  1. Anyone that gets killed by this has to uninstall the game and go back to CoD
  2. Quality!
  3. Out today and is absolutely epic! If you like Uncharted and The Last of Us; this is pretty much as close as it gets and is equally polished. The PS4 version is also the complete bundle with DLC plus new extras. Strongly recommend checking it out
  4. After a fairly quiet period of games; seems they are coming in thick and fast now which is great and also terrible at the same time as money and fitting them all in wont be easy and I may even have to overlook a couple that I was particularly looking forward to. I've bought Gears of War 4 for PC today and I'm definitely looking to pick up Battlefield 1 next week with just Planet Coaster my only other must buy for the year. With FIFA 17 a game I'm already playing quite regularly; these 4 will eat into my time and keep me occupied long into 2017. This means I'm gonna have to neglect Dishonored 2 for now along with Skyrim Remastered and will even have to overlook Civilization 6 which is definitely a major time sink even on its own. This will also be the first year since before 2007 that I wont be playing a Call of Duty game and I'm quietly thankful that MW:R isn't a standalone at this time else I would've had to rethink my entire Christmas strategy. Infinite Warfare is one game I have absolutely zero interest in and I'm certainly not being baited into buying it with the remaster as leverage. Unlike previous years where Call of Duty has dominated; there is plenty of choice elsewhere thankfully. What's on your shopping list for the rest of the year?
  5. Another fine AAA game
  6. Looks like they've done a pretty amazing job
  7. Mind = Blown!
  8. Seems that Microsoft are really serious on getting back into the PC gaming market and despite some early indications that they were doing this out of desperation after poor Xbox One sales; it looks like it might not be a bad idea and could be quite beneficial to gamers. The Windows store is a pile of utter disorganised dogshit but there are a few decent games cropping up that would never have made it onto PC if it wasn't for Microsoft getting back into the fore. Rise of the Tomb Raider selling 4x as many copies on PC in a week than the XB1 version sold in the first year was the ultimate wake up call for them no doubt. Forza Horizon 3 released last month and there is also an astonishing quality port of Gears of War 4 releasing on Tuesday which is cross platform with Xbox Live like FH3. Halo 5 Forge is also available and with Sunset Overdrive planned; it looks like it could be a nice extra line of PC games that don't have to be held back to sub 1080p and running at below 30fps. Quantum Break also appeared in September in the Store but is also now available on Steam. I've yet to be all that convinced or interested in Windows 10 gaming but it could be great going forward and a good excuse not require an Xbox One but also to not miss out on some decent games it has along the way. Not only are the games cross platform which really compensates the potential lack of players on PC when compared with the Xbox Live community at this time; if you own a game digitally on Windows 10, you can also download it on an Xbox One if you happen to buy one in the future with any saved games/stats transferring over so you can play between both devices. Halo 5 Forge is free for starters and there is also demos available for Forza Horizon 3. You'll need the latest Windows 10 Anniversary update and most of the games are quite chunky downloads plus being £50 which is pricey as hell for a PC game but this certainly could be worth a look now and then especially if the games are decent exclusives with full crossplay support.

  10. This game looks total dogshit
  11. Haven't started the Journey yet and admittedly it doesn't really interest me although I have heard some good things about it and it exceeding expectation. 15-20 hours is the expected completion time and I may have a look at it in the coming weeks. I thought it was just Alex Hunter at Man Utd the whole time with cliche-ridden garbage in between but actually there is supposed to be an interesting story that unfolds so I'm defo more tempted to try it out. I had a brief look in the beta but decided to score 10 own goals and get sent off on my debut to see what the interview was like
  12. The early access code only grants access to the campaign and you'll need the disc from the release onwards to access the full game and the MP portion it seems.
  13. I called it http://uk.ign.com/articles/2016/10/03/call-of-duty-modern-warfare-remastered-requires-infinite-warfare-disc-to-play
  14. Oh dear! When you spend your entire life putting everything you do every minute of every day on social media; it's bound to come back to bite you on your big fat fake ass http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-37538453
  15. Sam Allardyce resigns as England manager Say what you want about big Sam though - 100% record makes him the most successful England manager of all time
  16. Darkest Dungeon has just been released on PS4 and is very highly rated on PC. It's a narrative driven side scrolling dungeon crawler
  17. I have a PS4.....but it's been broken for the past two years Never managed to even get PSN going either I'm probably going to replace it with a Slim or Pro in the next month or so; so I shall keep you all posted
  18. The misconception about UT, EA and its packs is that you don't have to give EA a penny just like Battlepacks in Battlefield. On FIFA 16 I put together a hugely rated and highly valued team without buying one pack at all. All the packs I earned were in-game playing other players or against the AI and my players that didn't come in packs were purchased with the Coins which were also earned in-game and didn't cost a penny. UT has been poisoned by these YouTube pricks who use their ad revenue money to buy 100+ packs at a time and this has given people the wrong message that buying packs is the only way to play and thrive in the mode. It took me about 40 hours to piece together a solid side but that was what made it so much fun and so rewarding. YouTubers and the sheep that throw money at EA for packs can't be having a very satisfying time as you're essentially just increasing your chances and the speed of getting better players without having to bother playing matches or having any in-game satisfaction. The transfer market is also fantastic and you can buy/bid on players using just FIFA Coins and developing and maintaining your team with in-game rewards is what keeps you interested. Buying packs from EA in droves is just paying in the hope to win and a good way YouTubers can groom their subscribers into parting with their funds in large doses but at its core; the mode is fantastic when its played how it should be just like Battlefield. BF4 had packs, shortcuts and other shit and UT just has the same stuff dressed up differently and you can happily ignore it for the best possible experience.
  19. I cannot wait to start my Ultimate Team
  20. Is there any good YouTube channels left of any kind these days that you lot recommend checking out? Since the Google bastards bought the site and allowed for people to monetize content; it has turned into an unregulated commercial haven with people farming out half arsed content for easy ad rev, giveaway scams, clickbait, illegal paid promotions, fake videos and attention seeking drama. It's a really toxic platform and has been for many years but most of the good channels that have worthwhile material are now being squeezed and buried under these shitty heavyweight GTA, FIFA, Drama and fucking fashion VLOG channels and once-dedicated users don't seem to have the motivation to upload because of it. I remember watching some channels and they'd upload about 3 quality videos a week but now the same ones who are completely exhausted of ideas are now spamming 3 videos a day or so. Easy money and literally no effort whatsoever. The newer channels who start off by buying subs, likes and joining paid networks to drive awareness are just popping up everywhere and ever single day I'm seeing channels I've never even heard of with 1m+ subs flooding the site doing what every other fucker is doing and has done a million times over. It's also really annoying to see smaller channels get penalised for no reason and then bigger popular ones who persistently break the Google ToS/YouTube guidelines get away with their antics on a daily basis. If there's any worthy channels that you enjoy which still thrive in this competitive and demoralising platform; please share them
