  1. I must admit, after playing the beta I wasn't sold on this game. However a few hours in, I can tell that this is a game I'll really be able to get my teeth into. I like the fact it's a high learning curve and you're really forced to work on your position and battle techniques rather than being an awesome rocket boosting battle robot. I haven't touched the game modes with the vehicles yet but I really want to try and get the hang of it this time around as it's a massive facet of the game and I don't want to limit myself. I'm really happy I took the plunge as this is going to be in my go to game pile for quite some time.
  2. Jesus.Fucking.Christ
  3. This is a great way to waste away some time as a party whilst not taking shit too seriously. I really hope they continue with updates like this over the festive period
  4. Way to come off the positive Tree!! In all honesty, I'm happy to wait as long as it takes. Free dlc is a welcome thing for modern games and if it takes a few weeks longer then, meh!
  5. Good game Crispy. A game full of laughable attacking and defending plus me getting bitched at in the background!!
  6. Much love dude
  7. I'm glad I dodged a bullet on this one. I though there was something fishy when I couldn't exactly find the plot and gameplay details 1 day before release. The fact they advertised one thing and gave another is utter bullshit and the only nod to that is the refund route. Such a shame as it had such a good concept. I'd have much preferred to have seen the game delayed even further if it finally launched with all the details we wanted. Another waste of a "AAA" title. However it might be a cool little game to pick up for a tenner or so a month or 2 down the line
  8. Gran Turismo titles have always had huge delays behind them. Personally I don't care so long as the finished product is the racing game I know and love.
  9. Really looking forward to private games and maybe trying to make our own mini games. Plus there's a possibility for another group to be created on gamebattles to have a bash at this. Quite possibly one of the best additions to the game since release
  10. On the back of this, there's been a big patch which is various buff/nerf for 9 characters. I'll try and get text of it and post in here later
  11. Watched a bit of a stream last night and it did look like a bit of a marmite game. I think I'll love it but it's just whether I can devote the time to it
  12. Congrats dude. Really pleased for you dude
  13. That sounds awesome. Really got me excited for this now
  14. I've been reading a bit more on this over the past few days as this has the potential to be an awesome game if done right. One the articles (excuse the paraphrashing) said that it would be virtually impossible to bump into a fellow gamer unless you had their exact star coordinates. So the implication in that phrase leads me to believe that you could team up. The main draw of this game for me is that it is a modern day Elite. I really like the idea of the full space exploration with zero boundaries. Very very tempted to get this on release day
  15. Really happy to see it continue its legacy but I can't see me getting this. It just looks too fast and frantic for me to play, with that said I think enjoy the hell out of watching it
  16. Welcome to the forum dude. Hope you have a good time. Excuse Euan though, he's the "special" one of the forum
  17. Oryx on hard!! We give up after a while on normal. Although I am game for it if we can pull a team together
  18. Game on for this soon? Maybe a wee bit of friendly competition?!!"
  19. Wow, that sounds like a pretty good update. May well be tempted to give this a whirl for 25 quid. Especially as I haven't done any of the content from the last free update. I like the idea of revamped redundant strikes too.
  20. Excited to see what they do with the sequel. The original was a great introduction to fighting games with easy combos and meter usage. Although that was somewhat cheapened by the interactive stage elements. It'll have to go some with the recent introduction of SF5 and MKX still having a decent following to gain a decent market share and potentially the competitive scene
  21. Think I'm the last one left without the season pass now! But considering how many of you have it I'd never get to use the new operators anyway!! Really happy they're continuing to update the game in this manner, this game will have some serious legs if they carry on
  22. Love the Kylebees rage vids!! Plus some of your montages were just awesome! I've just had a look back at mine and found the old T2K montages and a Egg rolls montages. Plus some of my shieldy stuff for good measure!!
  23. Although I'm not the biggest Pokemon fan I've enjoyed the outdoor aspect of this. My lad loves it and will quite happily now go on long walks for his computer time. I love the mix of fantasy vs actual work put in. Plus it appeals to such a wide variety of ages. I just wish there was some kind of fighting thing that could be done at the lower levels. I'm level 8 and don't really have any kind of Pokemon that could compete in the gyms I've seen
  24. I think the key is to use the initial 3 you have on the defending setup time well. If you don't, it's hard to recover due to the cool down and amount of drones needed to make a significant impact
  25. Had a bash with Symnetra(?) last night after properly figuring out how to play her. She can be deadly on the defending team on the payload game type, creates so much havoc for people escorting and also for sealing off choke points for the less tanky players that try to flank. Really enjoying the variety and mastery of the various classes. They really all do feel individuals in their own right playing a massive game of rock, scissors and paper
