Explore, explore, explore. The map is HUGE so for me personally look at just taking it all in and go much further out than the spawn. My house is around 1km away SW of spawn. By exploring you will most probably come across an abondoned house that you may want to make your own. If you're worried its someone elses I've asked everyone to share house co-ordinates so you know whos is whos and you can put waypoints down so you know if you're too close to someone elses area. There is a massive area South of spawn if you want to start there? Hope you can work it out how you're hoping. The spawn is great. I checked it out tonight after you got off. I've never seen the logs w/ the buttons in the center to look like metal sticking out. Might steal that idea sometime! I went to the Twilight Forest. All was well. I don't know how to set additional spawn points up other than /home /spawn, those are the only two I have. I have a specific chest in my basement for the railway stuff (rails, carts, redstone etc.). I'd really like to get involved with the railway stuff. Can we try to arrange a time that a decent number of us can get on? It's lovely to log on to find things built, but I can't build in the spawn area and I have no idea what the plans are. I'll start a rail thread too. But after that its going to come down to individuals working their asses off Having done a few projects on this scale in the past, I would say we need to set up a few things before the actual building. We need a resource gathering group. A Mining group to clear out the build areas A design group So there will be overlap here. We will also need a central rail-yard to store all the materials for building supplies of which we will need a massive amount.
