaining some endurance? Basically, anything in the martial arts/fighting realm. I haven't been boxing since... Christmas time? I think. But, luckily, I haven't forgotten the combos we were working on. I just have terrible stamina. Again, my goal in any fight is to finish it in 2 - 3 moves, then run the f*ck away if I need to haha. My boxing coach has me working on some other non-boxing movements. Wants me to train like his other boxers, with the whole workout. Ehhh... At least I know that every punch I threw was power-packed enough to make him need a break from my fists. So, while he was needing a break from my fists hitting the pads, I was needing a break to breathe! I also went to my chiropractor after. He goes to the same HIIT gym as I do. We were talking about the workouts, and he told me to anticipate more running coming up. I jokingly said, "Is this to get us ready for Murph?" He said, "You know... never thought about it.. but it probably is." FML. For those who don't know, the "Hero" WODs are tributes to fallen soldiers. ‘Murph’ is named after Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, who was killed in action in Afghanistan June 28th, 2005. (Every so often, a new WOD is created in honor of fallen heroes. My favorite one being the 'Hotshot 19', which I think I almost cried just trying to finish. Boxes have raised over $336,000 for the families of the 19 fallen firefighters.) More info on the background of the 'Murph' WOD. So, maybe I'll start training for it. Maybe I'll fully stick to my fitness goals for a full year for once Haha.. we'll see.

Managed to grab a £20 copy of FIFA 21 (PS4 disc) which gives you a free upgrade for the PS5 version - just install the game and then download the free update on top. Not a fan of FIFA these days but the attention to detail and overall presentation is really sublime especially in the lower leagues.

You can still do the upgrade, just switch versions depending on what you’re doing. I play career and UT on the ps5 version, then swap back to play clubs with the guys.

I was a huge fan of the total war series and it’s one of the few things that make me hanker for a pc , although not even sure it would run. Actually preferred MW2 to Rome, the wide variety of factions and the religious underplay just made it an amazing game. Good strategy and then the battles were epic. Always remember those battles were you were totally outmanned but got the good ground, like a hill, and just held on for dear life. Amazing game

So its about a decent price at £20 now, especially of you have a PS5. However, its good to know that if you ever want to play with someone on FIFA 21 that is on a PS4, for some reason this is only one I know that won't allow you to play with someone that is on a different version. This is why all of us here playing Pro Clubs with FG is playing on the PS4 version.

Formula 1 in 2021 is the year that shouldn't have happened, this was supposed to be the first year of the new regulations but due to the pandemic, it was decided to carry over last years cars with a few changes. The 2 most note worthy changes are the introduction of the cost cap in an attempt to stop the big teams out spending and out developing the independents. Will Haas or Williams score any points this year? So many questions and 23 races to find out the answers.

This game is definitely worth a look - Spintires was a very unique game a few years ago and Mudrunner was an impressive follow-up. The newest game SnowRunner which has been out a year is also growing immensely in popularity. These are driving-based games that simulate physics to an incredible accuracy with some astonishing attention to detail. You have to navigate your way through all sorts of tricky terrain and it's very challenging. Co-op can also be played too which adds a lot more to the experience.

Did not see this coming Pre-purchase Total War: ROME REMASTERED on Steam STORE.STEAMPOWERED.COM Total War: ROME REMASTERED lets you relive the legacy that defined the award-winning strategy game series. Remastered to 4K with multiple improvements to visuals as well as refinements to gameplay... This was an extraordinary game back in the day that really propelled the series spanning over 20 years. Shogun was a great introduction but this was the game that really did it for me. It'll be interesting to see if it stands the test of time and can be brought up to date without losing the original feel. 50% off to owners of the original so that's just £12.49 for me!

There is a multiplayer beta next month for Resident Evil: Re:Verse which is free for owners of Village. I am still honestly baffled as to why they are putting an MP component in the game. It'll be DOA and a complete waste of development time. It's not like it's going to generate any revenue or challenge the likes of Dead By Daylight. Re:Verse also seems to be deathmatch-oriented so right off the bat it is going to be a stale concept. The beta will probably get more players that the final game and there will probably be less than 1500 globally after 3 days on all systems. Complete waste of time.

Until the franchise goes back to third person view I don't think i'm interested if i'm honest. I said it earlier in the thread that this is so critical to this franchise that I don't feel any pull towards the game at all. If anything i'll start playing through RE2 remake and i'm sure that will set a high bar for a brand new RE game in the future.

So the FIA is going perform additional checks to "routinely and randomly select one car at each Event...for deeper disassembly, conformity checks and checks of software and systems" So who do we think the FIA are suspicious of to implement such a thing? As by the sound of it, these inspections will be both more thorough and more often than normal. Currently McLaren have their fancy floor but this surely would have been (mostly) agreed as legal leading up to the season. There's a rumour that Mercedes have something up their sleeves to do with cooling and allowing them to run a higher power so maybe Merc given engine modes have been banned.

Yep, I do think that Pro Club goals are more prestigious than others but just to be devils advocate, it's worth thinking about a) the votes would clean out in the Pro Clubs options if that it is the case and b) we are likely not able to get goals constantly put up from Pro Clubs each month based on the first month. More than happy to leave March as Pro Clubs goals and see how it goes. I'm also trying to think of ways to help others that maybe just enjoy playing FIFA outside Pro Clubs they can be involved in FG stuff if that makes sense. Thanks for the opinions @Macca89 @jordie1892 , this is the stuff we need to know! 👍

This person here. Who figured out that a good way to eliminate a handful of Fulings was to have them chase you into the Lox herd? Me. This person here. Who was oddly surprised to find some backup when it was down to like 6 Fulings after the Fuling Brute, the 2 Fuling Shamans, and a mess of other Fulings were dead with their gold and iron everyone? Yup, me again. Don't wander into the Plains, he said. Be careful, you're near the Plains, he said. Long distance sniping skills FTW. For all the questions I posed in the OP it is going to be an interesting opening weekend this year especially finding out the true pace of Mercedes and Red Bull. I can't decide between predicting Mercedes having sorted their car and being 0.5-1 second ahead or a Red Bull 1 - 2 come the chequered flag.

Race 1/23 Bahrain - Sakhir When was the track built? Ground was broken for the Bahrain International Circuit in December 2002. Like the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, the developers had a blank, sandy canvas to work with, and with that fashioned the technical, 5.4km track designed by Hermann Tilke. When was its first Grand Prix? It was 2004 when the drivers first lined up under an unusually cloudy sky for the inaugural Bahrain Grand Prix. The race was dominated (like many in 2004) by the two Ferraris, with Michael Schumacher winning out from Rubens Barrichello, while the crowds were also treated to a fantastic dog-fight between the Jaguar of Mark Webber and the Renault of Fernando Alonso. What’s the circuit like? You can usually expect great racing and decent amounts of overtaking in Bahrain, while the drivers have to contend with wind, racing under floodlights and the difficulty of finding a decent set-up with the wide temperature fluctuations between sessions. The track’s most challenging point is the tight, downhill, off-camber Turn 10 left-hander, while the fast run through Turn 12 is another highlight, allowing the racers to really feel their cars coming alive.

Welcome aboad matey. I love that you used Ahoy, it's so underutilized these days. There are a few folk here on PC. Slowly over time as people get older and have more money or space available, it becomes a thing to build or buy a decent PC for gaming. I have neither money or space, so I'm on PS4 which is all good. Nice that you found it to "The Forum" The place to discuss many different topics with some interesting people. I'm sure you will enjoy it here and fit in perfectly fine!

Sooooooooooooooo. It's been a minute, eh? @Tar-Eruntalion and @TurboR56Mini have a bit more of the map than I do, but I'm the one posting. Notes: Go check out the "Mountain Lodge". @Tar-Eruntalion , @TurboR56Mini , and @FallenDark200 did some amazing work there... and because I felt the need to have pets, it is now overrun with wolves. 😅 They're friendly. Promise. There's just a lot of them now... Snow Lodge is pretty cool. Especially if you need to hunt Drakes and Golems. Because they are literally right outside the lodge. Location for the 4th Boss (Moder) has been found. He's East. If you find yourself exploring where I have been, you may start finding random campfires. @TurboR56Mini stumbled upon a few of my random campires. I thought it was funny that he was surprised by them. So, fires everywhere now! Especially on top of Troll Caves and Dungeons (i'm not clearing any. So, feel free)... and near abandoned buildings. Or as a trail to one of our outposts/bases/camps.

Thanks. I was 202.6 this morning and set a new 5k PR: 26:25 replacing 27:13. I think I could break 26:00 if I did a .25 mile or so warm-up, as my first mile is always my slowest. My best mile was 8:07.
