Zombies does feel like a convoluted linear quest that could be opened up if you can have checkpoints through it or different phases where it didn't feel just like a horde mode where you run around to try and find the place you have to press X on. Maybe a little more where you can jump in and out of a Zombies space and do certain steps would work better. I do enjoy the concept but if you missed the start you just shoot things whilst waiting for the most experienced person to do the next task. Good for a few games I've found.

Part of me feels still like I wish I didn't know about this game so early. Might be a general thing so maybe worth a new thread of my thoughts. Just really wanted this game sooner and whilst I agree with the views above, it puts me in a sad mood and thinking will I ever play it as other games will likely be out by the time this is good. Bah.

You should get back on a PS4 @Docwagon and play the new Resident Evil 2. That's a seriously well made RE game. If you want to try The Division or Dirt Rally that @Spacedeck was offering above just let us know. I haven't asked for the keys just yet.

Lol, I didnt realise it was that much faster using the walls! 😂 Going from a 1:13 with walls to a 1:19.4 doing the lap properly without walls is a significant difference. I'm just glad I'm not a million miles away! -

Im seeing a lot of infinite loops tjat people were caught in. Matchmaking was causing an issue and I've seen Gigz tweet that a fireteam of 4 got past it by turning their lobby to private. A few good comments from Streamers so far however there's also some not so good comments from everyday Joe bloggs. I'll see if I can get a code so I can play tonight or tomorrow if I have time. Did you manage to get a bit of gametime then Rob?

So they are getting decent responses from how they communicated this decision. It's probably the best way - being transparent and disabling YouTube comments. I think most would agree you'd rather have a good game a little later than a shit game sooner. They must've been in a pretty bad way though for it to be completely restarted.

It's been confirmed you don't need to use coin to unlock more Javelins. The more you play of the demo the more Javelins you will unlock.

I think it really does have value but I foresee an issue with core players developing that I think we need to get our head around. Its okay that a sequel is very much like the 1st game. It's a double edged sword as people expect it to be memorable like the first (controls, experience, etc) but at the same time want it to be new and fresh with ideas. I fear this could have something similar with Destiny 2 whereas the novelty of finding out the mystery of something new is known ahead of launch people don't get hyped enough. Reality check from me - if you want something new, find another game that can give you what you want. When you try, you find there isn't much else out there that matches the experience you're looking for. -
This is one of the reasons why I love this place. I would've never watched any of his videos before you guys told me he's good how watch. Hilarious. Obviously quite a few indie-ish games on that list but those triple A games were utter dogshit to look at. Atlas videos still crack me up as well [emoji23]

Here's a few facts to be aware of in the demo: No lore available to avoid spoiling any story telling when game launches You can stream the demo Free demo to all Feb 1st - Feb 3rd When a mission ends, one button takes you to launch bay and the other to tarsis (social type spaces) Completely separate download to full game so can delete after demo dates The demo economy is not the full game economy You can change the size of the damage indicators in the demo Demo is around 30GB download Friend codes work across platforms so doesn't matter what you pre-order it on You start the demo at level 10 after some of the story. They give you 100 coin and loadouts for the ranger. All cosmetics are 25 coin. You earn more by doing contracts and challenges - but be careful not to spend it all quickly, apparently Won't be connected to full game so no headstarts created That's as much as I've found so far. Good chance to try out before you buy.

The live demo starts tomorrow for anyone thatbhas pre-ordered. You have you register your code on EA Origin Access and then it will let you access the demo (everyone can download it but you need a code to access in-game). Every person that pre-orders gets 3 friend codes. I'm going to look to do it as I really want to be open to what it brings and give it a shout. Anyone else playing the Demo this weekend? I really don't know! Tried to find a release date but Dotemu on Twitter aren't giving anything out so far. Sounds like some anime will be involved in some way too.

I'm with Rob on the fact that although it's disappointing to wait, you'd rather have a better game at launch. They must take some clear learning from Sea of Thieves as it will always be compared to this when it does come out. Has it got more variety to it now Phil? I do miss it and could do another night on it if you think it's worth it? I may need to post a new thread on previous updates to see what I've missed.

Wait...farming? Competitively? This blows my mind. Is there many gamemodes that can be played at a competitive level then? I would've never ever thought that stacking hay bails would be something you could do to win a shit ton of money. I'm playing the wrong games.
