Greetings everybody. I am known in quite a few places as I am here, as SPFreely, but my real name is Sean and I am always interested in meeting fellow gamers. I love to play old games, maybe to make up for lost years in my youth or a renewed appreciation for them, I don't quite know. I do a little modern gaming as well, so don't feel that I won't completely identify with what some of you are talking about, to an extent I will trust me! Anyway it is a pleasure to be here and I look forward to getting to know you all. 😊

Yup, that is the correct class of car and the correct track. I can only think it is down to tyres, I just set my lap times on whatever the default are. Which from memory I think were sports hard. I never thought to change the tyres though as it is an allowed set up change even with BoP then we should all be using the softest racing tyre available. I guess my ‘fast’ time isn’t so fast anymore and I need to redo my times. @phil bottle @GazzaGarratt @techno Tagged you all to make sure you’re aware to make sure you change your tyres before setting your times. Apologies for missing this in the first place.

Looking for a core group of people that want to run comp to get the Lunas Howl and Not Forgotten hand cannons. There are no set number of players needed, I'm just looking to see who all would be game so whenever certain people are on we can all work towards getting the guns. Two more maps showcased. Glad Summit is like the original again as also remastered in BO3 DLC rather than a horrible re-imagining like we saw in BO2. Morocco looks a bit cartoony though.

Hi Phil, thanks for the welcome. Well I've dabbled in all those types of games and it really depends on the mood at the time. Sometimes I'll want to fire up the Sega Genesis Classics or my Atari Collection and play some arcade and console classics, other days I'll be playing some old first person shooters, I'm playing through PSX Doom Total Conversion at the moment. Although I have Baldurs Gate and Half Life to hand, I would say the last thing I've played that's somewhat similar to Baldur's Gate is an Open Source game called Flare. I'm also a huge fan of Dungeon Keeper and to a more obscure extent, Mageslayer.

I find Gambit has a lot of ‘awww fuck’ moments. Can be quite frustrating at times

Check out arcade club in Bury, we have a meet there next month. Retro heaven.

I played last night with @Nutcuttlit and Marc. Marc had invaded the other team and just as they got their Primeval to no health he got a kill which gave it some health back so we got the win. If I was on the other team I'd have been super pissed 😆 I definitely prefer this mode to any other PvP. Regular Crucible is just annoying.

That’s an annoying mechanic if win only counts ? Do points from bounties still count? Also agree the ranks are too big, seems to take forever to get levelled up. Whilst I am enjoying all bits of Forsaken I do think Bungie have ratcheted the grind up a bit too much in too many places.

While it can be sweaty its not as bad as it would be if most of the sweats didn't got over to PC. Either way, running as a group we can have a good time while completing the quests.

Is be up for it, been working on that quest with no real expectation of beating it. Party up would definitely help. Rank up system is brutal

I'd be up for a regular comp night. Chill out, do 10 games a pop, win or lose I won't care. It seems like there's no quest stages for Luna's Howl that actually depend on winning matches, just pure kills so I'm happy with that. Via the FG App

Nice one Travis, I've always wanted to give more time with the Competitive Playlist but being brutally honest, been worried that people take it too sweaty. We all want to win but if I lose, it ain't the end of the world. Still gotta have fun and I've seen that this playlist shouldn't have to be too sweaty. I know there's quite a lot here that would definitely be up for some Comp PvP play. From the top of my head I'd have thought these people may consider comp play: @crispymorgan @Stretch616 @Bluebear @techno @Amnotright @LordBaguette @SyntaxMonstr @Sofaman @tronic44 There's probably others but I know Competitive PvP isn't for everyone.

Interesting reading the Twitter post you liked, people seem to want the catch up removed I kind of agree, I said it this weekend and teams are deliberately waiting to bank and spawn primevil second to spawn loads of blockers for opposing teams to deal with. I also think there's something fishy with how you dominate a team in first round who then suddenly become pros in the subsequent rounds or vice versa, do one team get harder enemies? Also gambit is too grindy the levels too high or points/bounties are set too low. Im nearly at reset I won't be grinding the second reset
