Okay, let me bring you all up to date..... After some time in the development stage, the first phase of the build is complete. Greboth has done a really good job with the main layout. All the roofs(?) are on, rooms are at at fitting out stage. Main rooms on the ground floor need fitting out as well. We have a massive cedar, kindly donated by Bart, as a distance focal point at the front and small farm with room for expansion at the rear. We also have a two way rail link to the terminus, part of which goes past someone’s Fishing Store - who’s is it? There is a store/workshop with loads of gear in it which is free to use...if you need anything more valuable PM me and if I’ve got it you can have it (secret stash is part of the fun!) What we need now is for people to inhabit this place, even if it’s only used as a second home, and to help finish it off. I could really do with someone on the first floor windows as I hate trying to get symmetry. I don’t mind helping but setting out does my head in! Greboth and I have done the majority (if not all) of the build between us and I know he’s super busy at the moment, so we could really do with a few people to get this build across the finish line....you don’t need any approvals to do things just try and get the windows and doors based on the existing ones so the outside “looks right”. Anything else, just go for it....it’s communal after all! Pick a vacant first floor room, put your name on it and it’s yours to trick out how you want. Put your comments on the build here and also any questions/suggestions you have To get to the build, take a train from the terminus or use the command line /warp communal It would be fantastic if we could finish this build by the end of 2017 then we can think of something else for 2018

The holiday season is upon us and I wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas! Hope everyone gets everything they want and have a great time with family, friends and lots of good food. I am going to my sisters house and my dad. Celebrating Christmas with them for the first time actually. My mom and dad split up when I was three and can only remember one christmas with him. Lost contact growing up and reconnected after my eldest brother died. Looking forward to it!

I've just starting playing Bad Company 2 again and I forgot how incredible this game was and still is. It had a tough time back in the day coming out when MW2 was thriving but BC2 was amazing for its time with stunning environments and sounds . Visually, it still holds up today easily and although the story was pretty woeful and cutscenes hijacked the gameplay a bit too much; it's still the best BF game for me and one of the best shooters of all time. Still looks incredible for a game from 2010! We don't get FPS games like this no more really.

Why don't we make it an objective for 2018? The worst that can happen is that it falls on its arse and we don't get far. I'm a little like you Dave but that shouldn't stop you or us from thinking about this for next year.

This was 9nly a limited time event but it will be returning Dec 23rd until Dec 28th which I think they will swap it for the high explosive game mode I think having a separate event always running will be great for the game and hopefully they keep it up

Thats exactly how the 50v50 worked. Orginally, I really liked the idea of 50v50 as it brought alot of new ways to play as most people got fed up of automatic match making in squads which resulted in them dying by their own teammates. Haven't played it yet. It messed up the partying up servers initially but it is good to see different events pop in games, its becoming the expected change that every game needs to remain relevant. That being said, would be cool if they brought in a 25v25v25v25 so you could build a fort and play like Command and Conquer days.

Alex had his game against Sam and Rico last night and won 2-0. I was there in attendance as a cheerleader!!

I've been pleasantly surprised by this. I've tried a few other AC games and got bored of them quite quickly. This is a different beast altogether. More of an RPG than anything else. For me, an open world has to have a world where you're happy just wandering about doing nothing but still enjoying yourself. This game has exactly that. Other AC games lacked this. Just don't talk about the first hour or so which was so shit that I nearly quit that game.

BF4 was/is one of the best fps games I've played absolutely loved that game. Bf1 though ok for a short while just got boring though operations was a good addition imo. Hoping for a return to form with the next game.

He may be dead, but is he dead? On which timeline? That's what intrigues me. Especially when the lore to the shotgun hints that we have a lot of interaction with him, which, up until this point, is none. Is that in our future then? Death doesn't seem to mean much when it comes to the universe of Destiny. Toland was floating around on the Dreadnaught, at one point actively begging us to take Oryx's place in the Sword Theory that Hive society is based on, so he was aware of current events (at the time) and not fully dead. Then we have with CoO a really intriguing bit of lore on a ship purported to have belonged to Kabr, saying that the Vex changed him and he changed the Vex. And states that that he was wrong when he made the Aegis, that he is still Kabr. I certainly don't think that Bungie have given Saint-14 an unceremonious offscreen death, far from it. Via the FG App

I love projects like that, but trying to get folks to stay focused on something like that is akin to herding cats
