Name: Vault Patio Location: FG Server, Vault So I may have replaced the walls and created a patio at the Vault. I feel like @GazzaGarratt did such a nice job on the dock, it needed a long boat, patio, and outdoor seating/bonfire arrangements. So as @FallenDark200 found his newly discovered tree clearing and moat digging ability, I was working on the patio. I think it came out just fine. I was getting tired of the front of rear of this base looking like poop. OOO and I added a dew flower beds for planting things!!! Thanks @RenFengge for fixing my planters as I was creating, looking top notch now!

Oh! Good playing with @FallenDark200 and @Plumbers Crack today on the FG Server! We got @FallenDark200 a swamp key and let him go nutty with the new power of chopping down trees hahaha. Also, I went exploring with the boat... and misplaced the boat. Don't worry! I replaced the boat!

Murph has been explained to me. He can't honestly remember his best time as it was 6 or 7 years ago but it was sub 1 hour. His latest challenge with some friends is a 4 mile run every 4 hours for 48 hours and no cheating running 8 miles and having longer recovery...every run starts exactly 4 hours after the previous run started! Madness!

After all that, the ad says "We're now recruiting" 🤣

3/8/2021 Workout 5 Rounds: 12 dumb bell squat cleans (45lb pair) 250m row Bonus: 8 Rounds: Tabata Push-ups Thoughts: Sometimes, I wonder if my coaches are trying to throw me off my game. I walked in, then was told to go to a different square.. more... inside the class as opposed to my square that is on the outskirts. I thought to myself before walking in, "This should be fine. It's a good workout. I hate cardio, but there's lifting... and we don't have to go heavy. Maybe like, 15lb pair. Pure cardio. Right? My traps are sore anyway. And, it was a high-carb day yesterday." Then, Coach Liz puts me in a different box. I said, "You mean the other box right? My second usual box?" I said this as I saw a lighter weight in the other box lol. She said, "Nope. You're in the front left box today." Mmkay. Maybe we'll just change the weights later? After the warm up? Did the warm up, which I always laugh about because it's a workout in itself. Then, she was checking in on everyone with weights. Coach James was working out with us this morning and was in the box in front of me. Coach Liz said, "Everyone good with weights?" She looks at me. I said, "Maybe something lighter?" Coach Liz and Coach James paused and stared. Coach James said, "See. The problem with going to the squat workshops is that now everyone knows you can squat over 250lbs... and we've seen you squat clean at least 145lbs when you've dropped the bar on Saturdays." Coach Liz, "Go lighter, she says. Hah! Such a joker over there." Me, "But... hopes and dreams? And.. cardio?" So, did the workout. Really hated all the cardio while I was doing it. But, still glad I did it. When I did my final pull on the rower, I unstrapped my feet and just plopped on the floor, gasping for air. But, the fun didn't stop! Because, TABATA push-ups for 8 rounds. Last time we did it, I didn't necessarily understand why people rested face down on the floor. Oh, I totally did this time. My goal was to do 7 - 8 pushups each round... Helps me just not quit. My upper body is a bit toast today. We cooled down, sterilized everything, and went on home. I walked out the door and saw basically the perfect emoji for today's workout. Some apathy mixed with some tears and a slight relief of getting it done.

As far as I'm aware older CODs did have some sort of SBMM but it was only there to protect the REALLY bad players, meaning people with disabilities etc. I'm fine with that but let everybody else play everybody else. When I first played COD4 I got absolutely destroyed as it was the second game I played online (the first being Gears 1). I didn't cry or give up. I kept at it until I was the totally average player that I am today 🤓

I think we've officially gotten far enough into the game where exploration is a lot for one person... while I also like to do some other random things! Notes: 2 new portals: 1 at @Tar-Eruntalion 's Base; 1 at the place I call Despair If you go to the Portal of Despair, you will probably find a bunch of random stuff everywhere... as I went with the boat, but also did not have space to pick up everything from defending myself. Enjoy the treasure? Next Boss is Bone Mass, and it is south in a Swamp Biome. My focus on the next times I'm in the game will be major exploring, and less "housekeeping" (e.g., feeding pigs, farming, refilling torches)

I currently dart around the A roads of Northamptonshire in a 2017 VW Polo Gti 6C Bought a couple of years ago as I was missing the feeling of racing on a regular basis thanks to various injuries, and just wanted something that made my drive to work a bit more interesting. Was torn at the time between a couple of different cars like the Golf GTi/R and a BMW 125i/330, but saving for a wedding at the time and remortgaging the house made me consider finances and thought I needed to be a bit more sensible. It’s a great little car for me and the wife, with plenty of power and great handling and regularly makes me laugh. Definitely surprises a number of more powerful cars in the twisty bits. Only downside is that it’s not got much space in the back and pre Covid I was spending every week at the fuel pump spaffing away 50quid a time on Mr Shells finest 😂

I do believe that the older COD's (certainly prior to AW) didn't have any SBMM in, however there was lobby balancing. The developers (mainly Treyarch) have tried (unconvincingly) to suggest that it's been in every Call of Duty since COD 4 but I just can't see this being the case. If it was, it was implemented nowhere near as ruthlessly as it has been in recent times. I MW2 and BO1 for instance, I would often find myself going up against players who had 3+ k/d's and even be on the same team as ones below 0.40. I used to check combat records whilst waiting for matches to begin in the original Black Ops and every lobby was varied. In Black Ops 2, Treyarch even told players to go easy against Christmas noobs which kinda contradicts the concept and perhaps shows that it didn't exist like they claim. I don't mind them having protected lobbies but if they do, then those players need to be protected against reverse boosting and that is something the devs and Activision have failed miserably with.

This is where i'm at with a core part of what i'd love to see in a new CoD. 2 playlists is the way to go. Make it clear that one has SBMM and the other is completely free of this. Maybe just make it connection based. Would stop all the moaning about SBMM if bad/good very quickly.

Yep @GazzaGarratt, fixed the year too, it's a '68 not '69. Have had it 20 years now, my dad and I built it back in highschool. Bought it 2001, painted it in like 2006ish. That picture is a few years old but it was taken in the town we live now so it's current. Have not driven it in a few years which is killing me. Need to dump some money in it for new suspension, the 60 year old components need some love after a massive pot hole was hit a few years ago. I plan on dumping another 20k into it so just waiting. This is a body on frame car and they make some killer aftermarket rolling chassis's these days. They come with all new suspension too so that's like 12-15k right there. Have been working on the house for the last 7 years so it's on the back burner for now.

Make that 6😂 Yep, Chelsea and Leicester suffered similar fates after winning the league. Who would've thought that the Arsenal v Liverpool fixture next month would be a midtable clash! They could still win the Champions League though but if they don't, they'll likely be playing in Round 2 of the League Cup next season!

For the sake of nudging @TurboR56Mini to talk about cars, because he loves cars... We have a r53 MINI Cooper S that we dumped a good amount of money in last year lol. We are never getting rid of it. We do actually want a classic Mini one day. Our order for the new Ford Bronco was just put in... Can't wait for that. Yes, manual for everything.. because more fun. Not efficiency. Fun. Also, to help keep me awake while driving hahaha.

This is spot on imo. I don't really care of the setting or time period where COD is set; COD4 and MW2 were my favourite 2 COD's but COD WaW was great too as I love WW2 era and the Black Ops series has been brilliant too, especially earlier on. The fact you can't now jump on COD to chill out after a busy day at work and just have fun is a travesty. Even in MW2019, the only game mode I could play with my best mate was Cyber. Yes it was sometimes sweaty, but it was pretty chilled most of the time and you'd run into some pretty cool players and get chatting, I could easily play hours and hours of that, it wasn't full on. Cold War on the other hand is just an out and out sweat fest. I saw someone the other day on Twitter under a JGOD tweet, complaining about how SBMM has gotten so bad and strong in the game, that it's actually causing issues in their friendship group for when they play together, as in some players are decent and slow are awful, but when they play together they automatically get a strong lobby as half the team is above average and the lesser players just get destroyed so its pointless playing together and the 'worser' players have to just play together to get a lobby that matches their skill level. The lobbies should be based on ping and then randomised mostly; yes have SOME skill level active, but not so every game is a balls to the wall sweat fest. I'm not sure if the older CODs had absolutely no SBMM, but I remember playing SnD on COD4/MW2 with a full party, all having a laugh and catching up on how our weeks had been etc then you'd run into a strong full team and have to really try for 1 or 2 maps, but because it was only now and then you relished the challenge and enjoyed it regardless of losing or winning. With the last few CODs its been like this every game which just isn't enjoyable. The main reason why I just play Rebirth Island now as its a good mixture between traditional MP (respawn if a teammate is still alive) and the Warzone concept. To summarise, I don't care where its set or what the guns are, just make it less of a sweat fest so you can actually play it with mates and not feel like an MLG pro trying to win 500k every. single. game. 😅

Also feel it could be a mentality problem too. Once you win the league with ease almost and then the Champions League, it must be hard to carry on with that intensity and motivation when you're already at the top. I guess that's where Pep has the experience of winning multiple trophies with Barca and get emulate this with the City team to retain titles etc. I definitely think the whole no fans being at grounds has amplified it further. Imagine Anfield after losing 2 games on the bounce at home, yet alone 5...

R.A.P.S from BO3 was an awesome streak.

Another reason why I think COD will never return to its glory days is down to how the gaming landscape has changed. The golden era of COD around MW2 and BO1 was when deathmatch was still very popular and level progression was a big aspect of people's ongoing enjoyment. Someone going 30-4 was a great gameplay for a YouTube video and there were no competitive stresses. I bet veteran arena shooter players of the millennium days did not like this type of game or its format the same way many don't like COD in its current state. Nowadays, getting 30 kills is nothing and gameplay commentaries, unless they are giving tips on cheesing or OP weapons, are largely redundant. Someone even getting a double nuke barely gets any attention these days or going 100-0 whilst using knife only. Even the new nuke world record set the other day (72 seconds) didn't bat an eyelid in the community. Sadly it's all about skin culture today and looking good in-game. The e-Sport mentality is being injected into g-fulled players with a rapid meta in terms of mechanics and competitive matchmaking. You can be playing casually yet onscreen it looks like you are sweating it like crazy. Prestige also means little now - a few years ago, players were reaching Prestige 10 level 1000 just after Christmas when even I would struggle to reach just the max prestige over the duration of a year. Although I can still comfortably hold my own even in the most sweatiest SBMM riddled matches, I think a lot of the fun has been sucked out of the experience because of the way people have been conditioned to play and how the game is designed. It's more mentally exhausting than fun at times. One other factor which has diminished the fun of the COD titles pretty much the whole of the last gen was disappointing kill/scorestreaks. I can barely name any after Black Ops 2 they were that forgettable. Even ones that returned to the series just didn't have the presence, enjoyement or sheer power like they did in older titles. I really don't know how they got this so wrong and why they haven't bounced back. Could be that it's just another tiring aspect but certainly they sucked from Ghosts onward.
