I don't usually do this - some know that I help nudge and remind people that we're still here and I do what I do for all of us but I'm not one to actively go out and ask you all of the following. As we're entering a space of some top games out there right now, I want to have separate sections for all of them as they absolutely feel like they should be warranted, however the sections will need some love....and posts. For specific game sections/forums/videos/quizzes, etc to thrive they need activity. However if no one starts the activity then it won't encourage new people passing by or old regulars to contribute and have fun with whatever is going on. So my ask is to look out for info, ideas, videos, discussion points and post it up in the new game sections. Have an idea for a simple, fun quiz for the game? Make one! The more we help each other, the greater and more funnier this place becomes. I'll do what I can over the next few days but I certainly can't do it on my own. Just signed up so guess I should probably introduce myself... I'm 24, from the UK (Essex originally but now an adopted Northerner) and have gamed for as long as I can remember. For various reasons (mostly revolving around the unwanted responsibilities that you acquire as you age) my gaming time is nowhere near what it once was, but I still jump on the xbox for a few hours a week, normally playing Fortnite or Fifa but will likely (definitely) be adding Black ops 4 and RDR2 to that list. I've typically been a CoD player over the years but the recent releases haven't really caught my attention (I played competitively from WaW to Ghosts so played to a decent standard). Outside of gaming my life pretty much revolves around socialising and sport. I religiously follow boxing, F1 and football and also play cricket, ski, and boxed up until recently. I'm between jobs at the moment so have a bit of extra time, which is ultimately why I'm writing this as I used to have a lot of fun "back in the day" as part of a community. So yeah, that's me, any questions feel free to ask 👍

Don't forget, with the changes incoming with the patch on reset it will mean that Iron Banner will now have 7 Powerful Engrams (from bounties) to chase and all of them will be easier to complete as the objectives are being tweaked. Let's hope we can party up as much as we can to get those bounties

Fortnite cheat YouTuber sued by Epic Games https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-45876864 A YouTube gamer who posted videos of himself cheating at Fortnite is being sued by its developer Epic Games. Brandon Lucas has attracted 1.7 million subscribers to his Golden Modz channel, where he plays modified or hacked versions of Fortnite and other games. He also runs a website where he sells cheats, such as automatic aiming, for more than $200 (£150). "Defendants are cheaters. Nobody likes a cheater," Epic Games said in its legal filing. "Defendant Lucas not only cheats, he also promotes, advertises, and sells software that enables those who use it to cheat," the document states. One of the hacks available on Mr Lucas's website is aimbot, which lets players automatically target and kill enemies without having to aim their weapon. It is only available for the PC version of the game, but offers a significant competitive advantage to any player using the cheat. In Mr Lucas's latest YouTube video he "trolls default skins" - players who may be new and have yet to change their character's appearance. Several other videos in which he used the aimbot cheat have been removed from YouTube following a copyright complaint from Epic Games. Another YouTube gamer, Colton Conter, is also named in the legal filing. In the documents, Epic Games said the cheaters were "creating unauthorised derivative works of Fortnite by unlawfully modifying the game's code". The company told the BBC it did not comment on active legal cases. But it said in a statement: "When cheaters use aimbots or other cheat technologies to gain an unfair advantage, they ruin games for people who are playing fairly. We take cheating seriously, and we'll pursue all available options to make sure our games are fun, fair, and competitive for players." Epic Games is headquartered in the US state of North Carolina. The case was filed in the Eastern District of North Carolina. In October, Epic Games took over anti-cheat software firm Kamu as part of its efforts to tackle unauthorised modifications to its games. In a video called, Golden Modz sued by Fortnite, Mr Lucas said he was not sure why Epic Games had taken action. "I'm confused because there's about a thousand other content creators on YouTube that make Fortnite content," he said in the video, adding that others used hacks "without repercussions".

I’ve unlocked the first 3 so far and haven’t gelled with any of them. I’m sure they are fine in HC but I don’t go into any gun fight in core with any confidence of winning the gunfight

What’s frustrating me atm is that I’m trying to run a core ninja class and just flank and run and gun, but running any smg with a silencer is not really viable when it’s damage is too low and health is too high. I’m not looking for a massive buff but it just needs to be tweaked a little bit

For a gun that is supposed to do fairly well at close range I seem to lose a lot of close up engagements when I run an SMG against AR players

I feel multiplayer has getting worse for me last couple of sessions - either I'm now being fucked by the SBMM which means I'm being matched with sweaty tryhards because of a good recent run of matches, or people are beginning to learn the game better and unlock more powerful shit that you get at the later levels which drastically affects matches. As usual, my teams are usually utter shite - I lost a few matches earlier despite comfortably finishing top each time only to see a couple of twats at the bottom of the scoreboard doing nothing but feeding the opposition easy kills. I seriously hope Treyarch haven't flipped that skill-based matchmaking switch and I'm just on a miserable run of facing tryhards and being paired with trash. May have a breather and stick with Blackout for a bit - had a 5 kill solo game the other day and was unlucky not to win and surprisingly, it feels more relaxed that the frantic nonsense you get in core MP.

So far I dislike multiplayer. Soooo many tryhards about that just grapplehook, kneeslide and jump around like duracellbunnies. Zombies is entertaining, but somewhat chaotic and confusing as the maps are so damn huge now snd there’s always a ton to do. Blackout is by far my favourite so far. Got a couple squad wins yesterday. Best I’ve done is 4 kills if I remember correctly. Shotguns are great for cqc in this mode, but not really needed. My personal favoutie to run so far has been any fully decked out AR with a 3x scope or better and silencer and a DMR as a secondary. Definetly makes it easier with all the open spaces and for putting down squads at a distance. Smg’s aren’t a bad shout either. Had some good kills with those too. Overall I’m not sold yet. The amount of shots needed to put someone down is a joke. The first few weapons you unlock in multiplayer sucks massive donkey cock and you’re better off using the default classes. Spawns are fucking dumb. There’s no other way to put it. I lost count of how many times I spawned only to die within 5 seconds yesterday. Either give us more spawnpoints or give us spawnprotection ffs... In nearly all the objective based games I played we would get shat on round 2 by endless killstreaks and the entire oposing team spawntrapping us without the spawns being flipped. This needs to be fixed or the objective based gamemodes will be unplayable for casuals as any well organized squad will literally gangbang the living hell out of them over and over.

GG last night, peoples. This game is much more fun in a full party. Snipers can go suck a dick.

I finished the driving school today, thought I was doing well on some till I saw @phil bottle times Noticed I need to level some more to unlock all the tracks, so I'll run through the track challenges.

I normally don't give games of this type a second glance, but I thought I'd satisfy some curiosity and I'm so glad I did. This game is seriously addictive and I like games that don't make you jump through flaming hoops, or the gaming equivalent, to earn rewards and experience. I could quote Path of Exile as a bad example of that. I'm not really invested in the story of MS2 at all, but the gameplay, interspersed with mini-games and other tasks you can perform keep me coming back for more. Anyone else here play and what do you think of it?

1 million percent this. Great words Crispy. I'm not oblivious to the fact we all gravitate towards people that we all 'usually' play with but there's no excuse not helping another FGer out. It's equally okay to say no if you have something you're focusing on. Just be helpful where you can for each other. Pat - PM me if you need anything further. On this...I'll do it if we think that's the only way beating Riven but as it pretty much changes the entire final boss fight and how it was designed, for me it doesn't feel quite right. I'm waiting to hear over the next few weeks to see if they have an upcoming patch for it as I don't want to learn it to then find we have to properly learn the Riven fight anyway.

We were once up to 15-20 people so I don't see why we can't get back there. All of us have mobiles, even if you are brand new to the game give it a go!
