    When I have time I'll go back through the old first impressions just on FG but I'm pretty sure we kept on hearing everyone was bored of this jumpy 'new-styled' CoD and we need a change. Then again how many people that have threatened to leave the CoD series and just pick up the next game are laughable 😂 This whole post I agree with. 1 million percent. Time will tell as Gary says if they can fix those things relatively soonish.

    Is it that bad? I mean really? I'd like to think most people are different to the CoD community but arguably we've all collectively said "we want something different that isnt CoD" IW go and pull off a game that feels different to the many previous ones. "What did you do to my CoD?!!" You have to admit, whilst there is some real horseshoe in this game with spawn points and some maps (not all), you do have to think how does a game developer make a game when people who buy the game change their mind on what a CoD should be like? @techno spawn points can and will be changed though. That's something that is always achievable like in previous CoDs, it'll be developed in similar ways. Equally, they dont have to change Claymores. Ofc their annoying AF when you get blown up but it's part of the game. Has been with others, it's not OP. EOW perk I believe stops them anyway. I think maps is the big key one, alongside dead silence. Its whether the new maps coming will be enough to keep people playing and if they are able to make tweaks and changes to maps over the course of time. Hell, there should be though, I mean just take it out of rotation while they update it.

    I could agree with the entire last 3 posts @JBR-Kiwi @Dr Diamond @techno. As the game hasn't even settled yet you'll continue to see slow camping play, but then that's always been in CoD, I think you want it to feel different cos you've been able to wall hump around campers previously but you cant in this one. However, Adam is right as they've already confirmed main priority changes coming are dead silence and spawn points. The game is so solid at overall gunplay and shooting that it deserves some good tuning to the worst parts. I dont think it's a bad thing to hold out if you have like Gary has. However, it goes back to @Greboth's post that I dont feel half as bad when we're in an FG party. I think any ridiculous stuff seems funny and we can end up working as a group to combat the campers together. Kiwi, I think you should get on with us and play SnD and see how you feel in that mode. Domination shouldnt be touched too much if you get annoyed quickly until changes have been made imo.

    Wanted to re-engage people from next week (maybe even this weekend but we'll see) to get a pool of people that are interested in giving time up to learn the raids again and complete some, even if it's for the first time. Let us know if theres any preference of raids, days, times, availability and we can see what happens. Note though I think to get where we have a larger group of people doing them again it may need you to do raids you've done before or dedicate time where we need to practice lore often. I think this will bring us all back closer again so we can jump in different parties when we need to. Im open to try any raid from the first to the last ones. Not completed later ones yet but happy to take my Titan ass in and do our best as a team. So let's hear who's in?

I mean I'm trying to find reasons why but this is insanity gone even crazier than Didds starting his own campaign for PM and you have to subscribe to get free lootboxes that have real life benefits available to earn. £7.99 a month for a chance to win Child Benefit installments.

    Getting pretty big scores and great reviews so far. Just sounds like a Fallout game done properly. Seem fair? On that basis I still dont think I'll get it. I'd need to consume a huge amount of time on my own to get into it - and that wont happen with you lot around. Still haven't got past the character creation screen on Fallout 4.

    Ironically I get pissed off when going for a piss...only to see a random piece of 'chudy' (chewing gum for the US folks) spat down near the hole. Theres a bin 1 YARD away from the urinal. It's clearly too big to go down the hole. I haven't much clue why it pisses me off. Maybe cos it's just sheer lack of laziness gone extreme. And it looks awful.

    Sounds like a lot of content. May be an unpopular opinion but I'm cool with this, if it's about a tenner. Maybe abit more would be okay too. I'm not having to deal with lootboxes or other bits in this CoD so I dont mind supporting games if they give us the content we want. And let's face it, we need more maps and better structured ones too.

    It's the most random game I've ever seen. If the controls are good and theres enough stuff to find then maybe it's worth it. I like the idea of working with others online to change the world that you are in. In reality though I'm not sure how that works if someone picks it up a few months later than others. What does their world look like? Is it multiple worlds on different servers? It's based on Horizon Zero Dawn mechanics so that's clearly a great positive to have in the bank.

    I've heard it's quite edgy which helps to make it a more engaging campaign. For once, I'm really looking forward to a night to pick it up and give it a go. Can it be played offline btw?

    My worry is they get rid of large battles at some point which I hope they don't. Always want to have one or two modes where its higher than 6v6 is available but I think it's purely down to how the large maps are laid out. Cant believe we'd agree on that Adam @Dr Diamond... Maybe they need to remove a few large ones and tweak them before putting them back into rotation. The one plus, if it is one is that it's made me appreciate sniping more in battles and not sticking to one gun all the time. Oh, and @Greboth agree with the solo thing, not so much the Shotgun nerf you mentioned previously. I think they arent OP at all, it's just they work well on one life modes like SnD and Bomb Array (if that's the right name??).

    Didnt expect that one. That's a pretty big move as I'd argue that guy has done a lot for the Destiny community and charities along the way so a good guy going will definitely make a few more consider viewing mixer now. I can see that from his comments already.

    Okay, I mean we can all be critical of the game but it really isnt that shit @J4MES OX4D. It isnt CoD as we know it and they have some improvements to make but its definitely not that bad at all. As I said earlier, your playstyle will dictate how you like this game initially. The reaction feels very similar to how Rainbow 6 felt. Hard as nails to start with but once you adapt to the game more and more, and also unlock better weapons, attachments, etc then you feel like you make a difference. Maps are bad, I'll give you that. However, I think that's more down to what game mode is available for each map. Dont put a huge open map up with a control point wide fucking open to everyone. Or deathmatch that takes 15 hours to find someone. Not seen this happen too much but its something they need to fix for sure. I dont think that's quite true. The BS you dont like isnt there in this game so potentially for you it could be a winner as you got bored of the series years ago. If you can stomach Destiny PvP, you'd enjoy this I reckon. It's the CoD regulars that love twitchy speed gamers that may not get on with it. It's good to see the likes of @JBR-Kiwi giving this a try although it will be through some initial pain.

    No discord integration but could come with PS5 maybe. Party chat is up to 16 players now on PS4 so just sort your life out Adam like PlumberDave says 😉

    Depends on what your spec is Adam? Do you care about 4k, etc? I now find that now we have HD the finer updates to graphics and clarity aren't enough for me to blow tons of money on a souped-up TV. Therefore, most TV makes I dont care as they're mostly the same now. I think it's more about what size TV you need and then work back from there. I'm sure people can give some recommendations then 👍
