  1. Man, I wish there was a Photo mode for Destiny. This moment was possibly the best reveal I've experienced so far.
  2. Bloody App links! 🙈😭 Go to the quiz via browser.
  3. So later this week we'll be able to hear AND record 16 of your lovely voices!
  4. From Playstation Blog Our latest software update for PlayStation 4, version 7.00, is launching this week worldwide. This update includes new functionality to key system features including Party and Remote Play features. We revealed a number of features included in the newly enhanced Party prior to its beta earlier this summer, and here are all of the details that PS4 players can look forward to experiencing. Party Feature Update For PS4 fans who love to play alongside their friends or other community members, the Party feature has been rebuilt to include new features and services including: Maximum number of Party users increased from 8 to 16 Network connectivity improved Audio quality improved Accessibility support with Chat Transcription has been added (US Only) Within the Party feature, you will experience better network connectivity and audio quality. The improved back-end now improves network connectivity and allows users to overcome connectivity issues previously experienced when connecting with other users. Lastly, the Party App will also offer a new Chat Transcription feature for US users via the PS4 Second Screen App on your smartphone or other mobile devices. The new feature supports US English and converts party voice chat to text, or enables you to enter text that is read aloud to other party members. If using your mobile device to connect to your PS4 during a Party, you will now see a new Party tab has been added where the new functionality is available. Remote Play For those who want to stream select PS4 games on mobile devices, Remote Play can now be used on smartphones and tablets running Android 5.0 or higher. Just download the PS4 Remote Play App from the Google Play store to use the feature. Meanwhile, for iPhone or iPad users, the Remote Play App has been updated so you can now display the controller at all times and lock the screen orientation. Also, players will be able to use their DualShock 4 wireless controllers via Bluetooth for Remote Play on an Android, iPhone, iPad, and Mac. All you need to do is update to Android 10, iOS 13, iPadOS 13, or macOS Catalina (releasing in October) to use this feature. As a reminder, a PS4 system with a wired connection via a LAN cable is recommended.
  5. Man, you must be one lonely sad soul to be a proper sweat on a Mouse and Keyboard for a mobile game. That's why I initially thought they were bots instead of real people! 😂
  6. So. Shadowkeep. Be good to hear all your first impressions. Be good to know what's the best thing about it and also what would be the first thing you would change if you could? Once I've finished the campaign I'll put up my initial thoughts as I've still got a little bit to do.
  7. Laymen Gaming / SkillUp absolutely hammered this game. They've backtracked today on the 'Time Savers' as there'll be out much later in the game but lots of microtransactions still to be everywhere across the game.
  8. Why am I not surprised to see this.... Damn! Yes! Although people wont have downloaded it I imagine?
  9. Come on then, a few options for tonight...what do you all want to play together for some shiz and giggles?
  10. CoO is widely known as the worst story campaign parts, including the planet and infinite forest - good concept, poorly executed. Warming is something they realised had to better and was. Story has always been shortish compared to overall content they offer. They brought alot in that one though, some really good exotics to chase and secrets to find. Whilst CoO story was poor, dont forget the grind for Osiris weapons. A few are really decent and Saint-14 quest was pretty special and cool to run through which drops around 5 weapons into the CoO weapon grind (Saint-14, one of the most known Titans in Destiny Lore, you know the one with the Helm of Saint-14 helmet that blinds enemies in a Titan Bubble super? that one). His Shotgun as the reward is a good one to own and use in PvP.
  11. Not gonna lie, mate at work just played a game next to me and it was actually way better than I expected. Looks pretty smooth, hit registration was on point. Controls work quite well considering it's on a phone. I imagine it's even better with one of those bluetooth controllers. Unfortunately, there was quite a few monetization ad-style overlays between games that you have to skip. Obviously want you to invest in it but for a free game on your mobile it could be worth a few games if people do play on their phone quite a bit. Cant believe I'd say a mobile game would be better than half decent, but it is.
  12. Out now for Android and iOS.
  13. I believe it's actually EDZ this week. But yeah, it's always been the case that when the Flashpoint rotates to a place you dont own you may not be able to do it....however all free players get access to all destinations so I imagine you can?
  14. Yep, all new people that just go for the free version will still get patrol access to every destination. And yeah, the moon has been revamped super well. Its very eerie too, really cool and dark feel. I feel a first impressions thread coming along.... Any others in for the game?
  15. Don't hate me...but I never played it as a kid. Only when I was older and now own a N64. I'm glad it was loved so much though - just couldn't get a hang of the weird ass controller! Would be a good game to remake for a current gen console though.
  16. That won't go away just because of this game. The great thing about that one is there is a lot of us that already own it. And that you can have big parties within it.
  17. Thanks @Shucker. Looks like the Moon Flashpoint won't activate until you do some missions and elements of Shadowkeep.
  18. Such a shame as Poch was starting to really make strides imo. The whole Eriksen will he stay or go at the start of the season for me has had a massive impact on that team,
  19. Yeah, the servers have took a battering. Looks like emergency checks happening with servers turned off. @TigerBurge and me managed to stay onsnot fast travel anywhere so got play the Moon for a little while longer but it really needs a night to sort out how unstable it is. Fingers crossed all will be fine tomorrow. Nice though to see a ton of people here trying to get on. I think at one stage i was aware of 15 FGers trying to get on the PS4.
  20. It's out near the end of the month so let's get a roll call going to see who's in and who might not be! I'm absolutely in. I think theres a ton of scope for great big private matches too which could be a lot of fun as per usual. Who else? If not, tell us why not?
  21. Here's the deal tbh. There's no need to sacrifice your life to grinding away for Power. You will automatically be drawn to it but the entire free stuff would keep you busy separately if you want to try out all the different gamemodes. Clearly the regulars will be wanting to get into the Moon and new content but whats great is we can play all the other stuff now with everyone else - and more importantly help each other get certain awesome weapons and beat hard activities. For an example, you'll get the Menagerie for free, a 6 player activity which is slightly down from a raid, however we played it on Heroic difficulty where the whole team can't wipe and it was one of the hardest things i've ever done. Great thing is though you can take your time, no revive timer and makes for some real clutch moments. You don't have to do the stuff you've already done if you don't want to. Basically its in the first picture in the OP but all you've done is small box - Red War campaign. You could: Do more story Curse of Osiris DLC (not great story but nice grind for some osiris weapons and an awesome Search for Saint-14 quest with it) Warmind DLC (One of the best search and find treasure games with finding music boxes and some exotic quests too. Better story than Osiris DLC Forges with 2 others to get some of the best weapons. 3 rounds of beating PvE enemies, ways to get some tasty exotics. Can reroll some great guns. Pulse Rifle is decent, machine gun is in the top heavies to own. Also has a rare Shotgun that is the one to own (Threat Level - i still haven't got it yet) Gambit Prime aswell as Gambit. This is so different to any PvP game i've ever played. Really mixes it up and if you love PvE makes you want to play it with the twist of screwing up someone elses game by going to the other teams realm and killing their team. Linked to Reckoning when you play Prime. Another different PvE activity. Against a clock, quite challenging enemies, 3 tiers. Make your way through different sections that you need to be work well with your 4-man team. Lots of supers, lots of shit everywhere. Good fun. Also you do this to get themed gear sets for Gambit Prime so you get further boosts and perks in Gambit Prime. I have a whole set that looks like Master Chief in Halo. Menagerie is one of the best 6 player activities they've created. Matchmade, can't really fail it unless you play Heroic. Guaranteed way to roll specific loot you want. Also should be to do the tribute hall i imagine. Like a shooting range but also hunt for triumphs. Not sure if you can access it as its Year 2, but Bad Juju exotic pulse rifle is obtain through here. Leviathan Raid. If you don't usually run raids it can be quite time consuming but fun when you nail a section. Massive space and needs a co-ordinated team. Not as good as D1 raids but still worthwhile completing for the challenge part Nightfall Specific Loot All Pinnacle Legendary weapons to chase through quests in Crucible Strikes (Vanguard) Gambit Oh, you can also roam every single destination, even if you can't do some of the quests, adventures, missions, etc that are there. I think thats pretty cool as you can experience the world doing public events and hopefully try one of the seasons if you fancy it. So, yeah theres some stuff left to do on the map 😄
  22. 😂😂 Bungie 😂 That info is correct but also what Gary posted above about the artefact is spot on too. 960 is the value you can cap out at however you then use the Artefact to essentially have unlimited power. I've not actually seen what the power looks like to distinguish your Guardian is above 960. @techno you got any screenshots of it to share mate?

  24. On the TWAB on Thursday (see other thread) it states: Soft Cap 900 Hard Cap 950 Pinnacle Cap 960 It looks like we are going to be going back to a similar pattern within Destiny 1 which was something that really pushed everyone to keep playing (Remember being forever level 29?!) Once people hit that 950 level which we kind of do now, we will be looking at the specific Pinnacle rewards more often rather than trying to figure out what the hell to play out of all the activities now available. There won't be many Pinnacle reward avenues so that is also likely to push us back raiding which i'm dead excited about. We also can't underestimate what the New Light free to play base game now will do to the game. It may not feel too different to us veterans personally, however it will mean pretty much everyone here and anyone else that didn't really try it essentially get a full game of updates across 2 whole years for free. Oh, and @Plumbers Crack you didn't say if you were in or not?! (It may be obvious but, you know, just checking 😉)
