BR has been around for over 5 years. It may be 'new' to some users but in terms of the wider market, it's a very saturated genre and Blackout is coming in almost at last-knockings. I wasn't expecting much as this game mode has only been in development since this year (cough cough cash grab cough) but even so, I would've expected a bit more in terms of personality, functionality and features considering the budget on these games and the omission of a campaign. PUBG is supposed to replicate more realistic elements - more ARMA than COD/Halo. The mechanics work very well with a keyboard and mouse as they were originally optimised for. COD is arcade, heavily aim-assisted and bullet physics along with recoil is absolutely minimal. Many users who enjoy the challenge that the likes of PUBG brings may not find Blackout very satisfying with more simplified aspects in place.

Last night I contemplated it but I refuse to have any more Windows 10 Microsoft store shit on my PC. That they try and stop you viewing the file location is just one of my peeves. So I saw Gran Turismo Sport on PS4 sale for £15 and got that instead [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

I think it's a brilliant strategy. Why not use old maps? This map is enormous there's plenty of room for original setups. I'd actually be disappointed if they didn't take advantage of these huge maps to bring some nostalgia into the game. Give us some areas we're really comfortable with and some new ones to learn

It's just PUBG with a COD skin. There's absolutely nothing new or original in the game. And I've suffered from the one bullet deaths as well.

Hero moments are definitely back in this game. Just had a quad kill while invading. Way of a Thousand Cuts for the win 🤘

Just a note to the Destiny FGers. Gonna try and spend some time putting up some separate threads up about lots of different activities in the Dreaming City as I think many won't have touched the surface (including me) and it may help all of us look through and find some things to do to party up with other FGers. I'm surprised to see all of these reactions honestly. I guess that's because barely anyone here plays PUBG. I have near 1500 hours into PUBG, along with my squad who have around the same amount of time dedicated. We've been able to keep a top 300 worldwide ranking for months. Got as low as 125 in the world, so you can say we take it pretty seriously. We've all been watching a ton of Blackout streams and we're all buying the game and really looking forward to it. Most of the streamers are all saying how much they love the game and they're not even console players. COD didn't revolutionize BR by any stretch but what do you really expect? BR is like 1 years old and they added a number of things to the game that will make BR even more fun (the perks, the grappling hook, etc). I had very little expectations of either COD or Battlefield making a game that could compete with PUBG but I think COD has nailed it. BF5......not so much. You can say that this is just a more arcade and cartoony version of PUBG but I think it fixes a major issue with PUBG with it's incredibly unathletic gameplay. The movement in PUBG is terrible and coming from a Halo/COD background I can't wait to be able to play a BR game where I can use all those quick-reaction skills (jump turns, drop shots, slides, etc). I dunno, we're pretty pumped about it

Finally getting to grips with this now have a set up I like and last night got the 15 gaurdian kills I needed in 3 games including taking out the full team when I went as invader. Sins if the past and plenty of heavy ammo.

Really was a good crack the other night but also a total eye opener into the intricacies of the game mode. As @GazzaGarratt said, it's more about keeping your cool and sticking to the plan rather than getting emotional about it 🤬🤬

Bunnies seem to be saying the have fixed the powerful engram/ reset issue, so people impacted will get weekly reset for those activities that glitched, tonight. That’s a great effort by Bungie to sort this out quickly.👍

Haha sorry mate! Work and the now fiancé are keeping me extremely busy. Blackout does seem seem to be a lot of fun especially if you manage to get a squad together. Hit detection does seem to be pretty good from what I’ve seen. However it does seem to take a lot of bullets to take someone down so make sure to work on your accuracy. I also seemed to run out of bullets very quickly despite spending half my time picking up bullet packs. The inventory system stem is a sack of shit at the moment and I think they know that.

Time to kill is ridiculous, unless you're getting shot yourself of course, then it's one bullet. Agree with what's been said, it's just COD in a different game mode. What’s people reviews on the onePlus 6 or is it worth waiting to see what the 6T brings to the game. For a phone that hat is half the price of its competitors but near the top for its specs it’s definitely an interesting alternative to the usual IPhone/Samsung nonsense and wallet rip off

The game is awesome currently as is, minus a few niggling things. Player versus player will make it only better if the servers and connections are solid.

I picked up Volume 1 and have been playing the shit out of it. A general FYI... Mega Man X3 can FUCK RIGHT OFF!! I swear, out of all the X series, this one has to be the most frustrating and unfair piece of fucking shit! Fire up up the game and IMMEDIATLEY, every enemy in the game can kill you in 4 hits. Now, compare that to X1 and 2, you at least have a fighting chance. But this crap, I’m talking last stage of Castlevania bullshit. Even when you get the armor upgrades, you’re still getting your ass kicked! So, after many failed attempts, I pushed on and got to the final boss.. Un-fucking-real... If you don’t get Zeros Beam Sabre, you’re pretty much screwed. This bastard will drain your life so fast you won’t know what hit you. So, I finallly... FINALLY kill the bastard... does the game end???? OH HELL NO!! Now, you have to vertically jump up a fucking tube with lava chasing you (insta-kill) and a Mode 7 version of Sigma knocking you off the wall!!! To be honest, I’m surprised I kept playing. But fair warning to you all friends... STAY AWAY FROM X3! 🖕🖕🖕
