  1. My copy has finally arrived after being a huge 24 hours late That's saved me some phone calls and rage at least! Just downloading now. Have you also downloaded the free Chaos Warriors pack Phil? My 'pre-order' copy didn't include a separate key or one identifiable as a pre-order but you can download the DLC for free in the Store page of the game that way if you haven't already.
  2. I usually get offered a few high profile phone calls - mostly from the Nigerian Royal Family I'll try and get the CEO of Game tomorrow just so I can go apeshit even though their help page suggests giving it 5 working days but fuck that; if I'm like this after one day; what am I gonna be like come friday if it hasn't arrived
  3. Glad you got yours and it looks like tomorrow I'll be having another angry phone call with Game customer 'service'. I may even go metal at Royal Mail for the fun of it
  4. What a complete mess http://www.express.co.uk/showbiz/tv-radio/672784/Top-Gear-Audience-WALK-OUT-first-episode-filming-Chris-Evans-Matt-LeBlanc I do actually feel sorry for Matt Le Blanc having to work alongside Chris Evans and the other 'presenters' will just enjoy a bumper salary for this year before the show is canned I reckon. Anyway; tune in Sunday to see how bad it is likely to be
  5. Yeah, seems mine was prepped Friday and dispatched on Saturday first class. Usually when I've bought games from GAME previous; I always get it on release day bang on and was expecting the same today. So bloody annoying! Let me know if you've got it when you get home Phil - if you have yours; I'll have to assume mine is lost and I will have to contact their shitty customer service for the next step.
  6. My copy from GAME hasn't arrived today Saw the postman this morning after finishing work and all he had was an expensive bill Royal Mail + GAME = Tossers.
  7. I thought about this when MW:R was announced and after seeing a few rumours floating around which echoed what I was thinking; I'd thought I'd share my theory on how MW:R will be playable in the Legacy Edition:- I reckon that despite MW:R being a separate download and a 'standalone' product; users will be forced to use the physical copy of Infinite Warfare as a key to launch the game. I think this will happen for two reasons:- a ) Acitivision will count the people using the Infinite Warfare disc to launch MW:R as playing IW to avoid any red faces about the remastered game outshining the new Call of Duty. Activision and Infinite Ward were already humiliated with Ghosts when at lauch weekend at peak; 145,000 were playing Ghosts on the 360 but 260,000 were still playing Black Ops 2 at the same time. This incident also most likely was the reason why Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3's playlist/global player counts were removed to avoid any further embarrassments. There is absolutely no logical reason to remove them other than censorship. Activision have also neglected to release the unit sales figures of the games in the last two years after the woeful performance of Ghosts. They do release the monetary takings but this is heavily mitigated by supply drop income and microtransactions. I think the publishers will once again do their utmost best to protect the lasted Call of Duty and if they have to count the people playing MW:R to avoid uncomfortable questions from the media; I think they'll be crafty enough to do it. b ) Enforcing people to hold onto Infinite Warfare can entice them to play it if they get burned on MW:R and even possibly spend money in-game instead of trading it in or flogging it right off the bat. It would also prevent shops from becoming overstocked on Legacy Edition pre-owned copies that only hold half a product and one that many people don't want. If they can just keep people on board who may at some stage play it in the next 12 months after release and they purchase a map pack or supply drops; it'll give extra income on a product that people have already spent £70 on. I hope this isn't the case and in all honesty; I may wait to see if MW:R eventually comes out as a standalone purchase many months after IW's release once their primary revenue streams have been peaked and/or exhausted but for those that are purchasing the Legacy/Deluxe versions with MW:R included; I fear they will be enforced to retain Infinite Warfare even if they don't wish to play it just to access the remaster and having no chance of clawing back money through a trade in or sale. I'd like this to be added to the official FAQ and people are asking about it but as usual and unsurprisingly; Activision are dodging this burning issue.
  8. 5) Stacking killstreaks 4 kills w/hardline = AC130 pretty much guaranteed. I had to stop using the high end ones just to make the game interesting in the end as it was too easy. At least in Black Ops 1 you had to work to get up the ladder. If you saw someone with Harriers who didn't have a Pred missile; they were on a nuke streak essentially that they'd just camp out and if someone gained a predator missile; it was a chopper/AC130 incoming.
  9. Best moment of the FA Cup Final
  10. Yeah, the maps were pretty amazing on BO - you had the likes of Summit, WMD, Grid, Firing Range, Array, Radiation and even Nuketown and then the DLC maps like Drive In, Hotel, Kowloon, Stadium, Hanger 18 off the top of my head. Not only were the maps nice and varied but they worked incredibly well in all the modes on offer. Even utter crap like Crisis was pretty good for Domination, CTF and SnD. Pity we don't see that consistent quality now and Treyarch seem to be too focused on this 3 lane shite and making maps the sizes of shoeboxes. Even the larger ones from BO were great as they enticed players into key areas and you could be more tactically creative with flanking. Now it's just a nade spam fest and matches being done and dusted in minutes with mindless shooting. You had to work for your kills and the win in BO.
  11. It's a great game still and they now have the Steam Workshop in full flow so mods aplenty! Also the free Arizona state DLC is being released soon which should expand the map further. Game should be in the summer sale next month too so keep you're eyes open for that
  12. I remember the locale only option being a godsend but I only selected this after christmas when I realised it existed The 360 version ran pretty well in the end but I remember the PS3 one had massive issues throughout and when Teryarch did finally release a performance patch; the PSN outage happened
  13. I bought Total War Warhammer instead. May look at Overwatch in the future to see how it pans in the long run.
  14. Yep, I actually think it's one of the best in the series and corrected the countless flaws MW2 had. I did love the latter but OMA, quickscoping, glitches, commando, deathstreaks and other issues were a problem throughout. It was also an easy game - 4 kills = AC130 pretty much. Black Ops was a welcome change after months of hell on MW2 as it came to a close. Shame the hit detection and general connection was shite as it always is on Treyarch games but the maps of BO1, guns and everything else was fantastic.

  18. I BLOODY FELL FOR IT Well done Bart!
  19. Saw a 13,400% sales jump thanks to backwards compatibility http://www.videogamer.com/xbox360/call_of_duty_black_ops/news/call_of_duty_black_ops_sales_jump_13_000_following_xbox_one_backward_compatibility_update.html Wish I had an Xbox One as I bet the community is buzzing now unlike Black Ops III...
  20. Same; probably see a FIFA 16 thread and you open it up and it's about Warframe I may have to give this game a shot again though as it's been very heavily developed of late and has much content for nothing.
  21. I'm no engineer but I can only assume the ship is made out of plastic
  22. Worlds first billion dollar cruise liner lands in Southampton which holds 6,000 passengers and 2,000 staff and is 4 football pitches long - 300ft more than the Titanic. Very impressive but I wouldn't want to be on there when a norovirus breaks out and everyone has the shits as happens on practically every cruise liner
  23. 5/10 on IGN and a load of other mediocre reviews to boot. They seemed to have spent a lot of money on marketing recently but the user gameplay videos can't mask the cracks on how painfully dated and average this game looks. Another one that will be in the bargain bin in no time.
  24. Glad these mindless idiots have been banged up - I think that's pretty much everyone associated with the channel now in the slammer. Really struggle to see why they were so popular especially when their pranks grew into the beyond extreme http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-36305727
  25. Just over a week to go! I may opt to buy the limited edition from GAME for £40 http://www.game.co.uk/en/warhammer-total-war-limited-edition-583784?pageSize=40&searchTerm=Total+war+warhammer&catGroupId=which is the same price as a digital download from Steam or I may purchase from GMG and grab the 20% off voucher which should take it down to around £31. Can't wait though!
