This by far is probably the most exciting change in May alongside the huge buffs and changes most exotics are getting. Exotics will now have something similar to Legendary guns that will give people to chase (targeted to the hobbyists of Destiny). First off every Exotic Weapon requires a 'Catalyst' to charge it. It will give you the information on how to do this, some maybe easy, one-off things, others longer and more cryptic. Once charged it will give you a similar enhanced gun to Legendary Masterworks - generate orbs on double kills and kill counter. The bit that will bring out a little more chase to find the info is that then there are further steps, or step for some guns that will give them a specific unique perk to add further dimensions to the gun. This bit is the one that makes me feel like its worthwhile coming back. The perks added are unique to that Exotic. One speculated so far is the Vigilance Wing, the current beast of PvP, gets a Full Auto perk. Finally they are making changes (and not far away either) to add what was missing in D2.

September is definitely the step change for the game. That's been validated by the thoughts from most people at the Destiny Summit (I've put some videos in that thread if you didn't see them). Ultimately this should give us quite a few things to do between May and September but who knows how long it could keep people busy for in that period. For me, I'll be playing, not just because I enjoy the solid gameplay but there isn't really anything out there that answers my PvE itch as Destiny still does. Whilst I know quite a few people hete take the piss out of the game or my positive stances, deep down I know nearly all the FGers want this game to be back to where it was. Not perfect but exciting to play with others.

At one moment yesterday I thought we may only get a few around....and then everyone turned up! Such good laughs yet again although we're all not trying hard enough to adhere to the one rule of GTA Racing - @Diddums won far too many races. Phil the Dick was, well, a dick as per usual. Greebs won races he never raced before whilst Cal's nice as pie approach to not get hit clearly wasn't going to work. @techno Gary with rum is a masterclass at driving. Awesome to see Hector and Hamza make their debuts and royally getting smashed off the track and giving some back too. Oh, and happy birthday Nareet, don't turn to singing. Best of moment of the night for me was watching Biron drop off the lead because he said there's no point leading otherwise I'll get smashed, for then being able to smash his car seconds later! Do you guys enjoy watching the videos that we create for FG? I see many of the videos get views but there's never any comments or reactions. I'd never expect everyone to comment on every single video that gets posted but just wanted to find out whether you guys actually enjoy watching these videos as i love making them? Also if anyone has ideas for videos then i'm all ears! Btw this isn't a waaaa no one's commenting on my videos thread, i'd be happy just knowing you're all happy

I agree that PvE in Destiny is very solid. I enjoy the gameplay but get bored fast when I have done the weekly milestones.

Strange that they terminated the server but glad it is back. I did enjoy the other night, starting fresh is always more of a survival task than when there is a proper base everything set up. Roll on alpha 17 for all the updates too.

The significant difference that Hard Light gets going forward is more to do with matching shield damage types to the damage type switched on. If you match the shield damage on your energy weapon it goes down quicker and you get an explosion bonus around the shield that has been destroyed. Equally, one thing that people glazed over lately is the update to maje enemies harder in this May update includes the change to NOT matching shield and weapon damage types. Therefore it will take longer to get rid of a shielded enemy e.g. An Arc shielded Knight will take longer to break his shield with a Void Energy Weapon. I think Hardlight is also getting other boosts too.

Pro clubs is awesome fun but unfortunately I don't have the funds right now. Definitely down for this in the future though Via the FG App

FYI @phil bottle, as the event is recurring the attendees won't be accurate. (It's why i don't do recurring). If you do it next time, to speed things up I added an 'Add Similar Event' option so if you made it, you click that and it fills everything in bar the new date and time.

Bungie are slowly edging this game towards being of interest . Not sure I’m back in yet but maybe September DLC will be the thing that really gets the game back, hope so

I agree, that was unnecessary. As Pig I often outhealed a Tracer ult, nerfing it only makes it weaker. If anything they should've slightly increased the time it takes to earn it, but even then I'm only saying that because I feel I need to say something, I think she's perfectly fine as she is.

I agree on the Nightfall versatile damage type. I saw it did 222 crit damage but didn't seem to kill that much faster than i.e Positive Outlook or Uriels Gift? But I have liked the Hardlight previously so will be a fond reunion I hope 🙂

I’m up for this though I don’t own too many PC games. Depending on the game though I could buy or if not I’ll join the chat and I can do other PC stuff like FG videos.

There is a demo available on PS4 right now for free so definitely worth picking up and dropping your thoughts on here.

Completely forgot to post in here! AbSOULutly loved soul calibur back in the day, haven’t bought a fighting game in a while so might take a look into this.
