  1. Well I think tonight we broke the record for a huge FG Friday on MW:R. A full 18 player lobby with even a few having to wait to get in. Absolutely mental. Shipment Gun Game and Shotguns only never felt so crazy and ludicrous, and even more when we upped the knife kill pushback from 1 to 3. Somehow Tad still managed to win one with 5 push backs and 38 kills. Come to think of it Elliott, Greebs and Stretch did too. The Norwegian Rage Machine. Rage quit. Welcome to Paul Slamminbones for his maiden FG Friday - fit straight in getting 13 melee kills in of the first games he played. I was proud of the troll. Jordie was back too knowing, a d sniping his way to the top too. Crispy was Mr. Sunshine, ofc you never had a doubt that wasn't going to happen, climbing the ladder only to be routed down the leaderboard with knife deaths. Elliott found Ajay's lying prone kill technique absolutely Deplorable- much to the joy of Alex and others for the lolz. Didds yet again shown how amazingly great he is at listening to what we're playing. Like Rich said, he a totally can pick one gun...just the same shotgun for every single game. No killstreak, Sniper Only Domination turned into a grenade fest on B. Not to mention the killstreak choppers. FML. I think we'll need to find a few different game ideas to keep it fresh looking forward with that many people. However, it was a fantastic night of lolz and banter. Great games, great family. @tronic44 @Diddums @Stretch616 @crispymorgan @Shucker @slamminbones @techno @Middle Class Caveman @MrBiron @fg_cal @Greboth @Mikepjbell @Nutcuttlit @jordie1892 @Plumbers Crack @Tadnothad @ChaosGladiator Ajay @GazzaGarratt GGFG all

  2. Was an absolutely ace night as always. It's night's like these that make this whole quarantine business a hell of a lot more bearable. Looking forward to the next one already!

  3. Despite being a cunt with my shotgun I was consistently bottom of the scoreboard. Also I have no fucking clue what anyone said all night. It was ace, I needed that.

  4. Certain games are a pain in the arse and not a great deal of fun but some of the gun games on the right map can be and it stops diddums being an arse with his shotgun and ruining it for others. The 3 step back humiliation is a bit much too. Nice to see some new faces getting involved even if it makes it difficult to get a word in 😂

  5. So much carnage with so many players on such a small map 😂 Definitely down to do that again very soon.

  6. I had Crysis day one and I remember how visually superior it was to any other game at the time. Even today, it still looks better than a lot of games from around 2015. It still holds up graphically and even in gameplay terms. and it has been used as benchmark framework for an eternity now so much so it's turned into a long running meme. I played Crysis 2 over Christmas which is almost a decade old and that game could also pass for being released a couple of years ago. This remaster could go one of two ways; either it's just a lazy port for the latest consoles aka cash grab or if they do it from the ground up and incorporate their latest technology, it could really be a sight to behold.

  11. Yeah, the guy who sacked the Deadspin editor ended up resigning himself. I have no problem with journalists talking about politics, politics effects everything we do, there's political bias in everything written anywhere, intended ir not, but certainly there's a balance to be had and if you're paid to write about Sports then you should be writing about sports. In this case I understand that publication editors put up a post about how they were unhappy with the over the top adverts, which was removed at orders of G/O, which itself was against agreements made around editorial control. I don't read any of these publications since the advent of click bait and paid for reviews, so it's hard to judge, or give a fuck to be honest. [emoji846] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

  12. Their takeover seemed pretty hostile but the state of the publications particularly Deadspin at the time had to lead to pretty rapid and ruthless action because of the damage being done. The old owners cut their losses as finances were obliterated and key advertising was lost. Kotaku and Deadspin in particular were becoming known for ignoring their focuses of Sports and Gaming and instead writers using the domains to write personally-driven political articles unrelated to their topics. G/O came in quite heavy-handed and gave them a simple ultimatum - do your job properly or resign. The Deadspin editor got sacked outright for their past performance and the Kotaku staff on the other side then all banded around against the people that were paying their wages throwing all sorts of crazy accusations and statements like ''How am I supposed to write about games and not mention politics'' Schreier was a bit of a baby at times especially on Twitter but he was probably the only staff on their books that did the job properly and got results for their work. Back in the 90's every videogame journalist used to operate to this standard but nowadays a lot of writers use their position to get personal and then don't like it when their bosses finally pull them up about it.

  14. I'm the same as @tronic44, it's a game that has always passed me by and never been in my collection. If you @J4MES OX4D @Diddums and @phil bottle are saying good things then I'll keep an eye out for it. Do you think it would rival SP hits like Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War?

  16. Just finished season 2 of Sunderland til I die yesterday. I've also watched the similar show about Juventus. As for Studio Ghibli, isn't that anime stuff? @tronic44 I have already seen every season of Lucifer. Absolutely love the show and can't wait for the next season. Will look up Good Omens though! @phil bottle sadly Anno 1800 isn't on the Ps4 yet. I checked this morning and the closest thing would be Civilisation VI. Used to play those games back when I had a not shite laptop, but dunno how they play on a console... Might see if I can find some Ps4 gameplay on the old youtube. @GazzaGarratt not gonna lie, I don't enjoy RPG's much. The last one I played on console was Elder Scrolls online and it was kinda sucky as you HAD to go for one of the meta builds or you would just get fucked in PvE and PvP. Add that you just need to spend ages and ages to grind for decent gear... Or in some cases pull your credit card out. Just not a big fan of RPG's. I did debate on The Division 2 as I saw it was on sale with a heavily reduced price, but hearing Marc and Aaron bitch about trying to get high tier gear I just don't want to give it a go 😄

    Crysis Remastered

Very. When I started playing it I literally couldn't stop until I'd finished it. The graphics were just gravy, the game itself was excellent. The plot twist halfway through the story was a bit shit but worked out fine in the end. I loved it so much I also bought Crysis: Warhead which was kinda-sorta a DLC but it just didn't feel the same, it already had a bit of a hint of the game wanting a slice of the CoD pie. The original game was one where you needed to actively think about how to approach certain situations or you'd get pancaked, but Warhead was basically "take gun, kill stuff". 2 was the result of them wanting to cash in on the name by bringing it to console and it showed, the massive open world was gone, it was now an a-b shooter designed for consoles, extremely disappointing. 3 was just.... no.

  18. Crisis was a great game at the time, particularly for graphics lol. For me it was more than just looks but will see how it stands up nowadays. I still play Crisis 2 from time to time on Origin. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
