    Good effort from Scotland in the end. Portugal 0-1 Albania made me chuckle! Gibraltar lost 7-0 against Poland but both Northern Ireland and Rep Ireland did well.

    I enjoyed the beta but I'm gonna hold back and wait to see if it stands the test of time. Got too much on regarding work and other commitments so wont have the adequate time to play. Also the strict conditions of Raids is just a bit alienating for what was something I was particularly interested in. If this is still lively after the Advanced Warfare launch; I'll probably have a gander sometime after Christmas. ^Agree with Jonny above - end of 2013 and 2014 so far has been appalling for games. I think Destiny is the first of a long line of good games on the horizon so things will definitely pick up on here and in gaming in general.

    Michael Condrey has confirmed on Twitter that Field Orders will NOT be returning in AW! Fucking brilliant news!!. Probably one of the worst implementations in any COD game. Who seriously thought it would be a good idea to potentially give someone a KEM or OP killstreak reward within the first minute of the game for doing sod all, such as tea-bagging the enemy? Dumbest and most stupidest idea ever. Sledgehammer are nailing this.

    Ah yes it was careless. The site I read the story on initially, stated it was 'dangerous' but I've looked elsewhere and it seems the guy did admit to the lesser charge after simply 'not seeing the motorcyclist'. This possibly warranted the conviction of careless because a witness behind the car did see the motorcyclist from further away. If the driver saw the rider but believed he had enough time to cross based on the premise that he assumed the cyclist was in the speed limit; charges against him may have been dropped. Still harsh to be convicted in such circumstances as the bike was solely the aggravating factor.

    130 hours unpaid work and 18 month driving ban after admitting causing death by dangerous driving. If he had denied the charge; he would have been found not guilty. He should have been charged with causing death by driving without due care or attention - Holmes was the one doing the dangerous driving. The UK is completely clueless with driving offences in courts though.

    A story containing footage about a motorcyclist David Holmes who was killed in a collision with a vehicle. The rider was going 97mph which exceeds the UK speed limit significantly by nearly 30mph. The driver was also prosecuted and convicted which I find fucking ridiculous based on the behaviour of the motorcyclist. There is also a debate growing on who's fault it actually was!? You be the judge..

    I've been having trouble with YouTube last few days. It's definitely not my PC connection. Some videos seem to take ages to load and buffer throughout - I haven't seen 'buffering' since 2010 I think it's possibly an issue with the site. Funny how these premium 'hipster' videos work right off the bat but random uploaders content seems to stall. YouTube is a fucking mess of money and commercial bullshit these days and it wouldn't surprise me if the severs are being stretched to oblivion.

    Avoid all games with Season Passes unless you know exactly what you're getting is my motto! If you buy the Season Pass separately; it'll probably be only £5/$5 more, so I'd probably get the standard edition with the pre-order bonuses and then just see what else is on offer down the line. It's funny how all these games are now 'seasonal' with these passes but many people just trade the games in after a month instead of waiting 4 more months for extra material after they've stopped playing and moved on to something else! I can understand with games like COD which have a structured plan over the year with content and a 'life expectancy' of 12 months but other games jumping on this Season Pass bandwagon have no real cycle in the industry so it doesn't make much sense.

    Yep! I've always found the IW side of the franchise has better connections compared to that of Treyarch which has better games but sometimes unplayable. I've never had a happy medium since the MW2 days regarding this. Hope Sledgehammer retain the best of both worlds to further cement the quality work they have done so far. I think lag compensation has really screwed up the series of late and I'd rather go back to a single host advantage in a locale as opposed to lag comp where everyone suffers based on being dragged down to the weakest connection in the lobby. The TTK in AW is allegedly that of Black Ops 2 although it doesn't look like it most probably as the games were LAN based in alpha so if this is the case; the connection will need to be spot-on else it will be hell just like BO2. Ghosts was fine but I think the low TTK masked that a bit.
