I can't see the market for the Xbox One S at this time - people should stick with the standard system which is dirt cheap now or wait until the Xbox One Scorpio which will be a full 4K unit and 8 fudging teraflops! This XB1 S should have been what the original system was at launch and Microsoft were famous for this shit in the old gen with the Arcade, Core, Elite, Slim etc...The only selling point is a 4K player which is cheaper than mainstream market ones but even so; if people have a 4K TV and want the best out of gaming; just bloody wait as there is no point in watching movies in 4K and then playing videogames in sub full HD on a 4K TV with games running barely at 30fps. At least the power brick is finally gone on the S but if I was ever to go back to Xbox; I'd just wait for the Scorpio.

Just watched the first two battles on Robot Wars rebooted and I must say that the producers and editors have collectively ruined it. Firstly; the camera angles they are using are horrendous whereby you can't see half the battles clearly and they zip from camera to camera so often; you can't work out what the fuck you're watching. Secondly; whoever edited this should be fired - not only was I contesting with these horrible camera angles switching every 2 seconds; when you do finally get eyes locked on the battle; they slow down parts of the fight with this horrible framerate and then incorporate live replays which are even slower on top so the battles don't have any flow whatsoever. The original series had 3 main arena cameras and showed the battles largely in full and at full pace without snazzy editing. The replays were also real-time speed and didn't upset the flow of the spectacle. I honestly don't know what the hell they've done to this but the production is bloody terrible and they better address this shit before the next episode. The rest of the show is rather uninspired and drab too but the editing has somewhat left me shocked.

This game even being free isn't even worth my time! I played the base game and it was very poor and deeply flawed plus the ignorant and arrogant business model behind it at the time just made the product as a whole rather embarrassing and no wonder it died within 3 weeks. I think only 150 people were playing it last month at peak which makes it probably the biggest flop in AAA history. It was £40 for the base game, another £30 or so for the season pass and then it had hundreds in skins including turning your gun blue for a fiver and then shockingly; the game got a SECOND season pass despite only having 300 players left Fair play to the devs for reworking the game as it goes F2P and many have jumped on it but it is such a poor game for me; I'm definitely not going to bother wasting my time or HDD space just to see the changes and it costing nothing. It'll be interesting to see how long the game lasts now but in all honesty; they could have probably just abandoned it, shut the servers down and moved onwards instead of wasting any more time. Too little too late.

This guy is quite possibly the worst person I've ever seen on YouTube. He made an apology video last night, monetised it, blamed the fans/customers whilst failing to acknowledge his deceptions along with not trying to incriminate himself and after a swarm of hate worldwide after people saw through more lies and ultimately a fake apology to appease his naive supporters; he then took the video down before contacting a law firm to hide behind for protection! The BBC have taken up the story, PC Gamer are making a mockery of him and other big YouTubers including his friends are even mortified by his conduct. YouTube has become a hellhole since Google bought and incorporated ad revenue in which people exploit to the max.

I tend to avoid all of this so called 'YouTube drama' that plagues the site now, but one thing that has materialised in recent days is two popular Call of Duty channel owners; Tmartn and Syndicate have been exposed in shocking fashion for running a shady CSGO Gambling website that entices minors to gamble with money and items whilst scamming and defrauding them along with their YT subscribers and other users. They then advertised it on their channels after pretending to stumble across it. They breached several laws and Google ToS in failing to disclose ownership of the site when promoting it on YouTube and when initially confronted about it; they further deceived and lied whilst attempting to cover their tracks in embarrassing style to leave people further enraged and their diminished credibility left in tatters. Tmartn has since gone into hiding it seems and disabled all likes/dislikes and comments on all his videos. He is also a content promoter for Activision so it will be interesting to see if that relationship survives but it is highly unlikely that a corporation like that will want to continue working with someone who's essentially a prolific liar, criminal and who breaks the most basic YouTube guidelines for content. Syndicate has apologised for 'misleading' people except it wasn't a question of people being simply mislead; it was a systematic deception of scamming, fraud, lies and then even more lies when they defended themselves and tried to pull the wool over people's eyes knowing full well what they were doing and this had been going on for some considerable time. These grey area sites may not be illegal yet but from a moral standpoint; what they have done is mortifying especially considering they are two multi-millionaire people through their YouTube channels alone. It's like Lord Alan Sugar running a website illegally selling guns on the side from his technology businesses. They have however breached advertising laws worldwide which falls under a criminal offence and in regards to the Google ToS in respect to these laws; they warrant and account termination without notice. This is also Syndicate's 3rd offence so why his channel is still up is beyond me. The most horrific fact is them basically scamming anyone and everyone that goes onto the site including naive minors who get reeled in after being essentially shilled by the videos uploaded to Tmartn's YouTube where he pretends to win $13,000 (on his own site) to entice all users further. Here are some videos that outline the situation more clearly along with evidence that Tmartn has tried to remove and manipulate in a pathetic attempt at covering his own backside. Thankfully the internet is way ahead of him. More lies exposed when originally challenged on his antics.

Yep, we had the original Robot Wars back in 1998 and it was a growing and massive success but petered out in the final few years before being cancelled in 2004 I think it was. We've had nothing along these lines since so it will be good to have it back on our screens plus new stuff in regards to tech and science now being focused on as well as the battles.

Can't wait to see this and hopefully it'll retain the brilliance it once was!

Best single player campaign I've played in years. So glad I picked this up in the sale! It makes such a change playing an FPS with smart level design, great AI and just simply enjoyable gameplay that is fast paced and relentless fun. I forgot games like this could exist as I'm so used to generic and linear shooters these days with bland combat, checkpoints galore and tiresome cliches. Doom modernises a classic and retains all the core qualities that made the originals so good!
