That's an understatement. The Star Player Program was one of the coolest things I have ever done in my video gaming life. Complete access to anything at E3, skipping every line. Front row at Orpheum Theater during their conference. A private Ubisoft lounge with all new games in a LAN environment for us. (5 hour AC demo, Division 2, etc) Master Classes, which included NDA game information and private Q&A for each game. Spoke with the CEO, Yves Guillemot for about an hour. Hotel, meal and flight accommodations. Clothes, neat figurines (Being an R6 Star Player I received all 10 Rainbow 6 chibis) Had two dinners with the entire developer crew of Rainbow 6. (Community devs, managers, designers) Free Ubisoft games for anything that releases between June 2018 and April 2019 . (So off the top of my head, The Crew 2, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, Just Dance, The Division 2 )

The FGFGF managed to give a few little gifts tonight. Looks like Sebba @ChaosGladiator will be joining us for a few GTA FG Races on Fridays from now on Also, Mike @Commander_Undies can try out a dozen Steam games, including Resident Evil and Oddworld whilst he's getting a break from LoL Not to mention we also gave some vouchers out through the Fantasy Football World Cup episode we had and we'll start doing FGer of the Month too for at least a year. I'd love to do even more sooner rather than later. I'll see what we have in the FGFGF - I really appreciate every single one of you that gives to it. We wouldn't be able to keep putting smiles on FGers faces if you didn't keep giving. I hope this keeps being a decent installment in your lives.

Right, following the success of the World Cup Fantasy Football, i'm suggesting we do one for the upcoming season but give it a real good push. In previous years about 3 or 4 of us have done it but the football fans out there in FG land would love this so you just need to show your support! We had 11 people for the World Cup, it would be brilliant to get way more than that this time round. If we get large numbers, i'll look to do the same as before and see if we can offer a couple of prizes along with it. No guarantees but people who know me, will know that i'll do my best to do this. I think we'll end up using a free 3rd party Fantasy Football app so it can be easier to manage on the go. I know I could do the spreadsheet again, similar to the World Cup but that would be a ballache for me and I think you guys would prefer something more flashy and interactive. We have a new feature which is FGer of the Month! And the great thing is all of you guys get to suggest one each month so we can take into account what everybody thinks! You'll find the nomination button on the right hand side of the FG website or scroll down on mobile browser. I've decided for at least one year too, each FGer of the month will receive a £5 game voucher. Obviously if we keep getting you generous guys giving towards the FGFG Fund then we'll continue to do these features as its another way of giving back to you guys a little something which is what we're all about. I really hope you all can get behind this new feature - keep giving feedback as much as you can so we know these are things you'd like to see around the place. I'm probably the only one here who cares since I'm one of a very few who have enjoyed the game since day 1, but thought this was worth sharing. NEXT is a huge free update that dropped today; also the game launched on Xbox One. There's far too much to summarize but the biggest highlights are four person multiplayer (you can join anyone's game at any time, regardless of where you are) and greatly enhanced base building. You can also build bases in multiplayer where the host "owns" the base but everyone can build on it. Not really interested in discussing the game's (or developer's) history since that topic has been beaten to death, resurrected, and beaten to death several more times. Winners and Losers of E3 2018 /r/Games Winners: Cyberpunk 2077 anticipation continues at an all time high Bethesda was the most talked about Publisher dominating even though the big announcements themselves contained little detail besides the mysterious Fallout 76 announcement Losers: Anthem didn’t garner much attention or positive reception even with the combined backing of Bioware and EA. Ubisoft — Assassin Odyssey and The Division sequels should have done a lot more but the skepticism of Ubisoft the subreddit seems to be ever-present. Microsoft — For a console, it’s IPs are becoming more and more uninteresting. Leaving very little to analyse too. Overall, all the big hitters happened in the Xbox Conference. Bethesda was the best performing Publisher by way of mystery. Playstation had a subdued one by its standards, but maybe they were holding back for the Tokyo Game Show and Playstation Experience Event later this year. The DPS on this seems to be the best of the best. It is ridiculously OP. People are wrecking Raid Bosses from Leviathan and the raid lairs. D2 now has the God Gun.

Sounds good to me 👍 1 question though. Is it possible to make it so when people vote, they can drop a few words why they voted for that candidate at the same time?

I've got two big money leagues that require my immediate attention. I will see if this is in the cards for me. I try to not do too many because I don't like when my team has players I own in one league against ones I own in another.

Really surprises me that Division 2 is seen as a Loser. My view was it did extremely well and that the Raids will be the dealbreaker in that series. I get that Phil. They clearly get the best prize for most hype for showing pretty much nothing. I want to get hyped for it but I don't really know what i'm getting hyped for, if you know what I mean?

I've sent out a ton of messages to a number of people that have done quite a few raids and are actively playing still so based on their responses i'm hopeful we can put some raids up now. I think it may be easier to stick with 1 inexeperienced player to start with until the pool is larger and we can raise it to 2. If we don't get on like that we can always try 3 or 4 newer people and try one section at a time and see how it goes. I'll dedicate some time to putting some raids up tonight for both inexperienced people but also people like me that are ready to Prestige and Spire of Stars.

I understand the Ubisoft were treating their partners/contributors/content producers etc to a pretty nice experience. Cyberpunk hype has started to grate on me, it's a long way off yet.

Points definitely noted. There's a few comments best to mention in light of this. - I've committed to a year. We can review, usually that's an open review with everyone. - Through coming months it will help us work out what drives most instances. I'm keen that it's just not top poster otherwise people will get put off. It could be because of one special action someone did or an act of awesomeness online that you might not see here. - Top suggested doesn't mean that person becomes FGer of the Month. We get to review this before a person is selected. However, votes have to play a significant factor too. - If you feel strongly someone deserves one, make sure you PM me with the reasons. I won't know everything going on so this is pretty important - I also see this as an extension to the Forever Gaming Feel Good Fund. This way someone is always rewarded with something small and should leave them with a good feeling. That's why its a year too. I'd love it to always but would need to review if we get any further donations over coming months for FGFGF. - I'll nudge people to vote. So should other regulars. This is one step closer to something else I'm trying to do to commend and award people. Hope this helps explain. Keep this type of feedback coming as we can do something with it then. 🖒

Ditch the Rocket League section. The tournaments aren't a thing and we can have it in the general sport games section of posts. The file size for photos is tiny. Think of adding a greater limit for Forever Gaming members. (Not public) I cannot even copy & paste a screenshot of a tweet because the file limit is 71.68 kB.

Oh man....my PMA nearly took a hit then 😭 I agree with step 1. And step 2 - i'll enjoy it for a month...and then some more months after that too Bigger picture here is that this has more potential than most games at present to bring the FG family back together and i think everyone will feel like we game again together again as a larger group, working towards goals as a group, etc.

Salah at the bottom for me. He scored a couple more goals than Kane, but played more games. From midfield that is impressive I admit but he practically plays a sub striker role more than a typical midfielder. The amount of goals they leak is also his responsibility, and last season they let us score 4 in one game. Did nothing in the world cup finals. Finished 4th in premier league. Bottled it in the champions league final. Bale won that game with a bicycle kick and he's not even on the list. Plus he annoyed me his lack of respect to Harry Kane over the phantom goal episode, kept tweeting about it weeks after, so you can see the above is just a bit of prejudice on my part [emoji23] Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

No worries mate. The only reason why I did the spreadsheet for this one was because there was literally no World Cup 3rd party site or app available for free that we could use. Equally, the spreadsheet core forumlas, etc was already set up from a friend of mine at work so wasn't too hard to sort in the end. Just needed to take pics on excel, send them to my email, then convert them so our FG App would recognise them and hey presto! A bit of a faff but i'm glad everyone enjoyed it!!

I said I'd start doing vids at some point so I suppose I should get my arse in gear. It would help if I knew about any particular game folk want to see, or would watch. I thought maybe I could make vids to begin with, of games forumers don't play but would be interested to find out more. Forumers also need to make an effort and watch the content. To that end, I'll start with the games I play most and then games based on feedback. No feedback means no vids. I'll most likely look at the following games for my first vid (but if you have a request, let me know): Hunt: Showdown Arma 3 DayZ Escape From Tarkov Star Citizen I also thought that - as well as doing solo vids - we could do co-ops. Watching some of @Diddums old vids, for example he'd be an excellent partner for anyone. Or the time I played Sea of Thieves with Lee, Lee would be another excellent person to co-op with. Rich and I are playing Raft at the moment, plus Borderlands 2 (which I'm streaming on Twitch) and we'll do something with that footage too.

TP Link ones as they seem the most cost effective ones. I think mine were about 40/50 quid. Not had any problems with mine - however @Diddums or @crispymorgan might say that there are better makes available.

I like videos too. Maybe one day I'll actually come out of retirement and make a new one. I miss watching my PC render for billions of hours.
