Tommy, the only thing I can think of unfortunately could be the electrical wiring to the basement plug sockets. I (think) internet can be affected by the electrical currents passing to the plug and therefore if it's not strong enough current to take it from your router to the basement then it wont work. I'm worried I have a similar issue because mainly i dont trust my bro-in-laws handywork on my house and I get 50mb via a wire from my booster when direct from the router I got 177mb. Not sure if theres something you can get to test the current?

Always been a cool concept but personally I just think it breeds 360omegalulznoscope attitude trying to get a perfect angle on their kills. Like @Greboth says, consoles built in clips available I'd rather seem them work on more maps than extra UI elements.

Mixer throwing dollar bills at these top streamers, I'm just not sure itll change the way people watch channels. Twitch remains pretty easy to interact with from a viewer POV and everyone wants ease these days. When it's pretty easy to find and watch good streamers on twitch there needs to be more incentive to switch their behaviour.

Well my initial thoughts are two halves. Initially, I have to say it felt bloody awful. It clearly feels like a steep learning curve because the maps, the starting guns are all pretty crap imo. A few maps I really enjoyed but they need to specific maps switched off for some gamemodes. Playing last night with @fg_cal @Chookes and @STE M was horrible on wide open maps for Deathmatch. Very like BR games, run around from spawn for 2 minutes to get battle but get picked off out of nowhere. Also, not sure if the colours have changed from the beta but I struggled like mad to find where my opponents were. When you watch the death cam it's like they could easily see you. Now for the good. Dont judge the game until you unlock stuff. It's more and more feeling like R6 than any other game but not as sweaty/Competitive (yet) as that game. As soon as you get to level 4 it unlocks the M4 and you start to feel better about the game. Sights matter so much to identify where people are. And it's far more about tactical attacks, not just blindly running around and getting kills. I slowed myself down, found where the enemy were bottlenecking up and took kills out of them. I went from first games in CoD 1-15 to going positive on nearly every game. It's like @TigerBurge says, don't be naive like a million others and treat this like its just another CoD because it doesnt feel like that - and this franchise needed this with everyone hammering to Kingdom come. I think theres a lot they need to tweak amend based on my early bad points (and dont forget how too easy it is for them to get UAVs everywhere) but there is a promising game underlying here. Euan struggled like fuck to start with and @Diddums will hate it atm as Shotguns need tuning - you cant blindly run around yet and get kills out of nowhere. It's not just the game developers that have to adapt to the changing market, gamers do too. Otherwise they need to just stay on their PS3s and Xbox 360s.

It took quite abit out of me to get a 6 week type schedule with all different games out there and it was reasonably successful to get us playing, however it'll need more people to get behind game nights so I'd love for more to nag and remind people the fun they are missing if we do get these game nights up. Let's look at some R6 nights as most here do own that. @BO7H B4RRELS Christmas! Hell yes, I would love to do some more stuff at Crimbo time - a FGFGF giveaway is definitely on the cards. As always though, it will be based on the generosity of everyone here so we can giveaway some nice goodies for all - we'll give away whatever we can buy from the funds that are sent in. @ChaosGladiator @Middle Class Caveman @Greboth great to hear some interest in a little tournament so let's try and do one for the new CoD as you mention. Elliott, definitely we need to go back to the free games available too, it partly worked when we had a week for that fighting game Brawlhalla we tried out. A great few bits to try so let's hope when we get stuff sorted lets get behind it and make it as fun as possible for everyone to join in. Anymore thoughts from anyone please shout up.

Thought it would be best to have a separate thread for these @phil bottle. I a;ready have version 3.2.0 so was expecting it to update it to 3.7.0 but it isn't offering the update, just wants to start the game. Also, its saying i've only got 3.4GB of RAM available and I need 8GB to make it run smoothly. However, I have 16GB so where do i check this to optimise my PC for it?

Agreed. I would consider digital games at some point if the cost was greatly reduced. It makes no sense that extra marketing and packaging is cheaper than a non-existent copy.

I'm with you. It was the same on Overwatch, just cant justify pretty much an indie game price for a skin. But as I say, that's not just CoDs fault that's the whole industry. I wont hold it against this CoD if this happens.

I'm all over the shop with things on what to do next, what type of group up stuff we should do, gaming nights, charity events, merchandise, tournaments, montage videos,.....you get my drift. £20 is mind blowing at pretty shit tbh. Cant defend that at all. Shame that they're doing it probably because they know some will pay it and it really isnt worth it. Everyone should make sure they talk to people here as with a little help from each other you can get your other guardians up in no time.

Agree and I dont think it'll be too different to that price. Yes it will be shite apart from a few things near the latter end of the free pass. That's how this model works. This for me is the real question which all game companies are struggling to get right. Go in too low and they miss a shit load of extra cash that people will throw at any old skin because that's what people love doing. Go in too high and you could get a smaller trickle of your expected sales, HOWEVER: 1) Going in high means you can always bring it down as you learn what people will/wont buy. 2) people will pay almost anything for some things, just like you see with Deluxe Special EgoFragilistic Editions of games that go for nonsensical prices but people will buy them cos they want them. If 2 keeps happening which it does more often than not, theres no incentive to do number 1 more. Shame as I think I'd buy a shit load more stuff for a few quid here and there on things like Destiny and Fortnite.

Yeah, it wont just gift you 950+ just like that. You have to be 950 in every slot before Pinnacle drops start giving 951, and so on. I honestly wouldn't get anyone here to worry about 950+ on gear alone. 950 with gear/weapons is our target and then its whatever you do with your Artefact to increase your power via XP.

I think the features they've added have been pretty decent across the board. Graphics continue to impress me, definitely more colourful and sharper. There is a Medal Punchcard which I dont get how it works. It gives you medals as you go through a match for doing stuff but I haven't got a clue if it means anything or resets after a game or whatever. Definitely took a leaf out of other games with how the UI throws colourful stuff to you to say how good you've been. If I could get my son off my account then maybe I'd give it a bash!

I'm loving this. @Greboth, maybe a good strategy type game for you as you're into them atm. Love how it is very Skull Island like and although relaxing it could be a real addictive game to get the next bit of info.

@Greboth one night next week, can you just walk me through the right install please. I want it there so it's ready to play on whenever otherwise I'll never get round to it.

Well it is the end game pinnacle activity so I dont blame you! However, there has been a ton of variety in it now which means people end up spread put a little more. That's okay cos we all got stuff to do, it's more about getting every person in the clan together and sorting our life out. I want us to actively help each other where possible and if we get a few regulars willing to raid then we will do more FG raids as we need confident and capable players supporting newer experienced ones. Let's get a focus on it next week for a few nights. Build momentum and start talking to others to make themselves available when they can.

Hmmm, you didnt seem to want payment last time? Although, you were out cold so hard to remember those moments. I get Phillys point, you do want people to stand up to what is wrong in society. I think the hard thing is if they pick something to do a protest on that is seen in most peoples eyes in society as not that bad, then its gonna start making people stand up in the opposite way and eventually use violence. Hate to see it but natural human behaviour is if no one moves the strongest, quite literally, leader wins. Sickening that it is like that tbh.

Not being funny but Powerlines whilst seem to be the way forward can be a PITA sometimes. I do feel like they can drop for a split moment. Hang on, just re-reading, do you use Powerlines? They are better than just a travelling wifi signal that can struggle to find it's way through all the wavelengths in the house.
