It depends on the warranty from the retailer and if you bought damage cover. It's pretty BS but I bet lots of controllers get broken by players going into rage mode. Alternatively, you can send the controller back to Sony for an internal assessment and they will decide if it is faulty but it's conditional that you don't investigate or attempt to fix the issue yourself aka opening it up

Not sure in all honesty Jonny but you've definitely blown any warranty by opening it up In regards to the charging; it could be an issue with the cable as opposed to the controller. The buttons sticking seems pretty common though, although I haven't experienced it.....yet because most of the games I have aren't too demanding but it doesn't bode well for long-term usage. The sticks; well, they're just a bit shit

Spurs top so Phil will be happy Man Utd scrape a draw with Di Maria expected to sign in the next 24 hours for price in the region of £50-75m. Bet he's looking forward to playing in the Captial One Cup against teams like MK Dons, alongside the likes of Cleverley, Young, Smalling and Fletcher. I suppose the Champions League and playing with Bale, Ramos, Ronaldo and Rodriguez and Kroos was holding him back and extremely tedious That'll be a good signing for United but will leave a massive hole in their pocket. Really can't understand the market these days but even £50m seems extortionate for any player. They still need another 4 or so of strong quality.

Barcelona have been suspended from transfers until Jan 2016. I still find it ludicrous that they were allowed to sign Suarez whilst being banned just because they appealed the initial ruling. They'll probably go to the CAS to appeal months down the line if they want to sign a new player just to get the ban temporally lifted again. It's a joke!

I'm not a massive fan of eSports because I'd rather be playing the games than watching someone although no doubt this type of competitive gaming is growing and will continue to expand into the future. Can't see it qualifying in the Olympics any time soon though! The two aspects I don't like about the eSports concept is; the heavy commercial side and the health portion of it. Too many sports these days are heavily focused on money and sponsorship whoring and it really kills the fun and I view sports as a healthy medium and after seeing how these guys 'train' and then perform their 'sport', it doesn't ooze the traditional benefits you'd see with the more physical ones.
