Pisses me off reading this. Who was moaning Pat? Was I there? That's not on and not what FG is all about. If I'm on and you need a hand, speak up, I'm always happy to jump in for whatevs. As for me, I'm 557 and will do whatever. I need some Blind Well and EPs though.

After a lot of pressure from irl friends I caved and bought it off the playstationstore. Hopefully I wont regret it too much.

I just played a 5v5 DOM match with Dan94 against a team of high ranked g-fueled Mountain Dew Dorito tryhards and it was even more frantic than 6v6. Chaos TDM may have two more players and be crazy but that is definitely where the pure fun seems to lie. 5v5 is more competitive, objective focused and strategic but you no doubt run into 'pro' teams, stompers and general sweaties. It was entertaining as we done them 200v199 in the last second whilst they were spawn trapping. I clinched B with a trip mine to turn the game around and then saved it with an RCXD whilst we were pinned back in our spawn again! Didn't help that it was 4v5 for a third of the game either in their favour. If you're running solo, definitely Chaos TDM is the place to go despite the messy carnage - 5v5 ironically seems even more crazy.

Bearing in mind the time differences Pat, next time you’re on and you see me in a group with some or all of Maria (Mazzer), Gary (Wapntake), Rodd (Plumbrodders), IpswichHigashi (DaveyDave) or Mike (Laidbacklankyman) jump in and I’ll introduce you to them. We can be so chilled at times that you get comments like..”has Rodd left?”..”No, I’m still here” , Mazz moaning that the rest of us keep losing our way or Gary/me falling of the edge!! We do it to relax as well. When he’s on Mike (my son) is the youngest at 32, I’m the oldest at 62 and the others are all in their fifties. Honestly mate, you’ll fit in a treat. Probably weekends will be best given the time difference (6 hours?) but when you see me on next either on my own or with one of those names just jump in. 👍

I too love the specialists. I just think the health maybe needs lowering to 100, or even try 125. The amount of times I've snuck up on someone, shooting them in the back for them to just turn round and pop me in 2 bullets is infuriating.

This is definitely a decent Call of Duty game. It's early days but I can already tell this is far better than any of the COD's we've had on the current gen. It may look like a BOTG version of BO3 with gameplay changes ripped from all other popular titles of late but actually it works fairly well despite some overly-chaotic moments and general frustrations. Definitely a much better game than it would appear in video and on paper. Leading up to release and even during the beta it felt like the game was a desperate alternate BO3 with stacks of needless changes and excess fluff but all in all; everything functions pretty good and has clearly been well thought out. Specialists are also done very well - not OP like BO3 but they offer enjoyment and tactical opportunities that benefit you and the team. If you can get through the brutal slow leveling early on and the fact higher ranked players will be far better equipped; it can be a great experience. It's not perfect by any means but the package is a whole represents decent value even without a campaign.

Ok, won’t have a lot of time to get into this game at the moment so is there anything I need to do to before I’m able to race with you guys? Nick a car? Do a robbery?

Chaos TDM is a mix of Team Deathmatch and Kill Confirmed with 6v6 and you can have 2 of the same specialists on the same team. The standard TDM and KC modes which you can only select individually in the HC playlists I think. *Edit ignore that - I've just seen on a video you can select each mode individually in core also but it's harder to navigate in the packed menus which is why I failed to locate it so far! My game just defaulted to Chaos TDM so I've been playing that and it seems very popular. May try 5v5 later to see how it plays - I imagine it'll be more calm and balanced for sure!

I played a few games last night. Played the Chaos TeDiuM playlist first. The first couple of games were fine and then I suddenly couldn't kill a single fucking person. Shoot first/die first is back! Typical COD. But I'd say Core is more playable in this game than it has been for quite a long time. I then tried some HC and it was better. Had a decent game on Summit. Played a match on the Arsenal and some players on the other team were running around with one of the shotguns and they were fucking ridiculous! They jump around a corner, fire in your general direction and there was fuck all you could do about it. So I can't wait to unlock the shotguns! And the Recon specialist is awesome for HC as well. Although I wasn't keen on the maps in the beta I've grown to like them. Much better than the turds in WW2.

Played a few matches of HC KC this morning just to see how it flowed and felt. Definitely like the feel of it where you don’t have to worry about healing yourself,winning 1v2 gun fights amd the increased health. May be what I play from now on

Can't believe Dave will finally be a part of GTA Fridays!! Also, last night's money was pretty good because it was double $ this weekend on Sumo. Didn't realise this at all! Thanks for everyone coming last night, 13 in all - I think it was such good fun trying to smash people up out of the tiniest circle. So many zoomed off the track trying to hit each other 😂 We'll try to keep it varied like last night going forward. No, two weeks is good. The Jap Grand Prix was more interesting for my new knowledge of the track.

Boredom of a track is a factor, I can’t do many laps either until I want to drive a different car/track. I did wonder at the set up whether to make each round a week. However I think it is nice to have longer to give everyone time to have a go but maybe we can change it to a week if people would prefer that.

I've not managed to get on much since my 2:10, mostly cos I'm bored with that track now. I will revisit it though to get under 2:10 can definitely improve on that with a clean lap. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

My hunter is probably around 520 My Titan is probably around 507 What I want to be brutally honest is a group of people that I can actually participate with. The last few sessions I couldn't even get people to jump into the activities I needed to I end up playing with randoms or I try to find alternate fire teams. I can't remember the last time I played with clan members other than Dave (plumbercrack). Last time I did a raid all I heard is how much I suck at jumping and how certain members are about to lose their shit. I don't need the aggravation. So I left. I'm 54 years old and I manage and $6B business unit, the last thing I need is stress over how well or not I can play a fucking video game. This is what I do to try to get away from that stress
