"If you are there always for others, then in time of need, someone will be there for you." I think this is pretty fitting for Forever Gaming. That's really down to all the wonderful people here. I can go on and on about how this year for me personally has been a hard start but I imagine, and in a lot of cases I know, that a lot of people's lives inside and outside of FG are in a far more difficult spot. You all deserve a place that's always here when you need it. You need people, not just me, that are willing to listen, care about your opinion and are here to make your lives worthwhile. We've been relatively quiet in 2019 so let's make a little noise for all those people that need a little fun and support. We've made a planner for the next few months. I hope you can see there's different bits and bobs on there for everyone. Its a start. Let's build on it together. They'll be more than just this I'm sure. One feature I wanted to just pick out is FGer Game Choice. We all love different games but we can't play them all the time. However, as we organise most nights for us to party up, its only right that we should ask treasured FGers what they think we should play for a night of fun together. This should be for new and old FGers and the only way this will work though is if we support each other and play for those few hours. It may not be much sometimes but for others it means far more than you'll ever know. I want to see more people here and in other pockets of FG. You all sometimes forget and don't even realise that y'all being around together with the tiniest nod to say 'hi' or 'nice work' is huge. I won't go on any further. Look at the pic. They'll be corresponding events, quizzes, threads, tourneys posted up in good time all over FG. Get involved. If not for yourself, but for others. GGFG

I love the fact that Seb was left as CHANGE NAME for most of the season 😂 Clearly i'm the strongest as my Grandad used to say, holding everybody up 😎

Early impressions. Played about an hour of it and would provisionally rate it as follows: Sound: 8/10 - The music aint all that but the sound effects are very very good and really enhance the combat in particular. Graphics: 9/10 - World looks good, guns look good, everything looks good. On high settings of course this is a PC review after all... Settings: 9/10 - Plenty of options and keys are rebindable Story: 5/10 - It's a bit meh so far but I'll come back and update this as I progress. Characters: 5/10 - Forgettable so far to be honest but it's early days. The main protagonist is pretty one dimensional. We'll see if that's a bad thing. Gameplay: 8/10 - Combat and shooting is very enjoyable but I've not been in a vehicle yet so this score may change once I do. I've heard the humour is a little cringe-worthy so we'll see what happens and - as I say - I'll update my scores further down the line.

The Division 2 Raid is now out so I think its time to start properly levelling up and seeing if we can get a full 8 man squad to take the airport down. Has anyone come across any tips to what we would need to be ready? I'd like to focus on levelling up and as soon as i'm level 30, focus on the right type of gear to get. Who else is up for the challenge?

Tonight was superb. A lot of you turned up, 13 in fact so a great start to the recent FG Plans made. Some great games: Sniper Only Free-For-All Shotgun Only Free-For-All Gun Game Shipment clusterfucks Hardpoint Headquarters TDM Scorpion SMG Only And whatever else I can't remember You were being an amazing bunch of bellends and banter was everywhere. Some really can't remember rules - just hilarious when its broken cos someone wants to use an RPG instead of a Sniper or a Grenade instead of a Shotgun 😂 Hopefully some great little video clips were saved by everyone, be good to have a few laughs in the montage video from this. Let's get some brawling down!! Brawhalla is free on PS4 and is only approx. 350mb download so no excuse to go and get it! As per our FG update in the Site Info section, please select the best nights for us to play Brawhalla. I'll close the poll on Sunday ahead of next week and then pop some events up on the most popular nights. It can hold up to 8 players and its a pretty damn good alternative to Smash Bros on a playstation - you have nothing to lose! Remember, select all the dates you could be around for an hour or 2. Advise if any times around 8pm GMT don't suit so we can look at accomodating other times too. 👍

The ‘official’ way (for lack of a better term) is to use the twitch launcher. MultiMC was created to be a launcher for everything all in one place - different vanilla versions, different mod packs, different mod launchers, different texture packs etc. I just prefer MultiMC as it’s easier to set up, use and set options like RAM usage etc. than the Twitch launcher. I haven’t used the Twitch launcher though in a long time so they may have improved it.

Bit of an update. Working on one of @GazzaGarratts controllers. Replaced triggers, but there is still a dodgy analog controller that is jumping a bit. I've ordered a few and we'll see how they go. Should be ok, and hopefully another controller fit and well. My middle mouse button has been a bit temperamental of late. It's a Logitech G402. Lovely mouse but annoying when you try and use the button and nothing happens in overwatch. A quick bit of googling suggests it's an Omron B3F-1000. Ordered one off the 'bay for £1.21 but they sent 2, so 60p each. nice. First thing to do is find the screws, in this case they live under the mouse skates. I've got them off, but maybe I'll order some fresh ones as they have a few kinks in, they were well glued on there. Next phase is to locate the button. Easy peasy, it's the white one under roughly where the middle mouse button is. Tear down the mouse so I can get to the solder. Using my new super duper solder sucker to remove solder. It's a pain to do so no pics. I find the best way is to add more solder, melt it and then press the button on the sucker and it hoovers up the solder (it's a spring loaded widget). Now the button is removed. Clear the holes as necessary and insert new button. Now to solder it in place. The gloopy stuff is flux that helps the solder flow. Nice simple job, no new mouse needed and fixed for £1.21. I love to fix things and it's always nice to save having to buy something so you can put the money to other stuff.
