I'm loving this. @Greboth, maybe a good strategy type game for you as you're into them atm. Love how it is very Skull Island like and although relaxing it could be a real addictive game to get the next bit of info.

This game came out of nowhere from a first time developer - currently 92 on Metacritic and even got 9.6 on IGN. I don't think I'm gonna find the time to play this anytime soon but it's definitely something unique to pop on the wishlist:-

Activision have confirmed there will be no loot boxes however there will be a Battle Pass for each season. The pass is divided into two - free and premium streams and both have their own cosmetic rewards. Weapons and unlocks are earned by playing the game leveling the usual way. Hello! First time posting on here 😄 In my recent search for steam games I came across this Gem called Elteria Adventures, the game is in closed alpha but I was lucky enough to get a key a bit after I signed up for it as they give out keys in waves, and you're guaranteed to get one if you just sign up on Elteria's site and wait. The game is at it's core an MMORPG game but it hides that really well as at first glance it's just your avarage survival open world game. The game does take some core concepts from other popular survival games and really puts it all together with the rpg system thats in place. It truly is fun exploring the world and playing with the features that are available atm. Crossplay is purely input-based so when you opt in, you and whoever is in your party will only face like-for-like inputs. If you're using a pad either on PS4 or Xbox, you will only face those players OR a PC player who is using a controller. If pad players don't mind facing KBM users, they can further opt in to unrestricted crossplay meaning they face anyone with any control scheme. Console KBM players have to play against PC users or fellow players with this scheme on console. Crossplay has to be enabled for cross-platform play too. If someone doesn't have this enabled, they will not be able to join a party on another platform. I don't think you can sneak any crossplay changes whilst in a lobby or party as that can only be done in the menu so loopholes like this are covered. Console pad users who may want to play with a PC user with a KBM may have to have unrestricted crossplay enabled to do this. A KBM user on PC can join a (pad) console party host but they will only be matched with unrestricted crossplay users. I'm probably gonna get it on PC which means I can use KBM against PC users and also join console users when I plug my controller in instead. When I do this, I will have restricted crossplay on meaning I will only be able to join Xbox Live, PSN and PC users who also have a bad.

Does anyone know (@J4MES OX4D I'm looking at you...) when playing with xbox players in your party, does cross play have to be enabled? There's a few xbox players and few PS4 players from school and we all wanted to play together on Friday release day but we don't wanna play against keyboard and mouse players on PC. I think the features they've added have been pretty decent across the board. Graphics continue to impress me, definitely more colourful and sharper. There is a Medal Punchcard which I dont get how it works. It gives you medals as you go through a match for doing stuff but I haven't got a clue if it means anything or resets after a game or whatever. Definitely took a leaf out of other games with how the UI throws colourful stuff to you to say how good you've been. If I could get my son off my account then maybe I'd give it a bash!

So, the inevitable has happened, there's now a modded DayZ map based on STALKER. Early days but I'm sure it's not only @Diddums and myself that look fondly upon the STALKER games and I'll be keeping an eye on this.

Well it is the end game pinnacle activity so I dont blame you! However, there has been a ton of variety in it now which means people end up spread put a little more. That's okay cos we all got stuff to do, it's more about getting every person in the clan together and sorting our life out. I want us to actively help each other where possible and if we get a few regulars willing to raid then we will do more FG raids as we need confident and capable players supporting newer experienced ones. Let's get a focus on it next week for a few nights. Build momentum and start talking to others to make themselves available when they can.

Hmmm, you didnt seem to want payment last time? Although, you were out cold so hard to remember those moments. I get Phillys point, you do want people to stand up to what is wrong in society. I think the hard thing is if they pick something to do a protest on that is seen in most peoples eyes in society as not that bad, then its gonna start making people stand up in the opposite way and eventually use violence. Hate to see it but natural human behaviour is if no one moves the strongest, quite literally, leader wins. Sickening that it is like that tbh.

Not being funny but Powerlines whilst seem to be the way forward can be a PITA sometimes. I do feel like they can drop for a split moment. Hang on, just re-reading, do you use Powerlines? They are better than just a travelling wifi signal that can struggle to find it's way through all the wavelengths in the house.

Honestly, it's the best thing that could happen. A season pass is clear, guaranteed stuff for a price. You know what you have to do get said stuff, and providing it stays all cosmetic and not game changing then there isnt a problem with it. Dont like it? Dont buy it. Fortnite has done amazingly well on it and Destiny's pass just shows that it removes any bullshit RNG loot boxes that could be bought (maybe with exception of Exotic engrams in Destiny's BP). Btw, not saying Activision need any pats on the back as this was obvious they needed to do it because of lootbox backlash. Just be good to focus on how good/bad the game is for once rather than surrounding bullshit that puts people off.

I had this the other day too, with our Devolo homeplug system. I ended up doing a complete factory reset on the whole system which resolved it. Fuck, I should've sent you some networking goodies too, didn't even think of it!

Well it's quite simple really, and all boils down to one thing: It's a shame that people put wealth before the wellbeing of others. Make mo mistake I am driven by money, and will never stop earning it, but I also like to think I'm a fairly generous person at times, and what's mine, is also everyone else's. You gotta pay for my chocolate starfish though, nobody gets that for free.

Activision did this with Black Ops 4 and their operations - they made it so hard to rank up to get the ‘good’ gear, people would either have to pay up in the end, or play for several hours a day every day for nearly two months. This was even after the nerf. People we so desperate, they were happy to buy hundreds of blank tiers at an average of £1 just to get some shitty cosmetic. Activision will stifle and milk the hell out of this.

The same system that's in destiny. Another question is how long do you need to play on average to rank up as with destiny there's a paid booster towards end of season.

So as torch spam and glowstone textures are ugly the (plus who wants to spend ages wandering the nether) I've built a guardian farm so we can make sea lanterns. It's a really basic one and it probably isn't the most efficient but it works so meh. It currently isn't set up as an XP farm as there isn't such a use for XP in this modpack. Guardian Farm AFK spot: X: 2344 Z: 1303 y: 132 Guardian Farm Storage room: X: 2343 Z: 1297 Y: 7 Currently all items are just going in to the same chests though I do plan on adding item filters to sort the items and maybe some more chests if we need them. If you go up the ladder from the storage room, there's also 2 chests that ink sacks go in to as it turns out this simple guardian farm works sorta well as an squid farm too. @Plumbers Crack tagging you in to make sure you see this in case you want to use it.

I gave it a brief go which is weird because I don't really like Fornite, but Chapter 2 seems to continue strongly from the original and the new map no doubt will be a breath of fresh air along with the other subtle and quirky changes. I still can't get my head around the building controls and how people can do everything so quickly!

As every year now comes along I hope this becomes a welcome addition as it's a moment where we can say thanks and well done to some of our awesome family FGers out there. We've had a quieter year this year as opposed to 2018, so I didn't feel it was right to have as many awards as last year. This is something I hope that will change for next year but for now I am still thankful to be able to give these following 4 awards out this year! Lets not keep you waiting any longer: FG Archbishop of Banterbury - @Nutcuttlit This award was made to shout out to the funniest and jovial member of the year. Nutty without a doubt keeps everyone smiling and laughing online and has been there many times to help people out when they need support, even if its to jump off a different game. 'Scottash' has just one of those voices that lifts the mood, even if hes calling someone a ?!£$&% after he's been smashed off the track on a FG GTA Friday race. He shows his heart on his sleeve, very rarely down and has a heart of gold so I was super delighted to give him this award this year face to face. The world needs more Nutty's thats for sure. FG Hall of Fame - @Stretch616 The first of two Hall of Famers this year. One of the oldest original members to be a part of our family, even before we became FG. His support through difficiult periods has always been gratefully received and even when he couldn't be around he would always be letting me know he was around and trying his best to get online here or on his Playstation to support the FG nights. He's continually supported every event and challenge we've tried to set ourselves and we wouldn't be where we are today if it wasn't for this guy, like most of the original crew, getting FG out there and making people realise this is a family. I know this first hand because if it wasn't for Stretch, I would have never been a part of FG. Its been a long time since our chat about Destiny and for him to explain what FG was to me. He wasn't wrong. FG Hall of Fame - @BO7H B4RRELS This mighty american legend is from the 'Alliance' days of old when the two groups formed to be a big family. Tommy has always put FG in a special place and has supported Feel Good ideas and events, regardless of which side of the ocean it may be needed. Hes stayed with us through all of those difficult days. I don't think for one second that if I asked Tommy to give support to something I know he'd do it in a heartbeat. His life advice is always gratefully received and he should always be seen as a veteran FGer that can help anyone here if they are struggling. I appreciate the support hes given me over the years and it was only a matter of time until he made it into the Hall of Fame. FGer of the Year - @Greboth Well, this beauty of an individual has surprised so many people with the amount of effort and commitment to FG like no other this year. He took over being the resident Minecraft expert with not a huge background in mods, etc, to sorting out a server and modifications for a small amount of people. He's created helpful FTB mod guides, he's given generously to pretty much every Feel Good Fund presents, he's baked and created a 50th Birthday Cake for one of our very own FGers, he's built a bespoke racing car setup just for our big FG weekend, hes setup the regular time trial runs that we have on Gran Turismo, he's...you get the picture. There was times about 2 years ago that we would chat and he would literally go out of his way just to be around for myself, helping with posts and whatnot which even got myself through difficult times so this year isn't a one off. He typifies FG and is a perfect role model for our family of gamers, new and old. Congratulations to all. It was nice that I was able to give out 3 of the 4 awards this weekend just gone because I was with them. Clearly would've done the same with Tommy but, you know, flights and stuff 😉 Lets have a great end to the year and do even more awesome stuff into 2020 so these awards can keep coming like a Steam Train!
