  1. So far its pretty much Lee, Rob, Rich, Martin, Stretch, Phil i think. Anyone else want to do this? I'm away from Saturday for 2 weeks so can organise stuff when I'm back but equally can set up a game for you guys whilst I'm away?
  2. Tapatalk is definitely not far away now both so that will hopefully get sorted very soon. I was hoping themes would come up so if others have any burning desire to add to Rob's view that would be great. Other than that you may see i have added a video section. Its early days but if you have any FG montage clips or just a couple of your own so far it would be great if you could test it. One place for certain forum videos whilst i don't want it stop within threads seems like a fun thing to have. If no one likes it, it can be easily removed
  3. Ahhh, I thought you were looking for it when you click on a fully updated thread. Nice one Tommy!
  4. Post all your ideas or thoughts no matter how big or small on here. Things that aren't a fault but you miss what we use to have or something completely new. Equally, if something is too excessive and prefer it removed. Let's have it all here so we might be able to group some changes up into one night of updates. It's everyone's forum so let's work on this together Thanks FG!
  5. Not a problem with the button btw No, it's not silly i miss it a little bit too - may need Didds to look into this as I'm pretty new to this. I'll have a look tonight as well though. I'm going to start a separate thread about forum suggested improvements / enhancements you want to see, no matter how big or small. That way we can keep real bugs here and good ideas/functionality on a different conversation. Should have more value from feedback that way and people don't feel bad putting suggestions in a bug or "issue" thread.
  6. Started a new section for No Man's Sky and as people start to get this let's use this thread for initial thoughts and views. The early reports from critics are divided; which is no surprise because it is such a niche, never seen before, game. I'm very close to going out and getting this today before my hols!
  7. Did anyone play the small intro demo? This looks like a fantastic addition that will be very interesting in first person. I loved watching someone play these games, now I have to build up to playing this myself! Resident Evil 7 trailer
  8. Hi Dave, there isn't one as standard however i've added now added one that you should see in your bottom right hand corner with an arrow pointing up. It has a bounce effect and seems to do the job you asked for. Let us know if causes any problems.
  9. Fixed for you. (First Admin issue resolved )
  10. I'm with you, Fencing was really enjoyable even though it was so hard to see when they actually scored a point! Women's Sevens was impressive too, shame Team GB couldn't get to the final, just hope they can get a Bronze for their efforts.
  11. This doesn't have anything to do with the original Prey by the way. They had to deviate away from the first game because of what they were trying to achieve with this one....yeah right, the first was complete utter balls so calling it Prey 2 would've put quite a few off I'm sure.
  12. Draxler gets fined 85k for trying to force a move to Arsenal. He would be an excellent signing for them....if Wenger gets his wallet out instead of his spare change
  13. Has anyone played this on PC yet? It looks fantastic and very close to alot games the community plays - hearthstone, final fantasy tactics, LoL. Would be great to see this finally on a console. Took the following from GameSpot. -------------------------------- Tactical strategy game Duelyst is already available on PC through its own launcher, but the free-to-play game is also headed to PS4, Xbox One, Steam, and mobile devices. GameSpot got the opportunity to speak to developer Counterplay Games, who revealed the news alongside a new trailer. Duelyst's gameplay mixes Fire Emblem-like tactical strategy with a card game like Hearthstone. You summon units and cast spells by playing cards you draw from a deck. Additionally, the visuals blend pixel art and hand-drawn illustrations, courtesy of Rogue Legacy and Chasm artist Glauber Kotaki. There's no official date for the game's release on Steam, consoles, or mobile devices, but GameSpot will keep you up to date as more information is revealed. Counterplay has been privately testing the game on Steam, with the latest update coming in July. It said at the time that it was on the verge of sending out more invitations to the test. You can sign up for Duelyst's Steam preview here Duelyst is currently available via the game's official website.

    Prey

Bethesda isn’t afraid to make you afraid. The publisher launched the first gameplay trailer for its sci-fi action adventure Prey today, and it gives a look at some guns, some exploration, and some space monsters. The game is due out in 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. You can see it all in action below: Prey Gameplay Trailer Another slick title from Bethesda it seems.
  15. Yeah, just going to be post that they've took the step to reset. Interesting move as it won't change the game, just piss off early gamers that obtained it. Its PC release has also been put back 3 days. I feel this one can't be a pre-order / day 1 option now.
  16. According to the latest from Game Informer, which has the month-long scoop on the expansion, acquiring the Khvostov 7G-OX will work similar to how you earned the Sleeper Simulant. Players will come across parts for the weapon in the Plaguelands, and will be located in chests or handed out as a “random reward” for taking part in the Archon’s Forge new arena. Find one weapon part, take it to the quest giver, and the Exotic quest chain will kick off. Players can also save some search time by dismantling the Khvostov they already have – if it hasn’t been scrapped already. ----------------------- So tl:dr - if you have a khvostov in your vault you're in luck. Anyone thought about starting the game again on a new character just to get the gun? Wouldn't that work theoretically?
  17. Still got 6 parts to do and I go away on Aug 13 for 2 weeks This week coming does anyone feel like Oryx on hard? I'll book a psn and FG Calendar event if we get enough. If you can, share the best dates for us.
  18. Finally got to see Deadpool. Loved it. As a bonus it is absolutely Ryan Reynolds best movie role. The sarcasm / slapstick of deadpool just opitimises him. Love Marvel movies.
  19. First Gameplay Trailer It looks exciting to finally see a new Quake game on the horizon. Fast paced, frantic gameplay at it's best. I know it had been said previously that this was a free to play game however that still seems to be undecided. I've grabbed the following from the Internet: When asked if Quake Champions would be free-to-play or an up-front retail purchase, Willits confesses that the studio is still wrestling with the issue. “I can definitely say that is a really hard problem, and so for us we’re trying to figure out exactly what people want more of, and how they perceive it,” says Willits. “And I’m not even trying to be cagey! It’s not like we know and just aren’t trying to tell anybody, we don’t know and we’re still trying to figure this out.” Quake Champions is scheduled to enter closed beta testing sometime next year.

    Doom 4

They have now confirmed that a Score Attack mode is going to available soon, part of a free update to players so there is more replayability with the campaign mode. Its nice to see adaptations being made to a campaign mode rather than just tweak their PvP side of things.
  21. Xur, much like the Renegade Master, Pokemon, Turtles and, apparently, Trolls, is back. Yep, Destiny's favourite hooded hero is next to the Speaker in the Tower and ready to exchange Exotics for your hard earned Strange Coins. Here's what he's got on offer. Remember, no touching unless you intend to buy. No one wants an engram covered in fingerprints. • No Backup Plans (Exotic Titan Gauntlets) - 13 Strange Coins • Graviton Forfeit (Exotic Hunter Helmet) - 13 Strange Coins • Apotheosis Veil (Exotic Warlock Helmet) - 13 Strange Coins • Zhalo Supercell (Exotic Auto Rifle) - 23 Strange Coins • Legacy Engram (Primary Weapon) - 31 Strange Coins • Three of Coins - 7 Strange Coins • Glass Needle - 3 Strange Coins
  22. "Rockstar Games also is hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon." Reports are suggesting this is linked to red dead 2 as it was expected at E3 but didn't show. I took the quote above from the Take Two financial report after it talks about Rockstar's successes and how red dead was supported on backward compatibility for xbox one. Let's hope its not far away as I think this would be a real hit. However, I would love it to be a similar game to LA Noire.
  23. UK indie studio Relentless Software - best-known for its Buzz! series of quiz games on PlayStation 2 - has closed its doors for the final time. All staff at the Brighton-based company were made redundant today, studio founder Andrew Eades told Eurogamer sister siteGamesIndustry.biz. More than a dozen games in the Buzz! series launched between 2005 and 2010 in partnership with Sony. As a whole, the franchise sold more than 10m copies. Since the PS2 era, Relentless kept itself busy with games such as Blue Toad Murder Files on PS3 and Kinect Nat Geo TV for Xbox 360. Earlier this year Relentless announced a splinter studio in Wales to develop Hasbro-related games. The venture was expected to create 70 jobs, but never got off the ground. --------------------------- Sad day for another game company. I have a few of these and they were good for a laugh when you had friends round.
