  1. Well I guess that is a comment in itself which supports what luseth has to say. That gets much harder however once you have two kids and do everything you have to do as a parent. My 26 year old son is the same. He has a license however. My daughter no license either. Both are downtown dwellers so there really is no need for a car. Hardest thing is groceries and everyone delivers these days or UBER it back home
  2. I don't disagree it requires a change in mindset. However for that a good system is needed as people already have it good in terms of moving (although the environmental impact is bad) In Ottawa - Busses have their own bus lanes, so the traffic impact is minimal - We have an LRT. It's ridiculously unreliable. So much so that there was a provincial enquiry into it and the Mayor and City manager were accused on incompetence. - The city had recently invested $6B into that system and yet you cannot go North/South using it. Only east/west. There are a lot of people south including our Airport. However money is going in but the results are not what people want/need - The system is designed to take people from suburbs to our downtown which is where most federal/city employees and the 2 universities are located. That's great for that group. Horrible the others. There are of the others. - With people's busy lives of dropping off the kids, going to work, picking up the kids, taking them to Hockey/Soccer/Karate, going home, cook dinner, do the homework people are just not willing to sacrifice that extra time to bus it. You get a hell of a lot done with those two extra hours a day. I think the ideal scenario for us would be that your first insure vehicle should have to be an zero emission/Hybrid vehicle. Most people have two cars or more anyways. Then you can get whatever you want. I think in this country it would have a impact without changing people's lifestyle too much. Most people have relatively short trips where they can charge daily.
  3. Good to know, yah to 50 battle rage kills are driving me nuts
  4. Often enough for it to be a problem if I had only 1 vehicle. My wife's family and our son Live on Toronto and we are in Ottawa. We probably make the trip 8-9 times a year. So I need something that can carry 3 adults and a mid size dog (which is one of the reason for the SUV). My biggest problem is lack of a "personal" station. Like I said getting one would cost me $35 That's something the doesn't work that well in America again. The public system is quite poor and most companies are now insisting on a hybrid model where you need to go in 2-3 times a day. For me to bus it to work requires 90 minutes 1 way. To drive requires about 20. That's to go between two major suburbs 20 km apart. People just don't to spend an extra 2 hours a day on the bus if the can avoid it. They if you miss on you have to wait another 20 minutes. There's usually ample free parking and gas here is $1.4 a litter so people drive. Not great for the environment but I can understand why people do it. I live in the Capital, so you would think the public system would be top notch. Smaller cities are even worse. San jose was pretty similar. To go from our place to Intel headquarters was 11 minutes by car (6 miles) and about 70 minutes LTR/bus
  5. I liked the technology but they are over priced in Canada in we lack the charging infrastructure. To get a charging station in our Condo is $35K. Most parking spots in Ottawa/Toronto/Montreal (which are major cities) have 2-4 charging station for 500 spots. Most gas stations and rest stops do not have charging stations so you cannot charge your car In Canada where it gets to -25C regularly in the winter and the distances between cities can be quite long (over 400 km between Ottawa/Toronto) your car might not have the range to get you there. The need to fix that before it can become viable if you have a single car or all EVs. I would have no problems with getting one if they could get me a place to charge it easily
  6. Cold war I got to prestige 5 or 6. Played a lot of zombies, soloed everyone of them. I got to round 100 with a few players. Great fun. Unlocked all operators and guns and a number of skins Vanguard had nothing I liked. So I didn't play technically. However a played a fair amount of Warzone. Unlocked everything possible without the MP game which I never got. Had all the guns and a number of operators. Not once however did I complain about those games or the developers that put it together How's shipment 24/7 working out for you?
  7. Well the way this guy died and kept getting his ass handed to him I can see why he would care about lack of kill cams and complain about worse cod ever. I guess when you can't beat them, you go play destiny against AI
  8. Instead of complaining about that , just don't get killed. Duh 🙂
  9. Maybe I never noticed then as you would need to extract with it and that really happened to me in building 21. At one point I had 5-6 of them and they seemed to be getting used up
  10. It was like that before, there was also the blue and red card for certain areas. What's changed?
  11. I did two but by pure luck. I called in the SAM site first and we managed to survive. Once that was done, the choppers can come and attack you. Luckily the same site was very close to the extract point
  12. Well I tried it and didn't like it The guns and attachments you can use are limited as are the perks. For example no thermal or silencers You only get the predator as a KS The connection wasn't that great. Maybe due to a small player base I also really wonder why some players decide to play this. Why do rank play if you aren't going to go for the objective and just hide in a corner to get kills. That's what MP TDM is for. All the modes are objective based
  13. Yah that map hard. I think you need a good squad to succeed there. I did do a few extractions but there is little loot from what I saw. I tried to do the gas can one. There are only two fuel stations and none had the cans. Could not find vests either. Backpacks are not a problem. Will take time to get use to it
  14. So much for the balancing uh? Did you try the new map? Those are insane. I think you need a real good squad to make progress with those. Will see with the missions are like.
  15. Nevermind blackops Use the COD mobile. It exists for multiplayer and battle royal and it seemed popular enough each season. They had pretty good rewards in terms of skins and blue prints so that was the incentive to play. If I remember right the skin was for BR and the blue print for MP. I think you had to get to gold to get it so it wasn't ridiculously hard. You got a picture frame (calling card) to reach the top tier. Mobile is about the integrate WZ2.0 so it would be a good time to sink up the two
  16. Anytime
  17. Well Karen, if you paid attention you would ask yourself what the hell is a playist. We all know what a playlist is, but a playist? Also competitive is 4x4 and not 6x6 so a top player only has to carry 3 sorry asses instead of 5 The "playlist" is also limited to hardpoint, control, S&D according to the announcement (I hope that's wrong and there is actually more than that).
  18. That's how cod mobile worked. First time you start at the bottom. presumably you progress to something better your rank for next season is established for next season, however there is a max which I think is gold If you pass on the season, the next season you start at the bottom again The biggest problem was that once you got to the high ranks, getting a match was hard. There weren't enough players to match up quickly and that was top tier gold. So I just stopped playing it
  19. It's to remind all the nuckles heads hiding in the basement that they better remember to get their moms something or else they will have to make their own macaroni in cheese
  20. The most efficient way to level up the battle pass is the shortest game possible. BP leveling had nothing to do with your own leveling in season 1. I tried to compare and I agree. A KC match is 10 minutes at most. DMZ is 25-30 minutes and yields less progression but more XP
  21. I might try it. I like hardpoint and Control. S&R not so much. I did a lot of rank play on COD mobile and it was fun. Will see if they pull it off. Nice thing about it is that people won't be able to complain about Skill based matching. This is inherently skill base matching
  22. DMZ Al Mazrah. I went to see how the new changes affect things and see how things are balanced. Then I want to see what I need to do in the path of the Ronin to unlock the crossbow Depending on the battle pass I might play KC to quickly rank up the pass or maybe shipment if available
  23. "Coincidental placement", Sure it was. It wouldn't be making the news everywhere had it been placed next to a football stadium
  24. Kind of late to this party by we have A white 2019 BMW M550i A red 2020 toyota highlander for the Canadian winter.
  25. They were cleaver about the campaign. You could get a reward for each chapter you completed which would help with MP. Double XP, blue prints, operators.
