All of my PC issues are fixed. Thanks, guys. However, my issues with The Forest continues. That game is so fucking buggy. I can now play in full screen and it looks great... but, everytime I close the game out, I get an error and it locks my PC up. Or... nice in a while, the second I start the game, it reboots my PC. Every other game is fine and running great. The Forest is just a little punk bitch. Via the FG App

So apparently @BO7H B4RRELS PC issue is now sorted. The reason, with the beauty of hindsight, is that the PC has had both Nvidia and AMD graphics cards in it and neither of these registry entries cleared up completely. Tommy used DDU to uninstall all the drivers and reinstall from scratch which seems to have resolved it. Next up: @Plumbers Crack's PC 😄

Played quite a few matches on Shipment yesterday and didn't notice anything different at all tbh, it's still a fucking mess, but you can't really blame IW for this due to the size of the map. In the time it takes for the game to pick a spawn point and actually spawn you there, the whole dynamic of the map has changed. I think bitching about the spawns is a bit ridiculous tbh, it's the very nature of that map.

Did you play the original Philly? If not, pirate it and give that a go instead. The new one is clearly a load of wank and shouldn't be touched with a barge pole. @J4MES OX4D has a link to download I think.

This probably got buried in the Madrid Airport thread and should be a topic on it's own. We'll start planning fall break as soon as we get back from Spain. I note that there are very cheap tickets to London (right at $300 round trip from Chicago) and while I've been to London it was a short stay some 14 years ago. Let's say one had 7-10 days to spend, where other than London should we also venture to? Stonehenge would have to be on the list. Is it foolish to rent a car and tour the countryside a bit? I've driven in Cyprus, so I can do the wrong-side-of-the-road thing and navigate roundabouts. Is Brexit going to have any impact on visa requirements for American visitors?

It isn’t when you spawn in and the map has changed that annoys me. Well it does but it’s shipment so what are you going to do. Where it is beyond frustrating is to spawn in where someone is ads’ing then spawn in another 3 or 4 times in the same place.

Yeah spawns are delicious if your on a roll, disgusting if it's happening to you. My only annoyance is Hardpoint on that map. When the hill is in the middle, it's just impossible you don't know where to turn. You can get hit from all 4 sides. I tend to just do a combination of instant hipfire or go immediately prone. I hate the dicks that camp the spawn corners. You get absolutely shafted. The thing that gets me as well, you nip into a container for a quick heal or reload. Some cunt spawns in behind you in the container. Overall I enjoy the carnage of that map. It's great for most challenges.

Wut? On Shipment? Just leave the map and spawns and everything on this map. Its a fun clusterfuck and nothing else. Although, I am super glad to spawn 4 inches away to where I was previously 👍

I downloaded a pirated version of the original (that I own anyway) earlier, put a widescreen and texture mod on and bingo, it works a dream, has all the content and there's no Battlenet either so Activision can't remove shit. Currently 0.8 on Metacritic and I'm here wondering how it's got such a good score?😎

I'd be lying if I said I'm not thoroughly enjoying the game. The consistency is still a major problem, sometimes I absolutely destroy people and sometimes I don't have a chance in a fight. This isn't down to skill but down to connection, and no amount of "it's dedicated servers lol" will change my mind. When I'm on a rampage it's very obvious that something in the netcode is working in my favour, whereas if the shoe is on the other foot, it's also painfully obvious in that I get killed in one shot before I can even raise my gun. I also find that some of the maps are extremely dependent on their knowledge to do well. The better I'm getting to know the maps the better I'm playing, and also the more I'm learning how to fuck up campers. Yes campers are a pain the arse but at the end of the day this is CoD and the community in this game is very well known to be the biggest load of wank in the gaming world, but a little element of surprise and a shotgun to the face usually takes care of them. The maps are all much of a muchness really, some are good, some are shit, some are Shipment. The worst map for me by a country mile is that fucking cave map. The campers are always in the building overlooking C, overlooking A, and occasionally the rug store. You can set your watch to this. Still, grabbing a sniper and zapping that cunt in the building at C over and over again is infinitely satisfying. Another one is the room overlooking B on Crash. I often set up shop in there with claymores and everything to counter the campers and on some occasions I've even had fan mail from campers moaning that I'm camping too much. Two claymores, a shotgun and an ammo box is immense fun. Then there's that other map, can't think of the name right now, C is on some train tracks, there's always that prick on the ledge overlooking A, and often the one sitting on the pipes at top of the building at the back of the map. I've managed to get a care package off that one fella alone, as I killed him, he came back and I was prone on the roof so I killed him again and left a pair of claymores up there for him, and he got zapped by both of them. Ha fucking ha, cunt. It's fun. I can't wait for @techno to get it.

I don’t think there’s much you can do on shipment, it’s too small to not have that happen.

I spawned in the other day and went absolutely fucking mental, think I got a 15 streak or something, people were just spawning in front of me as I was walking around. I tried recording it but naturally my PS4 had other ideas. I think I got about half of it. I imagine that if I was on the receiving end of that I would've commended the player doing it to me, saying things like "this fella is is getting rather lucky, fair play to him" or something equally as encouraging.

I’d definitely go for hiring a motor. You’ll move around a lot easier and under your own speed. Trains in this country are overpriced. As you’ve mentioned Stonehenge a couple of times, I’d suggest visiting there and branching out, as there’s lots in that part of the country to visit. It’s also very beautiful around there. You have the New Forest national park to the south, plus the Isle of Wight. To the north west of Stonehenge you have Bath, with its famous natural spring waters and Roman architecture/baths. Close to Bath you can drive to Bristol and then on to Cardiff, which is worth visiting. Has a nice castle and is in Wales. Or you could go south west to Cornwall from there, which is probably the prettiest part of the country, in my opinion. There’s lot of lovely little fishing villages to visit. @Stretch616 likes to move around the country a lot and can probably add a few things to consider.
