Hey all, there are still some familiar names on here, so decided to set up a new account. How is everyone doing? Don't get much chance to get on the PS4 these days, but when I do I'm still playing BFV for my sins! Played the MW beta when it was out, but didn't buy it. The ol' virus is putting pay to work life in the office as of today, so working from home for at least a couple of weeks, so thought it would be good to drop by and say HELLO. Obviously, I'll need to sharpen up on the wit and sarcasm again 😉

ok so i made a fresh windows installation and kept only my files and it seems to be okay again. internet fine. audio back,. just need to reinstall all my apps thanks again for your help guys but lastly...any recommended diagnostics to run now ?

Do you have any way to do a full reinstall? Another PC to download the ISO? USB pen drives / external HDD to mount the file? Or even the original disc?

Have you tried running in safe mode? Do the issues persist? I'm not entirely sure on what the issues are but I'm sure there's a simple fix somewhere.

If you right click on your desktop, click on display settings, then click on duplicate displays. It sounds like your computer is getting confused with what's your main screen. If you click on a program in the task bar so it's highlighted, then hold down the windows button and use the arrow keys to try and get it back on your screen

Been playing the remastered version since the lockdown and it really is such an incredible game. I didn't get round to playing it back in the day but the popularity of the series over the years has been evident so I decided to give it a shot rather just watch and read about it and it's just been a fascinating experience throughout. I really like the minimalistic narrative approach and the lack of hand-holding as you are placed into a mysterious world and have to fend for yourself knowing you have to 'ring two bells'. There are no checkpoints, waypoints of saves on the fly - the risk/reward nature of the gameplay can be punishing but equally rewarding. You kill, collect souls and use this to level up at Bonfires you light but in doing so you respawn every enemy. Sometimes you may hold a high number of souls but aim to push onwards at the risk of dying or you may want to head back to the nearest bonfire and 'bank' your souls only to see everyone come back alive. It never feels tiring or repetitive and if you die, you can still retrieve your souls as long as you don't die again in doing so. The level and world design is some of the most varied and unique I have ever seen with endless secrets and mystery. Learning each area, how many enemies there are and simply the layout of the lands is just so satisfying. The controls may seem clunky at first and the attacks are brutal but once you adapt and improve your character build things become much better and you 'git gud'! The bosses are also incredible spectacles and defeating them feels so good especially if it's a difficult fight. You can essentially move around the world and fight anything but doing at the right time, at the right level and with the best attributes is the best way and earning that is part of the incredible experience. This is definitely one of the best RPG's I have ever played and I can't wait to go through Dark Souls II and 3 next. The game also seems to have substantial replayability as well as coop and PVP.

Again, none of the blueprints are really worth it. The battle pass is cool to buy if you want but if you arent interested in cosmetic stuff then just keep doing the free one. You will get the guns free anyway. You could just grind the free one and towards the end of the season you are done or finished leveling then it may now be a bad idea to go ahead and buy it since you'll have everything done. All the Marksman rifles are good but hit marker crazy if you arent hitting the head. You really are better off with the stronger sniper on WarZone. Again, it's your preference. The Marksman rifles offer more mobility while the snipers offer more power. If you arent looking to shoot too far the Marksman rifles may be great for you. Kar98 is really good being said anyway so you have a great choice there. If you are looking for the semiautomatic and not bolt you can stick with the Marksman rifles and use the first one (dont remember the name) or the Fal. The Fal (AR) is super good and can be built to 1 shot also. As for the scopes.... The Fal also unlocks a sniper scope if wanted. The holocaust scopes are good but just offer a lot of distraction with the designs unless you commit to unlocking reticles. Again your preference on how far you want to scope. Personally I recommend thermal scope on WarZone. Makes spotting enemy's super easy and you can use it to scout your path as you move forward or even catch campers in the trees or rooftops. There is a thermal scope that also offers a hybrid for a red dot scope so you can switch between the 2. Via the FG App

Back then, Campaigns were king. They were truly one of the SP games I looked forward to so I don't blame them releasing campaign over MP. They would've learned from releasing the MWR that you don;t get all the continuance hype for a game that was iconic back in the day if you bring it back and literally don't evolve it in some way. The only reason I'd play the MP is for our private games and I bet most of us would do the same. For £20 it doesn't feel too overpriced but only if they have revamped and done some enhancements to it.

My 2p so far would be that Resident Evil 3 wasn't ever a long game when it was released - it followed Resident Evil 2 that had 4 official playthroughs with the main characters so perception will be its way shorter but that is true to an extent. Having said that, i'd never pay £50 for the remake. I'm sure I got RE2 as an xmas present which was £20 by then (Physical copy). I'm with @Riff Machine and wait for a few months before you see the sales kick in.

It was 4th most played game on Steam when I checked yesterday and from vids I have seen it seems to run well. I'll give it a blast myself today at some point. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
