  2. It'll be interesting to see if they actually bring this to consoles. Arguably they have much more freedom to fix this on PC rather than console and I don't believe they are getting serious issues on consoles with this so I won't be holding my breathe that they find the silver bullet for consoles. ----------------------------------------- Blizzard’s latest developer video is all about the netcode update for Overwatch on PC. The studio announced last month it was rolling out high bandwidth servers which would increase the tick rate on PC. According to lead engineer Tim Ford and senior engineer Philip Orwig, the netcode update has rolled out to most servers, with more regions to follow. In the announcement last month, Blizzard said the game will become more responsive with a higher tick rate, and have added tech which will automatically scale down the update rate if the player’s internet can’t maintain a steady connection. The team is also still investigating how the netcode update can be applied to consoles.
  3. The attached video is extremely good at showing an increasing issue with PvP. I don't use many hand cannons but this affects lower impact guns so imsure I've come across this. Part of me says that this happens in every game because how else do you ensure guns penetrate to the level they expect. Hit boxes on Destiny have personally for me been always okay but I know some of you guys have had different experiences. Still a really good short video explaining the issue.
  4. Bungie released some pictures of exotics with differentor ornaments attached. To get them, you'll need some radiant treasures. I think the Trespasser looks pretty darn cool in both colours.

  13. I'm not a huge fan of boxing but I love all sport so this fight really interests me. Golovkin is known for being the arguably best pound for pound boxer out there right now, therefore his usual opponents just don't seem to stand a chance even before they step in the ring. The same was said about Kell Brook. It caught everyone by surprise, especially because he's having to jump up two whole weight divisions to fight a huge puncher. Recently though, i've seen the footage of Brook in training and how he has approached this fight. It's not like any other underdog i've seen before. He now weighs heavier than Golovkin and he has become deadly serious about his training and approach to the fight. I think Brook has a real chance here. He just has to box out of his skin. In the fight of his life.

  24. Honestly Gary, you should look to pick up DriveClub. You'll probably get it for a fiver now and it's one of the most supported games due to it's shite release. It's widely known to big driving gamers as a pretty decent game (now). Also, Need for Speed is pretty arcadey, really easy to get into and you will always feel like you're progressing through the game.
