  1. http://www.charlieintel.com/2014/10/07/upgrade-advanced-warfare-from-last-gen-digital-to-next-gen-digital-for-free/ Stats are also transferred to the new system so you can continue where you left off on the old console. I imagine you can upgrade physical copies too like last year but that's probably retailer dependent and you might have to pay an upgrade fee. I think it was £10 for FIFA 14, BF4 and Ghosts to switch up versions.

  9. It has seemed really quiet lately but I think this is more down to people feeling less motivated to post and contribute because of the lack of games on the new systems. I wasn't on here in the old Call of Duty days but I can imagine the place was rampant and everyone playing together on their respective systems, sharing tips, tricks and just having a laugh. Late 2013-2014 so far has been an absolutely pitiful year for gaming which I believe to be a major factor. COD Ghosts was fucking shit, Battlefield was broken for months and the next gen launch was the equivalent of a tumbleweed disco in Borneo. When COD was in its prime years ago; the internet was absolutely buzzing; me and friends would play for hours after work and you could spend ages chatting about the game the next day. I think COD going shite/stale has left a gaping hole in gaming and the lack of other games on the next gen has been very disappointing this last year although it was expected. Thankfully, despite me not being too excited; Advanced Warfare could unite the COD community again. There are plenty of other games on the horizon too. Could really rejuvenate gaming and the forum. It's not just this site that has gone quiet; major YouTube channels have collapsed into oblivion since the next gen changeover and COD Ghosts being awful. It's just a really downbeat time for gaming and people have been left deflated this year with a lack of titles and ones that showed considerable promise; being ultimately disappointing and over-hyped by marketing and media. I don't use social media these days and other forums I have no interest in or quit last year. This place has a great community and when its thriving; it's just fantastic and wonderful to be a part of. People are still floating around as I've seen various different names signed in but there is a certain depleted feel in the industry but I'm sure things will pick up. I've seen a few people have had personal issues to deal with and others have been heavily committed to work. Rich is also struggling to come to terms with how useless Man Utd are these days too; so those are probably other reasons for why its very quiet at times. Next month is a really exciting time for the industry so we'll see how it goes. Maybe in a few weeks, we'll look back and wonder why we were worried

  18. I took a punt on Wasteland 2 the other day and it's a brilliant game; even better than I was expecting. It's not the best looking title but it's incredibly addictive and fun to play. The story and missions are really enjoyable and the level of character building and customisation is really deep and detailed. Choices you make can have a massive impact on the narrative which adds depth in a genre which has become more linear and simple these days with the likes of Diablo 3. The turn-based battles are a bit ropey, unpredictable and sometimes frustrating but this is a minor complaint. Some battles rely on tactics and are thrilling to play and great to win. Everything else is very satisfying and fantastic to get hooked on. It's not really a pick up and play game; it's complex, hard to master and requires a lot of thought on how to accomplish scenarios. There is lots of intertwining events across several locations and plenty of information on factions and people to take in but if you can absorb all of that and keep on top of your squad and the missions; it makes for a staggeringly detailed RPG. A must buy if you're interested peeps!
  19. Emblem editor is back!
  20. I can't believe the negativity around this announcement. People (zombie fanboys) all over social media are almost in tears and threatening to cancel their pre-order because it's survival!? Jesus; the co-op is just a bonus IMO; I buy the game for the MP primarily and to play the campaign once. I'm not really worried about the co-op aspect as long as it's fun with friends. Why people are going apeshit before they've even seen a gameplay is crazy. This has the potential to be the best COD in years and people still aren't happy! Too many idiots hyping themselves up for zombies thinking it would be and now they feel the ultimate betrayal? Morons!
