  1. Yeah; it's stated on the MW:R FAQ I'm just praying that a few months down the line once IW has exhausted itself of income; that we can pick it up separately but I can see Activision holding people to ransom for the foreseeable just for the privilege of wanting to play it by still having to buy IW Legacy. It's confirmed at £79.99 too which is bloody extortionate. I was expecting £59.99 tops.
  2. - Developer: Raven Software - Available only with the Legacy Edition of Infinite Warfare - $79.99 - Campaign with 10 multiplayer maps (Crash, Backlot, Crossfire confirmed so far) - Digitial download only
  3. Infinite Warfare trailer reveal tomorrow 9AM PT // 12PM ET // 4PM GMT
  4. Each picture of MWR has the yellow download icon whereas the picture of the boxed copy of Infinite Warfare shows a disc icon. The retail promos also state that it's a full game digital download and I doubt they'll do a standalone version of the Remaster else people will be deterred of buying Infinite Warfare and the Legacy Edition.
  5. The MW Remaster is digital download only.
  6. Let's hope DICE don't screw this up off the bat so we don't have to wait at least 6 months before the game becomes tolerable. At it's best; BF4 is one of the best MP games ever made and it's a real shame all the problems it had as it's now by far one of the most complete and grand experiences out there.
  7. Legacy Edition costs $110 with MW Remastered which includes 10 maps and the campaign. $80 for the Infinite standard edition. I can honestly see both games having season passes, DLC, microtransactions and supply drops on top. This remaster isn't a gesture to the community but just a new revenue stream so Activision gets paid off twice and people are forced to buy the Legacy version just for the privilege.
  8. Legacy edition contains Modern Warfare Remastered!
  9. The name of the new Call of Duty to be revealed within the next 7 days...
  10. Just a regular update thankfully! There is an NBA flag pack also available as paid DLC but this isn't required to play the hoops playlist.
  11. Rocket League Hoops update available now!
  12. This is expected to be revealed at E3 in a couple of months time. A recent map leak has also apparently been confirmed as legit artwork for the game too
  13. I strung the game out as long as possible and ended up completing the final mission after 38 hours - I probably could've wrapped it up after 30 but I decided to do every side mission and encounter possible. I'm not really interested in the Incursions as that just seems a really weak and desperate inclusion. The upcoming DLC doesn't look like it's going to add anything worthwhile either.

I had fun in the closed beta but wont be participating in the open beta or even buying the game I don't think. I did have fun in the small time I played but there were probably just too many fundamental flaws in the game for an arena shooter. Create a class and perks is a stupid implementation and limiting the player to two guns per class in a loadout is just plain bad game design from a team that want to capture the classic hallmarks of the genre. Every match, players should start barebones and then learn the maps and weapon spawns so they can use a variety of weapons and each character is essentially the same. Making it class-based is just typical modern day FPS styling which isn't suited to this type of game and no weapon spawns is just unforgivable. Perks which include x-ray vision is just the ultimate killer. The Rune is so OP too that it can decide matches right from the start too. I bet most of the people in the team that made this weren't even old enough to remember the proper arena shooter days and instead; they are going off of games like Call of Duty and Halo. Big mistake. I'll only buy this in the Steam Sale for £15 or so for the campaign and that's it.
  15. It was either that or the project being canned as Respawn blew their entire development budget in 2012 and EA weren't even willing to fund the rest of the project despite being the developers sole publisher. EA drafted in Microsoft as the only interested party, to bankroll the rest of the development and get the game finished but it was conditional that the game would be an 'exclusive' to get it released two years after that. Sony apparently weren't convinced in Respawn originally prior to their close bankrupcy call due to their small team size and the fact the two studio bosses were in and out of court with legal proceedings filed against them by Activision at the time which also impacted development massively.
  16. Hopefully this game will last longer than a week before dying a death this time around. Not even fluid mechanics, solid maps and great gunplay could save this game and I'm quite surprised they're having a sequel. There's much convincing to be done and a campaign is bottom line essential for Titanfall 2.
  17. If people remember the original MGS game; this advert is brilliant!
  18. I use Fuze - the one that can breach cluster grenades on the other side of the wall. I once got a triple kill but other times I've lost the round right off the bat by killing the hostages
  19. Anyone getting it? Reviews have been very positive indeed but I have yet to play the second installment. I will definitely pick this up in the coming weeks though and hopefully get the second one out the way when I can squeeze it in.
  20. Some people are calling this the worst TV program ever made. Is it really that bad? It comes on UK TV soon and having seen the trailer; it does look pretty shite to be fair. I quite enjoyed the first two films but I knew this reboot in TV form would struggle.
  21. Looks like the original story has been modified from two jets taking off from Brize Norton (35 miles north or so from Oxford) going to Scotland in a hurry (for some reason) to two Typhoons acting in an emergency departing from Lincolnshire for an unresponsive aircraft heading towards Cardiff according to the MoD. That kinda makes more sense as there's no way the sonic boom would be so prominent or be heard in Oxfordshire when a plane is departing so far away and then taking into account the miles reached going north to generate the boom. Lincolnshire across to Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire heading south west means that the 'epicenter' for the boom would be in this vicinity and makes sense. Hope the pilot gets a speeding ticket regardless of the circumstances Edit-
