Surprised we haven't talked about this a little more. The story looks a pretty decent one and they haven't held back in terms of including racist elements to help support the story to ensure the player gets the most of the experience (developers have said it was crucial). The biggest talk for pc players so far is that it's running on 30FPS not 60. The graphics look okay and it wasn't ever going to beat GTA in comparison but it could be worth a dip in the pocket. Review below - I didn't take much notice of the reviewer, just wanted to see some gameplay.

Anyone pre-ordered this and trying it out? The Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare beta features three maps and four modes, Infinity Ward has confirmed over at the Activision blog. The beta gives players a chance to use the new Combat Rigs system. These are suits chosen by players that provide tactical options. You can swap mid-match to help take a different approach. The beta includes three of the six different Combat Rigs that will be in the game when it launches on 4th November. They are Warfighter (mid-range assault), Merc (heavy defense and suppressive fire), and Synaptic (a droid optimised for speed and close quarters combat). The beta also includes two of the four Mission Teams. By completing missions while in a team, you earn a team rank. Mission Teams are supposed to add a metagame to the multiplayer. Now the maps. The beta includes three: Frontier (circular, two-lane, fast-paced), Frost (linear, three-lane, medium-paced) and Throwback (bent, three-lane, medium-paced). The beta will rotate modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination and Kill Confirmed, as well as feature the new Defender mode. Here, your team must grab a drone and defend it.

Welcome back Kent! Great to see old faces come back, I'm from the 'new' era I suppose but been here for a couple of years and it's been great fun and alot of good banter. So what you playing of late? What do you think your next purchase will be? Some are on PS3 but most are on PS4 these days. That doesn't mean we won't have a retro black ops 2 night or anything else for that matter! This looks like a really cool move. It'sbecoming an emerging market to stream lots more games and tournaments so this is a really good way to help groups and communities grow whilst sharing what they enjoy doing. It could make me think about buying prime because I want some amazon perks but didn't think it was worth the price. May be different now.

I'm hearing good things about the campaign, the videos are apparently pretty darn cool but not sure if it's going to be short or not. One person at my work said he completed it in 20/25 gours which seems pretty reasonable. Any thoughts?

I think the novelty is great but they need to buff the perk somewhat to make a little more viable. Either make the compromised spots show for longer or allow to have next to unlimited silent steps. I agree with the comments about how fun she is to play, there is something really cool and exhilarating when you interrogate a kill.

I miss the really engaging campaign modes. I hope this one has all of what the trailer wants to give us. Multiple stories from different viewpoints.

Sounds good overall. One thing I haven't made my mind up yet whether or not I'm happy about it is the potential idea of your guardian not being able to transfer over and to start from scratch. This is a 10 year journey so I'm tryingto figure if I'm bothered or not if I have a start a new character and lose the hard graft I've made with my Titan. Hmmm, just not sure.

I'm really keen to know what you all have had that you kept to use. Weapons, armour, exotics, anything you've dropped/bought. I'm also looking at finding an alternative to my Hung Jury and the Kings Fall sniper. Cheers everyone!

Seems a reasonable change to me. As he is that shit what about his guns though. If they were tweaked so they are more powerful in certain situations he becomes overall a more viable pick.

@Drifter I think Neverwinter was okay, actually good tbh because it's free. If you're getting back into gaming I wouldn't go far wrong with AC Black Flag. Was really enjoyable and has a fantastic companion app. @PlasticGaming @Rumelylady so are you saying we could make our very own game aswell as joining one? -
I edited it to add RSVP on it. Still that shouldn't have been the problem but may be a quirk of the calendar if you create one on the same day. Glad you can see it now though.

After speaking to Chris I wont be infusing much at all if blues keeping dropping to 365. I personally think you should focus on infusing your Crucible specific gear people use first, if you want to infuse. That way the light level drops post match should be higher than your highest light level.

Crispy and I completed this last night. Really good quest and have to agree it made up for the short story. Brilliant ending to have heavy ammo all over the shop. I've missed post explosion cluster bombs.
