I think it's all down to how you find that extra cash from a job or different avenue. I've been working that for a while and its finding the one thing that doesn't upset work/life balance more than anything. Going self employed as a contractor would see me nearly triple my salary eventually but I can't do it at the moment because life needs some stability. Not everyone is as creative as yourself, that's not a bad thing, but it does inhibit how quickly you can find that extra avenue of cash. It would be good to explore number 1 rule deeper, specifically how you worked out extra avenues, as after working for a Building Society for 15 years I'm pretty savvy on saving and spending control. Nice thread though mate. I like the thought process. 3 is always the number.

I mean, I don't think it's as bad as that from what I've seen. I think it's just.....different. It's like being tactical ahead of a round of Rainbow Six Siege where you have to be the last to survive the round, get to the other side using gadgets and not engage in any fighting. Simplest yeah? I'm not disagreeing. But I am disagreeing. That's how this game makes sense. By making no sense.

I was but not so much health as I was playing football on Sundays and footy training once a week. Wellness on the other hand was about how I would handle the change in lifestyle and more importantly how my wife would potentially change/feel. Thing is, everyone is different and so is your relationships. I'm more of a person that just wanted Hayley to be healthy and able to cope when I was not around. And when I was around I wanted to do everything to make her job easier. It's why I always woke up and sorted both kids out even still now. Even when she breast fed I would want to pass them to her. That also helps if she has a c-section (we had both like that). Priorities man. Priorities! Without you knowing they just become the most important things next to your wife. So stuff just happens and you don't think twice to give up stuff for them. That didnt mean for me giving up football straight away but when they were old enough to be interactive then you realise how much time you lose out with them when working full time. I didnt initially but I've now fully realised over recent years that a work/life balance is so important. I think you can also miss your own time at some points so that's where your situation, support and your relationship strength truly shows. If you or your wife need some chill time e.g. gaming, then you still need that stuff. Funnily, I can never explain how but it all seems to work out. I imagine everyone just gets used to a new 'normal' life, whatever it is for them.

I'll agree that it's kinda near the end of the line for OW1 because they've been lucky to keep the player base when they dont really update the game pretty much at all. Having said that, OW 1 was primarily a PvP game with PvE simple add ons that were never really updated across 3 years. People clearly want more PvE and I guess its make sense to bring over PvP in one whole game. It's too early to know if the added and new content is worth 50 quid but they also realise the value of this game usually drops pretty quickly to 25-30 within a few months which shouldnt be too far off the mark. Let's hope that in game rewards are all obtainable via completing PvE activities as well as PvP. Be also interesting to see if loot boxes are kept in the game moving forward.

Really? I mean I didnt get that from the information I've seen so far. Clearly it'll take a lot from previous games but that's expected as I wouldn't want to buy it because it's not Diablo. I hope that it actually tries to make some things a little more accessible and easier to understand. I didnt see an offline mode though which could put some others off it.

I actually think the better twitch players here, like yourself Kenny, agree with that sentiment but everyone else is enjoying it as it's different to the rest of the CoDs. I said before it's about changing your game but actually I just think it's being more aware of your surroundings. Maps are so open that theres just a few more places to look. It's a shame you arent enjoying it as much, have you played much of Gunfight mode? Rachel, this thread is full of more positive comments than any other CoD over the past 5-6 years. Genuinely is a far more polished game than the rest we've all played. Your sniping kills would actually be appreciated in this 😂

I actually think 3v3 is a possibility as 2v2 was made for the competitive scene and I can see 3v3 is a solid comp that many people enjoy. The maps would likely still work with 2 more people on it but it's good they're trying something completely different with 2v2. There is more demand on you to play well in duos and when it happens you feel you've contributed way more than a Domination match.

Leicester look incredible...again. but this time with some experienced and top pros. Rodgers has always been a solid manager, ironically Arsenal should've got him when they had the chance. I hope Maddison stays there but I sense next year he could be at Liverpool, his supported club.

Well that's a few of us but we need more to commit too otherwise we may struggle to get 6 regularly. I'm thinking to start a raid next week and put one night a side and see where we get to.

Glad the sniper is being nerfed but i'm with @Greboth, lets hope they've not nerfed it into the ground or else we could back to player power nerfs every gun that becomes the meta.

Agree. Granted I was stop starting it over the last few days but it was really bad. Such a shame as the concept seemed awesome. Agree again! Totally with you that it surprised me that it was that good. Such a good well thought out film. Brilliant ending too. Oh man, you need to be more pumped for that film. It gets better every time I watch it! Did watch it again about 2 weeks ago. @McNasty approves too so we're always right. I also watched Beverley Hills Cop again as i wanted some easy watching. I love those films. Its mad how some iconic old films just never devalue. We're planning to watch the whole Die Hard series over the Christmas period too.

Cerberus+1 is an average Auto Rifle that some people seemed to be able to make work on some PvP matches. I'm currently doing the catalyst for it. Eternal Warrior seems a good shout with bottom tree Striker however I still think its selection is behind a few exotic gauntlets for the Titan. Never used the other class exotics available on sale.

This the 2v2? If it is, I absolutely love it. I really think its an underrated gamemode. It helped me get used to some of the guns in the game but also I love the intensity of trying to win a round. Its also spot on if you want a quick game or two. There's no messing around in classes and the maps are well thought out. I dont think theres a map i don't like on it. The only rounds which i've seen a little problem is when Snipers are dished out and you can move an inch and get picked off. Thats something that Angry Joe picked up too. Also, we've mentioned before about a Tournament between us and this seems the perfect thing to use to test out our new Tournament space. Good thinking @TigerBurge.

Thanks for everyone turning up last night. That was a much needed lolz for once that i stayed up all the way through and didn't want it to end. Highlights for me were Crispy flying off my bonnet into space just in time to go out of the Sumo circle and blow up. I tactically played the worlds best ram and flip on Nick, to put him on his top and then casually slap him into the abyss on the next round of Sumo. After working out another controller can't hit top speed, it was finally good to eventually smash you all off the track....although i probably remembered more when i screwed up more than being on top. Like casually cutting across Diddums just in time for his pink car to fuck me up. and trying to nudge Crispy out of first only to bump him into the lead on the last corner and drive off into a wall. Having said all this, the Nascar one where Greebs couldn't catch Rich for the life of him, you guys outplayed yourselves constantly hitting a brick wall time after time, properly making cry on that one. It may look good but I've heard the PC rating has been bumming hard because of the really rough performance of late.

With a game like this I don't think the delayed release date will be much of a blow. People expect a monumental story and game so most would rather get that as its not a game you go back to after you've done the story (imo). What would be more of a blow is that the MP for this game is delayed even further, which I believe it is but can't confirm, and maybe not even delivered at all. The game for me loses some value without this, even if its an amazing story. I'll always compare it to the first one and content wise won't match the original.
