  1. We could have a little lul in the market for a year or so until companies start to change their business models. We are definitely gonna see the F2P market go nuts although I think it'll quickly fade (hoping) as it's a discrete business model that is more about money than meets the eye. I think it could be the case of gamers to reinvest time in games that are fully matured in the market with content and get their satisfaction from then and their content drops until a time a game can blow the market up in a few years.
  2. Random ask of anyone that knows how to switch off the cops on GTA? My lad has seen somewhere on YouTube (he thinks) that you can drive around and there's a way you can not trigger the cops. I ain't so sure. Cant seem to find anything and if I do I imagine it will be a PC mod rather than on the PS4. Is there a cheat code or something that I/he could do to stop them ever being triggered? I said I would ask as he went stop asking me! Thanks all.
  3. Nice Chad. I've seen theres a free DLC skin for Spiderman just released so should be in the PSN store if you take a look.
  4. Let us know which world comes across as the best. Always loved watching my mate play the original.
  5. I'm just sad now. Granted, most people staying on side of Anthem are saying most looters shooters start with limited content and then release more as time passes. We haven't seen any roadmap though and I've seen a conversation they had on a stream which mentioned that they have some 'aspirations' to create big things like raids but not them. Clearly though that work hasn't started as it probably down to EA needing to see sales in the game initially.
  6. So much is now riding on endgame for most games being created right now and after seeing SkillUps tweet earlier, tbh it's pretty concerning for me. I want to give the game a go but I'm worried it'll be extremely repetitive and very shallow pretty quickly. Wondered what other peoples thoughts are?
  7. More than happy to give it more of a go. I know Nutty has recommended some differences that I'm cool with. Still think if we pick a night in advance next week we're more likely to get more on. What about next Thursday Sebba/all?
  8. I agree with sentiment too, I've only ever pre-ordered one game which Destiny 2. Doesn't stop me from going out on the first day or two to buy a game. That's pretty much what we all do. Every time.
  9. I can't believe I'm getting caught on Anthem's side of the fence, especially after feeling I tend to defend Destiny's existence against this game. Just because my opinion is that it won't be as good as Destiny will ever be, doesn't mean we can't give it a good try. The core of what most people dont like so far about Anthem is It's EA It may have expensive microtransactions It's EA Looks a little bland It's EA Comparing it to Destiny EA - Well, EA might be a crock of shit in some instances but that doesn't mean they will do an injustice to this game. Microtransactions - we dont know what the final score will be bit we have to give them some credit for saying no loot boxes ever will be sold and it'll only ever be cosmetic crap that is sold. I'm fine with that currently, need more hard facts on this before we screw it over. Comparisons - Stop comparing this game to Destiny in the way we do. It's not like Destiny. The only part I see is that it's a looted shooter, that's it. Both Destiny and Anthem can exist. Blandness - Yeah, the colours of the world are always a subjective point. However for the shots sometimes we've seen on streams, they aren't doing the game justice. I've seen some screenshots that the game is beautiful in some aspects. I shouldn't stop all this negativity about Anthem when I know underlyingly this is the best thing that could happen to Destiny as people will stop moaning about Bungie and start realising what we've had and still have in Destiny is a unique world that is already developed tons of content that is ultimately fun to play.

    Hmmm

When you say this, have we had a game that does give us Ocean wide, puddle just the same size? I'm not saying we shouldn't expect a game to do that, just curious to understand if we're asking for something that's never existed. I've never played one to that point (well, I have but my perception is different to yours )
  11. I think we're all dumb if we think that when video games were suddenly made it was for the pure fun of the gamer. Their business that want to make profit and some companies also want to make fun awesome video games to be remembered. It's never not without profit in mind. The consumer now has super high unrealistic expectations in my eyes for the most part. We want an incredible amount of content for a AAA title, that we pay once and thats it - that demand is really hard to find. At the same time, game companies know that gamers will keep buying games regardless as they want to be entertained. It also works off a lot of nostalgia and routine. A lot of simple game folk are happy with their yearly FIFA and CoD titles. Look, if microtransactions goal was to help pay for developers and new content within the game in cool with that. I think some games do that, some others don't. We'll never know if we don't see their finer details on how they spend money. However, buying cosmetic shit is just dumb. I enjoy emotes and shit like that but the models that pay off are ones that you don't have to spend a penny but if you choose to, you can buy early an emote or skin. No random RNG shit though. That's where Overwatch annoy the crap out of me. Most people let them pass as you never pay for anything in that game....but you don't get DLC. You get a new character very rarely and a new map sometimes. Woop. The PvE shit for 3 years has been the exactly the same. At least some others recycle content and try to make it a little more interesting.
  12. Oo, oo, oo, what about a press up and yoy move to one handed press up...if you can do that 😜😘
  13. I mean, there's a part of Life though you have to accept that things change and evolve. The world of gaming isn't like it was years ago. That doesn't mean 'Just accept less'. In fact the world we live in now is more about better value for money and getting quality and quantity at the same time. These 2 games for me will give some seriously big content drops of 'stuff to do'. Rather than pre-judge these titles im going to give them a real good go as they both have potential to bring a group of gamers together, just how Destiny was and still is. I think Division 2 will still edge it out of both titles but let's see.
  14. I'm not gonna lose my shit. Yet. I hear you Rob but on this one I feel like Angry Joe is right below. Cosmetic microtransactions are absolutely fine in my book....but not at $20. Not even at $10. It smells of Bioware testing out the reaction so when they bring it down to $10 it's somehow acceptable. Microtransactions should be built so you reinvest in a game you enjoy and they use that to invest further into improvements over time. Skins should only $3-4 max imo. Unless it's a super duper glorious shiny rainbow one that has emotes inbuilt and can interact with enemies in a funny way. That one is pay $£5-6 for
  15. My opinion has been for sometime that we should have all 3 - Division 2, Anthem and Destiny 2. There is no reason other than numbers why they all shouldn't exist. Our main problems are that we don't have the numbers and we need more people to work together to create an atmosphere and buzz about the games and here. I'm willing and I hope more are too.
  16. Cool with me. I'll check what the score is at home this week and next.
  17. Zombies does feel like a convoluted linear quest that could be opened up if you can have checkpoints through it or different phases where it didn't feel just like a horde mode where you run around to try and find the place you have to press X on. Maybe a little more where you can jump in and out of a Zombies space and do certain steps would work better. I do enjoy the concept but if you missed the start you just shoot things whilst waiting for the most experienced person to do the next task. Good for a few games I've found.
  18. Part of me feels still like I wish I didn't know about this game so early. Might be a general thing so maybe worth a new thread of my thoughts. Just really wanted this game sooner and whilst I agree with the views above, it puts me in a sad mood and thinking will I ever play it as other games will likely be out by the time this is good. Bah.
  19. You should get back on a PS4 @Docwagon and play the new Resident Evil 2. That's a seriously well made RE game. If you want to try The Division or Dirt Rally that @Spacedeck was offering above just let us know. I haven't asked for the keys just yet.
  20. The Russian dance that is well hard to perform?! Also, can you try these 3 and put them together.....These would be the ultimate emotes😎🤩
  21. Give it a few more days then and if not, I'll grab the codes off you! Cheers mate!
  22. Lol, I didnt realise it was that much faster using the walls! 😂 Going from a 1:13 with walls to a 1:19.4 doing the lap properly without walls is a significant difference. I'm just glad I'm not a million miles away!
  23. Let's try and write your reviews here instead of asking people to click away from FG. 👍
  24. Man, I miss these two as well. Ron Mayall was a legend. So many nights as a kid giggling like girls with @Findmartin.
