Been kind of a shit time to be a police officer in the US, but I'm on the downhill side now anyway so whatcha gonna do, amirite? I placed high enough on the LT assessment that I should get promoted sometime in 2021, early 2022 by the latest. I'm hoping to go back to Invest at some point once that's done.

Trilogy Remaster basically Mass Effect: Legendary Edition officially announced | PC Gamer WWW.PCGAMER.COM BioWare has finally confirmed that the Mass Effect trilogy remaster is happening. There is also a brand new Mass Effect game coming too which BioWare will probably screw up. At least the first 3 are a pretty safe bet.

Sony hasn't released a whitelist of compatible 3rd party drives yet (probably because they want to sell their own first but those aren't ready in time) but it will have to be an M.2 NVME SSD. Apparently the extra slot that houses such thing wont even be active on release which is even more cuntish from Sony and it will require a hardware OS update. The price range for these currently are around £110-230. A top-end Samsung 970 is £70 for 250gb. Market may get shaken up when Sony's are out and more information on compatibility is available. Bog-standard SSD's and high capacity HDD's likely wont work even just to store basic installation data.

True. Leeds didn't deserve anything out of the game but VAR makes it incredibly difficult to enjoy games when these calls are made. People say its the rules, which to some extent I agree with. The root cause of the problem is makes rules clearer. However, even if you did that, the line will then be somewhere else and that is then VAR becomes THE problem. In a game that isn't perfect for a reason, it creates negative press in largely every instance it is used. Not just for decisions but for the beauty of the game itself. Not much we can do now though. I can't see it going away now it has been implemented.

Jesus it looks smooth. Excited to feel that haptic feedback in the way they've explained e.g. like fireballs in your hand. The early signs of that from reviews say its utterly brilliant and for a game like this it'll add that little extra. I'm seriously considering it as maybe a Xmas present or early purchase.

This is one of my 2 big concerns. Luckily the other one should be okay - Copying is no longer a thing - however it also could become a problem as the reason copying is going away is more down to the SSD inside. Not sure how it will work with an external storage. I like to have a number of games updated so i can just turn on and play. I apprciate we're living in an era that we update games regularly and i doubt we'll get the cartridge days ever back because there's many pros to it...however, I don't want just 2 games installed on this before I go and get a hard drive. Also, I can't find hard evidence on what you should actually buy as additional storage? If it's external, wouldn't that ruin the speed of games and the whole upgrade of a PS5 as its so dependent on the SSD? Would love more info on it if anyone has it. One thing I am happy about is a few games that i have that are free upgrades look like they are smaller in size (Destiny 2 is c.70GB).

I hold a terrible grudge against EA as I have seen them destroy every studio I have loved. Studios that have made cult-classics. Honestly, how do you kill the studio that made SimCity and reduce it to just Sims? So, I have to play Cities Skylines now? It's a great game, but... Don't get me started on the 90's studio Bullfrog and their demise shortly after being bought. If I find the article that lists every single studio that died under EA, I'll post it.

I'm an RPG player. The first game was definitely very RPG. The second game did annoy me a bit as it took some action/FPS cues with the god damn ammo, but that was okay, and I ended up really loving the second game. The third was just fantastic, but I will admit that I played it after the "fixes", so the story was near perfect for me and my characters. Also, I think the third was fantastic only because it was the culmination of the whole story and not because it was doing anything else. ME2 holds the trophy of being the best of the series for a reason. I definitely understand how it can be difficult for non-RPG people to get into it. I mean, @TurboR56Mini is your standard FPS gamer, who really only played sports games until I introduced him to the other genres. He could not stand the pace of it. It will be interesting to see if BioWare adjusts some of the mechanics in the first one to really pull new players in.

I am so excited for the remaster! Hopefully, they remember what made their studio great before EA came to destroy it like they tend to do with any studio they acquire.

I've inadvertently put a vault door on but it has a 7000 rating so should be ok for now. I get the feeling there's another door missing though...by all the steelwork on the inner wall entrance..I'll let someone who's more familiar with the layout sort that one out Be aware if you do jump on that it's 24 hours to a horde night - I probably won't be on for a while, maybe tomorrow sometime

looks like it is even more than that. If you play MW you rank up in Cold War. Shipment 24/7 anyone? Only thing that wouldn't work is the gun attachments but you could get your ranks pretty quickly that way

Everything is going well. COVID has my son attending high school from home, which has had it's challenges. Wife's little online store is doing fine. Everyone's healthy, etc. We're hoping we can get to Spain next year so we don't lose the credits we have for airfare and hotel, but we'll see what happens.

Guess I should finally get round to buying it on the store then 😄

Old topic, but I now wear a Fenix 5X most of the time, a Vivoactive 4 replaced the Vivoactive 3 and is an occaisonal wear. It's been immensely helpful in motivation and keeping activity levels up. As embarrassing as it is to admit it, I got up to around 280 lbs as a detective. I'm 216 now, which is still overweight for me but not obese. I got down to 206 for a bit but my heart rate dropped to 44 and I had to back off and let my body reset. Actually had to have a heart scan because doc was worried, but everything's fine now and I'm working my way back down with the goal of being under 200 and then maintaining 185-200, depending.

Warzone remains separate and will just update itself accordingly in December. Still crazy to think that Cold War + Warzone will take up over 30% of users PS5 SSD space right off the bat. Thank fuck you can choose your packages now. I'm only gonna install the MP and Campaign with the ultra graphics pack on PC which will be around the 100gb mark. Not interested in the zombies portion. Campaign can be removed once I've done that too.

I started learning Photoshop around 2010 by making signatures for the guys on the old MW2 Forum. Lucky enough to now use Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and After Effects in the day to day of my job. ! I think to start just ensure you are comfortable with using the basic tools. Even with the more complicated work I do now, it's essentially just problem solving how to get to your end result using those basic tools. I remember finding a lot of the tutorials quite boring (and I have a terrible attention span), so try and pick ones that have you create an end image (not just 'this is how to do X'), and you will start to just absorb the information. If you need any help with anything, feel free to shoot me a message! I'll attach a few examples of recent work I have done: 1 - Free Standing Display Unit to go into Sainsbury's stores. You can see this in stores across the UK currently 2 - Disney Storytime Collection Slip Case - A new product available on Amazon. I don't often get to design the actual products, more the marketing materials, so this was a fun change of pace. 3 - I create yearly catalogues across different the different imprints. Whilst I can't share the 2021 catalogue, this is a page from this years.

It will be just that. Sony removed the trailer that shown it was available for PC and relaunched it saying its a PS5 exclusive so expect it to be on PC 6/12 months later. It looks amazing though, I really hope it will feel as smooth as it looks. Definitely makes me think of Bloodborne and wishful thinking it can be on par or better than that.

Can't wait for the PC version, I know it's an exclusive but i reckon a timed exclusive.
