I'd say unlikely - if anything, it could delay the game further for improvements. We still don't know how far along Bethesda are on this game or what Microsoft are looking to add in the short term regarding ongoing projects. Development may just continue as normal with Microsoft taking a backseat and collecting the cash or there could be internal changes to personnel and their hardware. There is already a huge disparity between the tech Microsoft have at their disposal and what the Bethesda staff have been using. Hopefully more information will be revealed about TES6 but I probably wouldn't expect to see this game out until at least 2024. Starfield seems to be their main upcoming focus right now.

Microsoft Games pass is becoming an absolute powerhouse, forget the play between console and pc, the collection alone is getting insane. Maybe Microsoft can get Bethesda to give up that spaghetti code they've been using since 2000.

I am more concerned with the mobile phone release plans that these companies have favored. Flagship release, upgraded version every 2 years. But overall I hope this pushes more people to PC! EGS is regularly giving away free games.

Xbox Series X pre-orders have sold out immediately. At £28.99 a month for the console and ultimate pass, it has me tempted to be honest. But temptation is all for now, I have no need unless I suddenly get the urge to play Cyberpunk with ray tracing. On PS5 I simply can't afford to shell out a large sum for a console I have no need of, in a year maybe, but it has no spectacular feature that can compare with Microsoft's offering so I'd be buying it for the social aspect only. Plus its ugly as fuck. 🙂

They've confirmed that all future releases from this deal with be on the game pass day one although I am more likely to buy their games individually rather than access them this way.

This is definitely a big move by MS. I doubt they'll make the games Xbox (and PC exclusive) as they'd lose a shit ton of money by not selling the games on PS4. Plus it'd be kind of funny for Sony to have to pay MS to licence their games 😦 More likely they've done this so they can put all the games on Game Pass which will then help them sell a lot more Game Pass subscriptions.

I wonder if the battle system from the FF7 remake is now the default battle system for future FF games? I'll wait and see on this. As usual, the trailer looks great but i'll need to see more.

I could see people on my friends list so that's not the issue. Most people were playing something else which is fine I play MW on the Xbox. I got feedup with PS+ and their networking woes. Never had a problem with Microsoft I just took the opportunity on the PS4 since the games was free and figured and might run into some of you. Being in California, most people are asleep by the time I get on so it doesn't make that much difference.

Pull up a chair, grab a cup of tea. As most of you know, I do the odd matched betting now and again, and a side effect of this is that occasionally the bookies want me to get responsibly addicted to their casinos. To do this they'll put a nice little lure on their rods and cast it to my bullshit Gmail account, and today I bit on one of those lures, nice and deep. Today's lure was from Grosvenor Casinos and it came in the form of a £10 bonus to use on their live casino. I'll save you the boring shit but live casino bonuses are always great as you stand the highest chance of making something. To do this, I needed to roll that £10 over 5 times which we always do on roulette as it's the most constant win. So I enter the roulette room and stick a quid on red, hit autoplay, 50 rounds, begin. The action has begun. Now at this point I'd like to point out that these offers tend to get flung at me on Fridays because everyone knows that responsible gambling is best promoted on a Friday night when people are pissed, this includes me. So usually when this happens I open a tab on my PC, do the autoplay thing and hop on the ps4. Like I did last time. Now you guys all know the loveable affable chappie I am after a few drinks so last time I did this I was prompted to pick a name. After a few beers. Anyway, fast forward a few months to this afternoon and the wheel is spinning, when the croupier (the well dressed meth heads who manage to keep the shakes off long enough to spin a wheel on a table) starts talking about horses. A bit confused, I put it down to him chatting to one of the players or something. Yet he goes on about touching horses, how disgusting this is, how unacceptable, etc. Proper moody, but I'm just watching the wheel spin and the ball hit the reds. This goes on for 10 mins or so, eventually penny drops when I win again and see my username pop up as a winner on the screen. I giggle to myself. He goes on. Horses this, inappropriate that, and he's getting more and more irritated. Eventually he reports me to the roulette police who then change my name to something less horsy. I've still not said a word in chat or anything, the only way he's seen my name is when I win. So now I wanna play his game. Hit settings. Change name. "safespacepls". Submit. Ha, that'll learn 'im. He starts flapping again at how disgusting this is and says it's unacceptable that I changed my name back again. The roulette police step in again and he's put his dummy back in. Confused, I try again. "safespacepls". He kicks off again, each time getting angrier and angrier. Eventually he's having a moment about how the supervisors are never quick enough to action these pigs who pick these names. The table is spinning. The ball is in action. Whilst he's having a flap, I'm trying to figure out why my name won't change, and in doing so keep changing it back from my supervisor - assigned name to my original name. The wheel slows, the ball lands on red. My name flashes on the screen so he can see it. He rips his cute little coat off, exclaims THAT'S IT and storms off. Someone else takes his place, sees my name and smiles, but never speaks it out loud. He's one of us. So today was the first time in many, many years I've managed to get a croupier to rage quit and it was completely unintentional. The name? Iwankhorses 😄 Funniest £20 I ever made.

I haven't had chance of late to put up a bit of an update so its been ace reading the updates @Greboth and @tronic44. Its been nice to get on to the map and check it out. Definitely makes it different when the first two traders we've found are right in the centre of two large towns. I love the idea of having min camps/bases so we don't have to travel back and forth in the day as you lose so much time doing things like that. I've had some good nights so far like Greebs mentioned, with hordes (and I mean hordes!) of Zombies everywhere, even in the day. Having a base in a town certainly makes things a little interesting! Skills wise, I've continued to look at Advanced Engineering and Grease Monkey to enable us to get Bicycles and eventually some 4x4 trucks. It also gave us the chance to get a Workbench and we finally made a Chemistry Station 2 days ago once Rich found a Beaker. I'm going to keep focusing on that but also some bartering skills. I'd suggest someone looks at doing the same as the Quests and Traders can give HUGE loot gains, especially with books. Definitely need to think about a few things, not in any order: A huge main base for everyone Mini bases for each town/large section we find What types of things we need for bases What books people want/need to write What other skills could be really helpful for someone to have I definitely feel this time round this server map is for keeps for a long time. Its fecking huge and lots to explore and also learn too. We've all talked about new things that we might know of but never gave it a try so we really should start doing that. It'll help each other then as we learn new fancy things for all of the bases! Maybe a big party up night where we can all meet up and get a good start on a main base perhaps?

Yep, all the games I want to play will be on PC. If didnt own a console or PC I would 100% get the Xbox though, in installments 🤗

Yeah @RenFengge , i'm now forcing myself to find time to get the dogs for a walk to keep them happy but also get me some very needed steps an activity - unfortunately i've noticed a slight down turn in my health somewhat (mainly stomach/digestion problems) so I think getting back outside should help getting the blood moving and also slightly tuning my food intake. Wife thinks I should take an intolerance test but I hope a little kick up the arse for myself should see a natural change in my health. UK culture was starting to change but I think many companies have trust issues with WFH in the main. Its helped here in a way because companies have realised people in the UK really do want to still work and can make get the same or better output in their home environment. Main issues for me are twofold 1) has this been enough for them to see it can work and 2) mental wellbeing has took a huge knock because of everything so that could actually mean we still have some form of office based working e.g. 2-3 days in the office. Thats just my opinion on what I see though.
