Trailer released with game expected on November 15th on all platforms. Lots of hacking, of course and looks like they'll try and take advantage of the recent news around hacking to promote the game. I still can't see much of a justifiable reason why this game is worth more than a tenner after the awful predecessor.

This is just plain strange to me. It was first thought that to access the whole Multiplayer mode early, go to the Buffalo Wings restaurant and they'll give you tickets for eating there. EA have clarified the situation that eating wings won't get early access, as you can get tickets simply by playing the game however you can pick up additional tickets from Buffalo Wings - so in effect you can probably play it slightly earlier for a plate of wings. I bet the healthkick organisations will have a field day with this.

These are brilliant Rob, thanks for sharing. What's the main difference between the tv show and the games/this? Ash was a bit patronising however I would still enjoy watching episodes probably because it's all I've ever seen.

untilHey people! Following the success of the last private match night we've talked about making this more a permanent theme. So, let's have a get together on Wednesday night and take it from there. If we can all find a common night or two to play I can start putting these in the calendar more regularly. Green guns, punches only, swords and supers, infection, traditional 6v6...We'll do our best to play them all and have some fun. See you then FG Guardians!

Looks superb and some great little moments in there. Seems worth a punt.

I didn't realise when I posted this, we'd completed the main storyline Have you done all of the quests Sam? I still have a number of quests open so I still feel there is plenty to do, but I'm abit gutted there may not be more cutscenes. Also, Didds and I ran the Sepiks Perfected Strike. I expected it to be different but not too much....the fact that most enemies spawn in exactly like the normal sepiks strike just let me gobsmacked.

FIFA 17 PS4 Demo Live today and thoughts
GazzaGarratt replied to GazzaGarratt's topic in Sports / Racing / Beat Em Ups
I'm seriously considering getting both. I enjoy the gameplay and master league mode for PES, however the Pro Clubs on FIFA have a definite pull to it. Even more so because there could be a decent amount of us that can play on the same side. Both games aren't worth £50 though imo, i really do struggle to part with that sort of money for games which both lack in certain departments. -
Quest info, courtesy of Reddit and Gary (Wapntake). Saves some time if you still have your original one in the vault. STEP ONE Either breakdown one of the Khostov's you saved from when you rolled a new character to obtain the schematic, or: Go to the Plaguelands Patrol Head to The Divide. See this video Go through the building at the back The Divide (the one that you originally came from at the very start of the game). Follow the path all the way until you reach the area where you ghost found you right at the start. You'll see a large Ketch (Fallen Ship) in the distance, run toward it, board it, kill the enemies, open the chest at the back right to discover the Schematic. STEP TWO Talk to Shiro at the Iron Temple Head to The Divide as you did above. Go to the back left and through the room that originally took you to the Devils Layer strike. The area has been updated visually, so don't let it confuse you. It's one straight line. Keep going. On your way you'll see a Triangle Marker appear indicating you need to pick something up. This is WEAPON PART ONE. Once you have this, keep going forward until you reach the area with the Fallen Tank from the Devils Layer strike. WEAPON PART TWO is next to the main central building in this area. Again, it will be indicated by a Triangle icon. STEP THREE Head to The Divide the same way as before. As if you were heading toward the Earth Patrol spawn point, head through those tunnels. WEAPON PART THREE is in the middle of this tunnel area, again indicated by a triangle. That's it. You'll have all parts. Thank the Iron Lord Go back and talk to Shiro accept the mission kill the major and enjoy your Exotic.

Thanks Chris for sharing ----------------------------------------- Iron Ghorn This quest line was a doozy. To start it you need to look for a recon patrol beacon in Archons Keep(The symbol for it will be a ghost) Before following it make sure you have picked up a splicer key. they can drop from killing brood mother wizards while on patrol. Once you follow it you end up picking up a relic(the hammer) and having to fight off a SIVA Fallen Walker inside of Site 6. Once he has been defeated you have to scan the Iron Medallion that was behind him. After completing this step you have to speak to Tyra Karn. She then asks you to find more Iron Medallions. There is one in Felwinter peak and one in every patrol area of the Plaguelands. I'll post screenshots in a little while of the locations. They are not hard to find because your ghost points them out for you, but if you're having a hard time locating then you can ADS with a sniper. (Screenshots below) Once you've completed that you go to Banner Fall and run around scanning archives, a library and blueprints. Once that is complete the towers defense systems go off and alert you that you're under attack by Fallen. At this point a bomb is put on one side of the map and you must defend the area. It's a lot like defending a Warsat but much smaller area and a lot of exploding shanks. Once the ghost disarms the bomb you must do it again on the opposite side of Banner Fall. After both the bombs are done you fight a giant fallen captain with the help of the banner Fall defense system. You then return to the cryptarch and she asks you to find 5 pieces of SIVA cluster. I used the Megathread to find the easiest five. After that you are asked to go back to Earth and find the pieces to create the ghorn. It starts in the Steppes as you clear enemy Fallen and dodge slow mines and it ends up on the Frontier map from crucible. Here your ghost is in a room with Ghorn trying to reconstruct it while you fight off waves of fallen with the occasional elite captain with a scorch cannon. If you thought defending the bombs was challenging this level has many more enemies coming at you from different sides. It's fun and intense to do solo if you're looking for a challenge, otherwise go with a fireteam. After fighting them for what feels like forever you receive the Y1 Ghorn at 350 LL. At this point you can leave it like that or infuse it into the Iron Ghorn. Immediately after you are ordered to clear out the remaining enemies, to so this they spawn in a ton of heavy ammo crates so you can go wild with your shiny new rocket launcher. You'll have to fight off some SIVA Fallen dregs, walkers, and dregs on spikes. Easy pickings for a Ghorn. The quest was really intense, I had to solo all of it and it really gave me a challenge. If you feel like the story was too easy give this a shot without a fire team and you'll be sweating. Edit: Locations of the 7 medallions. Felwinter Peak This one is the easiest, at Felwinter peak you climb the makeshift rocks and it will be at the top. Lords Watch Immediately upon landing in patrol on plaguelands it will be in this room Giants Husk Upon entering giants husk head to the right and climb up the mountain onto the overpass. Once on it the medallion will be hidden in some creates on the right side. Archons Keep. Passed Giants husk there is Archons Keep, go until end where it splits off to Forgotten Pass and towards the Archon Forge and it will be here. Forgotten Pass Once in forgotten pass head towards the end of the bridge and it'll be on the ground. Bunker As soon as you enter the bunker area head towards the left side and stick to the left wall. Fight off some fallen and it'll be next to an open room. Site 6 From Archons Keep head towards the forge and keep going into the warrens, you'll be in a tight area and once you come out move forward while fighting fallen and it'll be to the left. Edit: Cleaned some things up, added the Giant Husk location, added how to star the quest and some tips to help find the medallions. Good luck Guardians.

Just done some of the first quest and Im really pleased with it. Storyline and cutscenes are well presented and missions are so far enjoyable. Hoping it's more to come over the first month.

I think he works effectively when we all want to rush into a room. As a player who doesn't play shield, I'm starting to enjoy when Montagne is being picked rather than Blitz, I think there more strategies that could be applied to him in certain situations.

Will be looking to do some tidying up this week. Please shout if you want to keep / change / remove / add anything you think. We do need the feedback. After speaking to a few people we'll look at moving the RPG subforums as all 3 aren't played by the community of late. I've been thinking of us having a Racing subforum in Sports, as it may help newer members see the posts within there. Could easily do the same with Beat em ups too if people desire it. If anyone has any games that they feel deserve its own subforum can you please add your feedback here. We'll add them in! Thanks all Lee -
Such good fun tonight people! Great laugh doing all kinds of stuff (Supers, Punches, Grenades, No weapons, swords, infection) A few things stood out. We can make this a weekly thing on a Monday night. Whoever is on it is private party time after most of the weekly content has been done. Most were up for it tonight so I can set up a regular event up so we can add our names to each week if we're on or not. Ending on a traditional team deathmatch would be epic. Traditional PvP styles as we normally would. Lastly, to keep it fun each week, to buy the green guns on sale from the Gunsmith that Monday night and only use them. Tonight was a dirty hand cannon with machine gun. Hilarious fun and we could do so much with these games now. Great start to the week!

If you had the chance, what would you change now Season 2 is upon us? I'd like to see some existing maps tweaked so on a Competitive game the points or game modes rotate. Hanzo feels OP, even though I can't get him to work for me. I'd like to see his hit box get slightly smaller. Winston could do with a buff on his primary weapon, he doesn't seem to have enough impact with just his ultimate. I also think they should look at the speed of some characters. Whilst I get Roadhog and Reinhardt are massive therefore slower, I just think they are far too slow to get back into battle.

Battlefield 1's Premium Pass and First DLC Expansion Detailed
GazzaGarratt replied to The3rdWalker's topic in Shooters
Battlefield 1 will release a new map for free 2 months after release, EA have confirmed. This will take the maps upto 6 in total on the base game. I can live with that. Here's the description of the map from EA: "Prepare to take part in the Battle of the Selle in the cold autumn of 1918. Here, the fighting moves out of the trenches and into open country where a massive crashed airship casts its shadow onto the battlefield. The British forces have broken through the Hindenburg line and are now in pursuit towards an important railway center. Fierce infantry and tank engagements ensue on the open ground and river banks alongside the Cateu-Wassigny railway where an armored train can still turn the tide." -
Given how teams are adapting to the resurgence of standard lanes, Riot has shared the love with some old favourites (Miss Fortune, Lux) while reigning in some of the notorious powerhouses (Vladimir, Gnar) in order to give the competitive scene some room for experimentation. The Worlds meta usually forms over the course of the tournament itself, but patch 6.18 aims to give team’s greater diversity with their picks. So what major changes in patch 6.18 will greatly affect the upcoming tournaments. Gnar: the Missing Link Riot has hit Gnar hard with the nerf gun and is surprising considering his win rate isn’t that high (47.29%). However, his ability to prey on tanks and shut down most forms of aggression has made him a prime target. The cooldown on his Hop has been increased and remains unchanged at rank five, while his passive damage has been lowered by five at every single rank. Lastly, the changes to Frozen Mallet have indirectly affected both Gnar and Yasuo who greatly benefited from damage spike and tankiness they received. Frozen Mallet made both champs very hard to kill and escape from, especially with Gnar’s proc from Hop/Crunch. Frozen Mallet is still a worthy investment, but the combination of nerfs will likely affect his popularity in the upcoming tournament. Ashe: the Frost Archer The high levels of communication we see in the competitive scene allow athletes to provide the peel and co-ordination the Frost Archer needs to thrive. Her Enchanted Crystal Arrow provides so many opportunities to catch and lock down opponents, while her team can easily follow up and kill those frozen in place, making her a highly contested pick. The cooldown on Volley has been increased at lower ranks and just by one at level five. This nerf is clearly tailored to her laning phase as her harass with Volley in a poor matchup can be too strong. The nerf to Volley makes it a bit harder for Ashe to get through her laning phase which is understandable considering she scales well late game. It’s certainly not the biggest nerf in the world, but it does tone her damage down enough so that other champs have a fighting chance. Ekko: the Boy Who Shattered Time While Ekko’s ‘pure defense’ shenanigans are no longer as strong as they were earlier this season, the Boy Who Shattered Time is just as effective when it comes to sticking to his targets. His base attack damage has been lowered to 55 from 59, but his combination of Trinity Force and tank items still remain strong. This small nerf won’t affect Ekko’s overall success in top lane and we will more than likely see the boy wonder being picked at Worlds. Taliyah: the Stoneweaver Taliyah’s ability to impact other lanes has made her a contested pick in competitive play as her ability to roam, push lanes and exert map pressure is unmatched. To counter this, Taliyah’s Threaded Volley no longer deals 50% extra damage to minions which will slow down the speed of her clear and force her to use more of her abilities to push lanes. Unravelled Earth’s damage has been lowered by ten at rank one and up to thirty by rank five. This will make her mid game power slightly weaker and will stop her from simply going to other lanes and just killing any target that happens to get caught. Taliyah’s roaming will now require more setup which will give her opponents more opportunities to force her to stay in lane. These nerfs are fairly big and will hopefully lead to more champion diversity at worlds as opposed to every single pick revolving around the countering Stoneweaver. Rek'Sai: the Void Burrower Another popular pick is receiving some much needed tweaks and this time it’s to the Void Burrower. Rek'Sai’s is a favourite pick in both solo queue and competitive play, largely due to her strong ganking potential, great initiation and brilliant map presence. Riot has reduced her base armour and armour growth stat so that her jungle clear is not as healthy, providing a greater deal of risk when it comes to ganking. Shen: Eye of Twilight The Eye of the Twilight has always been the strong, silent type and his strengths usually go unnoticed. Shen’s laning phase is very potent thanks to the damage scaling with Twilight Assault, while his shielding negates all damage from enemy auto attacks. The Kinkou Leader can also help his teammates with his Stand United ability, which gives him insane amounts of global map pressure that can be hard to play against. Put these abilities into a competitive environment and you have a recipe for a ridiculously strong champion that can support his entire team. Shen’s passive has been lowered and the damage on Twilight Assault has been reduced in order to stop him from dealing heaps of damage in the late game when he’s extremely tanky. Yasuo: the Unforgiven Yasuo has been tearing up the Rift since the last patch and has greatly benefited from a bug fix to his ultimate. However, the wandering samurai has become infamous among players due to his combination of mobility and tank items. This allowed the Unforgiven to maintain his high damage output while granting him the added durability he normally lacks. The combination of Trinity Force, Frozen Mallet and Infinity Edge made him an absolute pain to deal with in top lane. Riot have now decreased Yasuo’s attack speed per level, while Last Breath’s bonus armour penetration only applies to his critical strikes. These nerfs are aimed at decreasing his overall damage output and allow him to focus on a few strengths instead of all of them. Vladimir: the Crimson Reaper Vladimir has plagued the LCS and competitive scene for a while now and it seems even Riot is sick of seeing him constantly dominate other champions. His base health has been reduced by 25 and the cooldown on his Tides of Blood has been increased by four seconds at rank one and drops down to five seconds once again at rank five. The health cost has also changed to eight per cent at all ranks as opposed to ten per cent. This means that Vladimir’s laning phase will be weaker as the Crimson Reaper will have a tougher time sustaining and dealing heaps of damage, but if he manages to survive laning phase and enter late game he will greatly benefit from the lowered health cost. This will make Vladimir the late game champion he was always meant to be and will offer more counter picks and opportunities to shut him down. Miss Fortune: the Bounty Hunter Miss Fortune’s passive no longer does half damage to turrets, instead it does full damage which is a pretty big buff when you consider how important it is to secure the first blood tower bonus. Bot lane is the only tower that lacks fortification so this buff will allow Miss Fortune to deal a greater amount of damage to the towers whenever she procs her passive. She already does a great job of bullying her opponents in lane and melts teamfights with Bullet Time. Whether this buff will make Miss Fortune a popular pick at Worlds is hard to tell, but it could spark the return of the bloody-haired bounty hunter.
