  1. Cool. How hard is it to get replacement gear if you were to lose it? In DMZ it's really not that big of a deal in the end. Once you know the good lot areas you just head there and do a mission to get better stuff back
  2. Is it a PC only game. Looks like the only way to get it is to get the download (beta) on their site. DMZ keeps being compared to it. How does it compare?
  3. Really. I didn't think they could once you are out of the building. Your idea is pretty good too, however you have to allow for the time to clear and the risk of failure. My suggestion is to have an helicopter ready and waiting after you do what you got to do. Got to try it a few more times to see
  4. I am not sure I understand your question but if a person tries to invite another operator the person from the squad the accepts it added to your squad. Other members need from the other squad to see the invite and accept as well. Otherwise they remain enemy operators It think I read that you have to be within 50 meters for the invite to be seen. So if all members of the squad were to send an invite and you were spread out it would be viable to invite 3 people for 3 different squads I believe. Although unlikely When I see I squad, I just send the invite which can be dangerous as they will know you are close by. However I tell them to accept or I will snipe them. If they don't I snipe one and tell the remaining ones to accept and they can revive their buddy. If they shoot back, no mercy. I would say it works 90% of the time. There is little advantage to killing an operator (except for some missions and a calling card). There is a huge advantage to squading up as 6 people to do any of the missions is a huge advantage.
  5. Mulitiplayer stats - 5 days and 54 m so about 121 hours - Games played 782. I play DOM, KC, Hardpoint and TDM if I really really have to. - W/L 1.13 - highest KS 25 - Highest K/G 61 I'd say I play far more than just bots on DMZ (which are a hell of a lot tougher than players on MP most of the time). Additionally all co-ops completed Raid completed (not worth it) DMZ no idea as they don't keep stats but almost all tier 3 missions done and got the M13 WZ I think I have something like 40 games. Not sure
  6. I have had it happen of times. I might have noticed it more when I was with squads doing the RobinHood mission. Seems like the all appear pretty close when that happens. You can get your 100K pretty quick that way
  7. Well again that just not really the case Control has some new maps. You don't play it. But the content is there Ground war has some new maps. Again you don't play it. Fair enough but there is content Co-op has a number of maps missions. I assume you play that either, but someone did develop it The Raid has a new map. I assume you didn't do that either Those are all part of the paid for multiplayer experience. You can chose not to like. You can chose not to play it. However the content is there. It's just not the 6V6 content you want. People bitched for years about COD not innovating. So they gave us control/grounwar (which is a rip off of battlefield) They gave us co-op. Which I would agree sucks. I would much rather have zombies They gave us the raid, which I have not tried but someone sat down and created it. If I don't play it, that's on me You keep bringing up vanguard. Who the fuck played more than 10 hours of vanguard on this site. I bet the number are way lower than MW. I didn't play after I uninstalled the Beta. It was garbage I played a shit load of zombies on Cold war. I think I might have played 3 maps and then I couldn't be bothered. With the exception of satellite they were awful. Satellite wasn't all that great either. I don't even know how many maps they had. I know they had nuketown which is spent a lot of time on to level up my guns for zombies. I played a lot of co-op on MW. I actually liked it better than MP. I don't know if I could name two maps WWI of whatever it was called was garbage. I didn't play That's all the studios. That 4-5 years of COD. If you find it insulting, don't buy the game and fucks sakes stop the bitching with every single one of you posts. You got to be one of the most toxic individuals I have ever seen. Every game, every situation is the same fucking thing. Bitch, bitch, bitch
  8. That's pretty much what cod mobile is like. All of the most popular maps in one place. Nice thing is that it's all the maps. So you get nuke town, rust, shipment, shoot house, sky scraper and so on. I was playing that before MW 2(022) as it was a lot more fun that Vanguard or black ops. I found there were too many people that didn't buy a pack or another and you had to uninstall them anyways
  9. - There is a glitch for safes and weapons stash. If you all wait to open the safe/stash and open at the exact same time, everyone gets the total loot (so loot x3). So yesterday I was rolling with a co-operative squad. We waiting until everyone can see the open safe (x on xbox) counted to 3 and open simultaneously. We all got the stuff. It work 3 out of 3. - If you extract the hostage and dump his/her ass by the helo. You can go and do a some missions and come back to an helo waiting for you. You don't have to rely on the extract points. Someone might camp you or booby trap but it does work
  10. I am ok with them taking from Warzone maps and making smaller maps from it to play 6vs6. I am actually in favor as you would have experience with the map if you play DMZ or WZ. It is something that the could do from day 1 however. It's too bad the terminal map and observatory is not being made available as they are great DMZ maps. Oh well I guess I'll continue spending my time in DMZ
  11. wonder if that means they are wiping the weapon case progress. Seems like not which means that the bioharzard skin is still within reach
  12. Well activision reported their earnings a couple of days ago. in it they report Monthly active users. Now there is no way to tell which activision game is being played, but the numbers indicate an increase for the quarter in which MW2 was released (as were many other games) Dec/2021 107M Mar/2022 100M Jun2022 94M Sep/2022 97M Dec/2022 111M So if I am them, I am not reaching for the panic button yet as number of monthly users has increased 18% from Jun. I guess we'll see when they announce the next quarter if that holds or not. Additionally they say Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II delivered the highest opening-quarter sell-through in franchise history At the end of the fourth quarter, cumulative hours played were the highest in franchise history for a premium title at this stage of its release. They do mention the Warzone has slowed down; "Year-over-year engagement growth in the free title has moderated following the launch"
  13. Good to know. Hopefully no one tries to capture it after doing all the work. I was think the only was to have a squad member at 3 different sites and co-ordinate the capture.
  14. Shipment is brutal if you go in with a "non-competitive" setup. If you try the handguns for example and everyone is running SMGs and LMGs you are going to get trashed. That's why I prefer picking game mode. For example KC for pistols since you got to keep moving. Dom for range weapons like battle rifles, snipers, markman If you mind dying a lot shipment is probably the fastest. Now that it's combined with shoot house I tend to avoid it. I just can't get a decent shoot house game. So I play a game mode and get the map rotation instead.
  15. I had regular
  16. If interested, it takes 40 shots from the XMR sniper rifle to bring that helo down. We got pin down by it the other day and that what it took for to get rid of the dam thing.
  17. Kind of a douche bag moment but I am quite ok with it Spawn in with randoms by the airport. We do a few contracts successfully and things are going well. Team mates gets killed in a hard area. I get ride a bunch of enemies and one get me in the back while I am resurecting that team mate. 3rd team mate kills remaining AI and decide the look at my loot and take my insured weapon and then resurects me. So I think, don't get mad get even. I wait time and as we are make our way to extract he gets downed. Perfect. I wait until he dies. Take my insured gun back (taq-56) and steal his insured gun, his 3 plat vest and his kill streak. I then revive him and he is pissed. He is shooting me with the AK that I dropped. Trying to get my attention and I ignore him We get to extract and call it in. An enemy team is there and pushing. I get rid of a riot shielder. i was lucky to have a drill charge. I get rid of a regular guy. The Taq-56 with 3 plates was no match for him. 3rd had kill the guy who stole my gun but decide to run away. Other guy is on the helo. So I left the thief and we extracted without him. Made sure to tell him not to steal team mates stuff. On a positive note, found out that if someone picks up your insured weapon and then you pick it up again it becomes a contraband item. So its a way to create an extra "slot" at the end of the day if you want to have additional access to that weapon
  18. Congratulations. Got love it when it all comes together
  19. I don't feel the need to defend these companies at all. What I can't stand is all this whinny ass cry baby shit from people I doubt were ever responsible for a multi billion dollar product line and calling the people who do it dumb and greedy. I think it's in my PPR that I have a PHD in electrical engineer and I work for the Intel network communications group. I designed the first graphics chip with integrated analog circuits , I designed the first north/south bridge CPU, I designed and validated the first PCIE switch with broadcomm . Now I designed the ASICs that went into Nokia/Ericsson/ZTE 5G network architectures and I see a bunch a people posting on what developer and companies should be doing and how as if they had a fucking clue. Even James telling us all about patents. Somehow I am pretty confident in saying that he doesn't any of own however. If you want to make a point to these companies the solution is simple, don't buy the product. COD 2022 made $1B on 10 days on a budget of $250. They're clearly not the dumb ones
  20. Needed to do a squad hunt contract for the black mous missions. I usually don't like to kill other operators if I don't have to but in this case I had to. I got the perfect spawn at the airport. I picked up the contract. My team mates were idiot running around getting themselves killed. I revived one of them 5 times. I finally just left them as they were a liability rather than asset. I get the mini helicopter that is at airport and start flying in the direction of the squad. They must have panic because they are all over the place according to the map. I am low on full so I go gas station to refuel the helo. As that is happening, I get a notice that the squad got downed elsewhere and my payment is authorized. Awesome, mission done and contract done. I look for a safe extraction point. Fly over and extract. Extraction streak goes up to 5. Sometimes the stars just align for you
  21. For the squad hunt contracts, you don't have to actually kill that squad personally. As long as they go down you get the credit For the black mouse mission, you don't have to extract with the weapon from the squad hunt. As long as you extract with an enemy weapon you will get the credit for the mission
  22. Seems pretty brilliant to me. What's dumb is paying $70 for a game that only has 9 maps and continuously complain they have a multiplayer with only 9 maps when they do that every single year instead of just going to play the other modes and have fun with it.
  23. Was in Rohan Oil and another team showed up and decided to be friendly. We became a team of 6 and went into the restricted area. Made easy work of the AI and got some good valuable loot Had lots of cash on us so we became targeted in the hunt squad contracts. 3 guys show up trying to kill us for the contract. Had no Idea there were 6 of us. We wiped them. Took their stuff. Decided to exfil. Got a couple of LTVs from different buy stations and machine gunning anything in sight. Again Hunt squad. Trio shows up. Gets wipe and kids start screaming about 6 vs 3 how did we do that. That isn't fair. Total rage. So I went over, stole his stuff. tea bag him and told him that attacking 2 LTVs with machine guns and 6 guys is a real dumb thing to do if you want to live. Exfil is now too far, we see a rescue hostage contract so we decide to do that. Storm the house as a team of 6 with top end gear a that point. Rescue the hostage exfil. Super fun when teams team up. 2nd place. the other team a dumbass team mate decide to run off. Gets himself killed by a squad. He had no mike so I have no idea. I run over to revive him. I see the trio is standing over him in a corner looting his stuff. I lob two molotovs their way and they get burned to a crisp. So we took their stuff and left. I love wiping squads that attack unprovoked
  24. It's rather unfortunate that DICE can't get the shit together. The last good release that I can remember was BF3. BF4 took about a year before it was stable and could run. Once it did, it was pretty amazing. Everything was downhill after that. I don't think they had a hit since. Every BF since, I did the beta and uninstalled mid way. Don't remember if 2042 had one, I know that didn't even bother since the buzz was so bad
  25. From the PC gamer article It should be said, however, that it's always easy to find COD players complaining about something, and there's plenty of more reasoned reaction too: Not least because server wipes are common in games that are like DMZ Escape from Tarkov which resets everything roughly twice a year " Either way the wipe is coming February 15, so get ready for much wailing, gnashing of teeth, and Youtubers with aghast faces asking "Greedy Activision did WHAT?!?" Sounds familiar.
