Alright so here's a slightly more in depth version of what I see as the forms of utility available in OW (one hero can fit under multiple archetypes): Defensive Ults | Can prevent a wipe or at least counter offensive ults Fucking Hot Healing Chick!, Zenyatta, Lucio, Moira CC Ults | Combo with attacking ults or shut down an enemy's push Mei, Zarya, Reinhardt, Anti-Flanker | Protects support and vulnerable DPS from flankers McCree, Soldier, Winston, Symmetra, Torbjorn, Junkrat, Mei, Moira Flanker | Sow chaos among the enemy support or get picks from afar to make it 6v5 Tracer, Genji, Winston, Widowmaker, Hanzo, Dave's Spirit Animal, Ana, Sombra, Reaper, Zenn's orbs Protection | Shields the squishies and soaks up major inc. damage/ults Rein, Winston's bubble, D.Va, Zarya, Orisa, DPS/Offensive Ults | Melt down shields and kill shit Tank damage - Reaper, Dave's Spirit Animal, Junkrat, Soldier, Bastion Hanzo, McCree, Doomfist, Pharah, Genji, Tracer, Torbjorn, D.Va's ult Don't really have a name for this additional/optional category, but it basically includes characters who change the tempo of the game and allow you to push or recover: Sombra's EMP, Lucio, Ana's boost, Orisa, Symmetra's teleporter My suggestion is that rather than trying to get proficient with multiple characters in a single category, it's optimal to have 2-3 roles you can fill, so if someone is lighting it up as a flanker one night, you can switch to anti-flank or tank, with no loss of effectiveness

Matters of opinion I see here which we are allowed to have. I read back on a few things and my 2p is as follows: - I've seen lag/ bad connections maybe 2 or 3 times. I've not seen the majority of videos and views but lets not forget, lag is always the answer if we're having a bad round [emoji12] - Words like shambolic, etc, or even broken (to a degree) I don't associate with this game. They're words I associate with games that are barely playable. - War maps are great. I actually think they should have spent more time doing more of those. 50/50 on other maps for me. - Social space. Good concept and nice try but some bits don't work. However, I commend them for trying. Who wouldn't copy and tried and tested idea that works for consumers? 1v1, shooting range and practice kill streaks are all nice to haves that we easily forget. You guys have more knowledge to say where this one lands in Top 10 CoDs but that's a matter of personal choice. Final word - When I see this more of this community playing the game more than previous versions then that tells me its not all bad.

The first update of the year has arrived. Mre than any other game I have ever played, I want this to be good. Dev Update The year of DayZ is here, and the first two weeks of it are behind us. We looked over the state of the game and came up with a selected subset of experimental features that will get us to a playable beta game state as soon as possible. Even with this goal of fast implementation in mind, we understand how critical it is to, after all the time with legacy builds, get the game out in a good state. Making sure that the long standing issues that bother us all the most get fixed for once: performance, stability, cheating prevention, and functional gameplay mechanics. 0.63 Experimental and BETA are still going to represent an Early Access game, so there will be issues. On the other hand, we will also work with a faster iteration speed to fix the remaining issues, to implement remaining content and features from our BETA/Experimental goals, and to go through all your valuable feedback. The past two weeks were spent on actionable items mostly within the player character feature set. After we're done with the new player character, you'll see more stuff done on the infected side of things. The same goes for vehicles and helicopters - once they are working and we have them in some presentable state on 0.63, you'll be the first to know! My guess is that people played WW2, enjoyed BOTG but think that game is shit so wanted to play a decent BOTG COD

Ofc[emoji5] but there isn't mant free games that hold and increase their playerbase like they have. Whilst its not the best game out there by miles, it certainly has an easy pick up and play arcade feel to it and it deserves a lot of credit for hitting the market in the way it has.

You can either download the clips onto and USB, then stick that into a computer and upload it to me via WeTransfer to me. Or you can upload them straight to Youtube and i'll download them from there. The issue with Youtube is the double compression, i've worked out a way to make it looks slightly better but still will never look quite as good. I know not everyone can use the USB method and would never want anyone left out, so will always give the youtube option.

It does it get a lot of discussion eh. I like it but then I play infrequently and - with the amount of early access alpha beta games I play on PC - I'm kind of accustomed to games having issues....and disregarding the issues if the gameplay is good enough. I really wish PS4 had backwards compatbility instead of PS Now. Probably the only thing that Microsoft did right over Sony. If I ever get an Xbox One; I'm going to revist a host of 360 classics probably more than any of their current catalogue of games! It's a superb feature to have.

Mei Also, in re team comp, the way I look at it is that certain utilities need to be accounted for rather than specific roles. The examples of characters aren't exhaustive: 1. Defensive Ult (zen, Fucking Hot Healing Chick!, lucio) 2. CC Ult (mei, rein, zarya, winston) 3. Anti-flanker (soldier, moira, symmetra, torb, piggie) 4. Flanker (tracer, genji, Winston, reaper) 5. Protection (rein, dva, orisa, zarya) 6. Offensive Ult + DPS (hanzo, reaper, McCree) This obviously isn't a comprehensive list, but I think that'll give us more flexibility and let people play around with more characters while still bringing utility to the team.

Is there a short idiots guide on how to do this/set it all up? I'm happy to contribute if it's easy enough to do

Oh,and we need more people to be healers. The better DPS people,whilst good at healers too, hurts the team too much. I suggest people like myself and Greboth that plays tanks more should try Fucking Hot Healing Chick! as she is such an instapick. I hate saying this [emoji12] but if Didds ain't on or Rich to that matter we don't have another Fucking Hot Healing Chick! to balance the team out.

You have every right to say something mate. If we can't be honest here that we might as well stop playing altogether. I think being honest here from my view is that you've come in after people have played a long time with regular characters. As you know, Genji is hardest player to get used to therefore you do need to play with him more. Problem with Genji as a character is that even if any one of us pick him, if we can't utilise him efficiently it can make the team feel like its actually 1 man down. I think its down to his high level of accuracy required and his significant low health. I also don't see him as a regular in most comp teams. Unless you have Diamond+ player that plays Genji constantly. Your Winston I think is coming along, we may need to drop one of us tanks to play him more. I'm cool with that. I asked your specific question a few days ago about right team balancing rather than who we just play regularly. Better for others to answer that one but my only observation is that to keep the 'fun' involved people still need to feel they are playing a character they want to.

I'll be sending across some. I'll try and do it ASAP tonight. And yes, I agree with you just getting even just a 2-3 min video out there regularly. People just need to get into a habit of downloading vids I think. Thats all.

I also found that a few people seemed to have an opinion on which mains I should be using for that specific round without necessarily knowing what I'd be better at, and that list seems to change every time I play with you all on comp, depending on the scenario (usually being that we're losing quite badly). So, either we define a team structure and we decide what kind of mains people need to specialise in, or people shut up and get on with it when we're losing, rather than asking people to change to a different main? Bitching over

James thats an awfully long list, which makes it a bit hard to reply to but I will do my best Connections , you told me to stop going on about connections, then first point in your list is connections. I think of this as lag, I maybe wrong, but every MP will have lag. Unavoidable. Loads fine for me, maybe there are issues on Xbox, but seeing as I hate Microsoft with a passion I see that as a good thing. Buy Sony, don't support the evil empire Animation glitches, I don't think this has ever happened to me, really can't think of an example, maybe I am just too foregiving and unobservant but I haven't seen this. If this is all the glitches then please can we stop saying this is a glitchy CoD. HQ, like I said earlier people post ' ww2 is shit' and then cite HQ as one of the reasons, no effect on game play, just a social space, and actually stuff to do. Actually a positive. Game runs fine with it. Team balance, very occassiionaly you get 6v4 but potentially due to party composition which you can't see ( actually I would like to see this). Back out, problem solved. Can no way be considered game breaking Netcode, tbh not qualified to comment, but in my opinion game runs fine. It's CoD, it's 12 years old and nobody has changed much. Buyer beware! 9 maps is skinny but like I said above, they put War in as well with three big maps, so a lot of development went there. Probably accounts for 4 to 5 maps. Most people seem to like war, a lot. Not realistic to expect war plus 15 maps perhaps? It's obvious there is a trade off in this area, but the critics don't seem to be able to connect these dots. dom points system. If it's taking you 10 kills to get a UAV get your ass on B. Seriously this change penalises those scrubs who run round the edge of the map shooting people who are actually playing the objective. Very positive change in my opinion. no anti cheat on PC, I can't comment, to me CoD is a console game and I suspect any pc player should be a bit wary of any console port, look at the shambles of D2 launch on pc for example Restrictive load out, I actually don't find it that restrictive, and don't have a problem with a developer experimenting in an old franchise league play I haven't tried killstreaks , I have heard this before and don't really get it, it's WW2 remember, no attack helicopters, no jump jets, what actually would you want in Pistol grips, really. A cosmetic item that appears in loot boxes to pad them out. How this makes a list of issues with WW2 is totally beyond me. No impact on game play, no reason to hate. This game must be running totally differently on pc than it is on PS4, in which case we will never agree, but stuff like pistols grips, hq, loadout, killstreaks, Dom points, number of maps v war mode, are just design decisions that some people will like and some people won't like, and the majority will just get on with it.

Almost agree I'd have trouble placing bo2 in a list with the modern warfare series because of how I enjoyed them, definitely my top 4. Bo3 was a fun game but like bo2 alot of us found it had to be hardcore and im not sure why treyarch games suit that mode better. I think bo2 had some great maps and some of the best killstreaks in any cod. Aw and Iw complete dogshit 😁

MW2 and MW3 are still my favourite CoD games. BO1 was shit for about 6 months until they fixed several very big issues, like getting an actual party to work, then it was a decent game. BO2 is the worst CoD I've played along with what ever the fuck the first exo-suit game was called. Fucking bullshit hitmarkers from sniper shots to the chest, getting killed around corners as if every bullet is straight out of that Angelina Jolie movie and some of the most boring maps I think I've played on any CoD. WaW was good for 6 months then everyone and their mothers managed to hack it and treyarch couldn't fix those issues. In the end they stopped even trying once most of the players moved on to the newer games. I didn't bother picking up Bo3 and the other one. If I wanted to fucking jump around like the people in a house of pain music video, I'd go play Halo. But in the end, it all comes down to preference with this, I know a lot of people who love the treyarch games and hate the others and vice versa and it's just about which games they did well on and which they enjoyed the most rather then which game actually worked better.
