  1. I may have a bash mate. When's the beta again?
  2. Coming along nicely Steve, what will put over the frame that supports it?
  3. We've drawn Man Utd at home....really tempted to go to watch it as @Findmartin nudged me to go with him. Anyone else wanna come to the mighty Ewood?
  4. I'm pretty much like you Rob, however my mate at work has it and i'm soooo tempted to get it...and maybe even the VR. It's a shit ton of money but the idea of playing this and maybe with a friend to help you guide through it would be epic. Apparently the boss fights are brilliant too and the scores on metacritic seem justified.
  5. That is absolutely fantastic. Having these for the forum really add to the overall FG family. Thanks @Greboth, extra kudos goes to you my friend.
  6. Of course Brede, sorry for not replying sooner, just haven't been properly active for a few days. PM me and I'll add you once I get it.
  7. The developers have tweeted that game development has finished and ready to be shipped so expect to see a few promos soon for this. Could be a dark horse. US gets the game on 7th Feb now with Europe on the 8th and Japan 9th.
  8. In the next patch coming soon (no date confirmed) they'll be a new game mode Live Fire, a 6v6 Pilot-only setup that focuses on close quarter combat. Live Fire is round-based, with no respawns. Games are won on a best of five basis, and each round lasts for one minute. Live Fire also has a neutral flag that either team can hold to to win the round. Two new maps will be added with the update that are designed specifically for (and only playable with) the mode. They’re called Stacks, and Meadow. Speaking of maps, Coliseum is also getting a new map called Columns. Sounds pretty cool to me and the idea of quick burst rounds due to no respawn sounds like we need to get a group together soon.
  9. Taken from PC Gamer it's a good starter to read up if you want to understand what works well from the off. EVA-8 Volt Hemlok BF-R X-55 Devotion G2A5 Alternator CAR Wingman / Wingman Elite
  10. First off it sounded like a worthless edition but after reading what this small enhancement does, it will certainly help people understand how players get by from near-death challenges. Its pretty geared up for the next pro-tournament but could be useful to find some hidden top technics of getting out of a mess.
  11. That's a good point @cyberninja2601, it does feel a bit 'too real' (I know that's what a lot of people want) when really whats core to a game is knowing its still a game that's playable and you can figure out how to get around the hard bits when you practice. Still, it's hard for me to have a go at the game as it is so beautiful to look at and, at times, a whole lotta mindless fun.
  12. I think this is the main issue with this game. I'd like to know what others think as I haven't played the franchise as much as you guys, however even though I can't fault the game that much, it just seems to lack something which I believe is content. Yeah, I hate dying alot which can happen in certain game modes but I could deal with it if maybe there was more game modes or variety in maps. Be great to hear what you peeps think what it desperately needs.
  13. Looks like Switch want to get a similar feeling to PlayStations WipeOut. This looks good and I targets a game genre that there isn't much competition on. --------------------------------- Shin’en Multimedia has announced that lightning-fast arcade racer FAST RMX will release as a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Building on the success that FAST Racing NEO was met with, it will invite players to jump into the driver’s seat of their anti-gravity vehicle as they put their skills to the test in high-octane competitions. With 30 tracks set in canyons, alpine peaks, futuristic cities and more, players will need to master the art of boosting and phase switching to stay ahead of the competition. The non-stop adrenaline pumping action runs at 60 frames per second in 1080p, and FAST RMX can also be enjoyed in local split-screen multiplayer with up to four players or in online multiplayer with up to 8 players. FAST RMX will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch in 2017.
  14. This game is getting me pretty hyped right now. Also, the open world game has apparently got a whopping 552 page strategy guide which is similar to Skyrim....this looks like the next game to break the awsomeness barrier.
  15. Closed Beta sign up for PS4, XBox One and PC For Honor Closed Beta Sign Up Open from 26th Jan to 29th Jan
  16. D-Va's changes are interesting. I know I'll have to compensate as I use her the most. Probably have to play a little more defensively - blocking damage will be key and it would've been nice to see an extension to the amount of time reduce for the damage blocker to regenerate to compensate for the armour as I think she'll get wrecked in a lot of situations. Ana's changes shouldve gone further I think. A good Ana against you is unstoppable as the impact a grenade has on offense is ridiculously OP.
  17. Nice to see you back Brede! I think you're the only one who thought you burned bridges I always enjoyed reading your PPR. Everyone is still here, only a few don't post much anymore but we're alive and more than kicking! Hopefully lots of new games shiz to talk about too this year. And congrats on the engagement buddy!
  18. Blizzard wasn't kidding about an early 2017 release for Overwatch's next map, huh? We've been mucking around with Oasis on the Public Test Realm since late November, but it's now available on live servers for both PC and console players. If you haven't seen it already, Oasis is a new control map based in the Arabian Desert, or more specifically, Iraq. It features a couple of new ideas including a jump pad and perhaps the most dangerous threat in all of Overwatch: traffic. Seriously, those cars will mess you up.
  19. You better be making a little slot for an inbuilt TV and ps4 so you can hangout with your gamer and fish homies. Real nice though Steve, awesome drive to get shit done.
  20. So Stretch tells me tonight that Doomfist is potentially a bew character at some point. Really cool how the payload on Numbani has his gold fist inside and it takes it to a trophy cabinet. Anyone got more lore or info on this character?
  21. That just seems a whole lot of hassle for not much gain me thinks. Thanks for explaining Rob.
  22. Taken from COGconnected: We are still about a million years away from CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077(at least it feels that way). Part of why we know that is because they are still aggressively expanding their team. We’re talking a developer team about three times the size of Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. That fact alone tells us how big they want this next IP to be. And now, recent job listings suggest flying vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077. Herein lies the job listing that’s riled up our imaginations: Vehicle Gameplay Programmer CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a talented Gameplay Programmer to join our outstanding team in Warsaw. The person in this position will cooperate with Gameplay & Level Designers teams to create the whole architecture of vehicle related code, and the physics of driving/flying in those vehicles. It will involve C++ coding as well scripting skills. As you can imagine, this listing says alot. Couple this news with CD Projekt RED’s requesting government funding geared towards gaming innovations. ------------------------------------- Its been 4 years since its first mention to get to here so the hype train is going to have to go on for a quite a while yet I think.
  23. Athena Crowdfunding site This looks pretty cool imo. Don't think it will get the full backing in 3 days time and its only for HTC Vive. Having said that, the gun and its real life actions look pretty awesome. It makes me think they should bring back Time Cops.
  24. Just speculation however it seems that the Switch version of Mario Kart 8 is expected to come with additional features that the Wii U version does not have. According to Nintendo Life, it seems that it has been spotted on the box cover art of the upcoming game that was leaked (and taken down) on EB Games Australia’s website that “Battle Mode” will be returning to the game. Mario Kart 8 did have some version of Battle Mode, but it seems that many did not quite like it as much as its predecessor. We’re not sure what “All new” means, like whether or not it will be the return of the original Battle Mode or an improvement on the existing version. It was also revealed that gamers can look forward to a whopping 24 extra tracks, which means that there will be 6 more cups that gamers can race on. There will also be 10 new characters added to the game (with King Boo a pretty much cert to be one of them). --------------------------------------- Official news should come from Nintendo on Jan 12th. I used to love the original battle mode on the SNES. With more fleshing out it could be a very good enhancement to this game.
  25. The Nintendo Switch will be getting Unreal Engine 4 titles aplenty according to an Epic Games representative. Recently Dragon Quest XI finally got confirmed that uses UE4 and the exclusive Seasons of Heaven for the Nintendo Switch has also got this engine. Still a little concerning not to hear many more titles being confirmed as of yet. I think many developers are concerned it could hurt their titles if associated with this console.
