    Subscriptions are only good for short term value on consumable games but they are terrible in terms of ownership, plus the prices and tiers are so expensive and convoluted now, it's actually better to buy a game out right down the line in the sale. I get a headache just looking at the PS+/Now entitlement spreadsheet and the Microsoft Pass is becoming more unattractive by the month as they push people towards higher and more expensive tiers. You can spend £200 a year on a pass and ultimately not play £200's worth of games and come out of it at the end with nothing to show for it. I'd only say it's worth it if you wanted to jump into the likes of COD, play the campaign and hammer the MP for a month. Personally, I feel these passes are terrible for the industry anyway and shouldn't be encouraged. It's not even a successful model right now for mainline developers let alone third party ones and revenue cuts are only going to reduce further once Microsoft puts AAA games on their Game Pass. The average cut per install is about a dollar but if you have a pass with BO6 on it and 90% of people are playing that, then other games may be lucky to see 50 cents an install and that even goes for Microsoft's in-house developers who they've been throwing under the bus for years now. MS, Ubisoft and some others I think are trying to turn heads to ultimately revoke ownership and make things all digital, all streaming and all subscription. Fuck that.

    Spain 2-1 England Very disappointing once again. Lucky to not be 3-0 down and when we do get back into the game, we sit back and let them get a later winner. I don’t know what it is about us gradually sitting back and inviting pressure but it happens every bloody time and costs us dear. Subs did well again but maybe Palmer and Watkins should’ve started as Kane get again just chased shadow largely and he was spent by 60. Don’t know why we have to fall behind before we start playing either. Best team won overall but Spain were there for the taking after we equalised and we were lucky to get to the final. Their run was significantly harder. Another monumental missed opportunity and despite another strong tournament; nothing to show for it apart from regret.

    New hero shooter coming out next month on PS5 and PC. Looks a bit like Overwatch with the pace of Halo. Seems fairly polished but I think it's a bit too slow paced and I'm not sure if there is room for another new shooter IP limited to multiplayer. I'd probably give it a couple of months tops.

    Fantastic performance last night especially in the first half. Got the subs right once again. Penalty was a bit harsh but as soon as you lift your leg studs up then you risk drawing contact so it's a penalty based on that. One more big performance needed!

    I can't believe England got through after delivering possibility their worst ever performance at a major tournament even more dire than Iceland 2016. I didn't even celebrate because it felt more embarrassing than anything. Southgate lives to fight another day but if it carries on like this he and England will come badly unstuck. Foden needs to be dropped seriously - has never had a good game for England ever and it has a terrible knock-on effect to the midfield and forwards. Great to see Palmer and Toney make some sort of impact but we should've been 2-0 down by then and should've conceded the most humiliating goal ever from the halfway line but got lucky once again.

    In other words, 'we'll wait for the dust to settle before giving him a contract' Kick houses some of the biggest scumbags from scammers, public nuisances, convicted criminals, junkies and fraudsters so Doc is ideal for them. That platform pretty much picks up all the big names that have been banned on YouTube and Twitch and doesn't enforce what few safety terms they have in place. I agree if he does come back it'll have to be under a new persona and he'll probably just be himself as that Doc image is tainted and will be forever ridiculed.

    He's now been de-monetised by YouTube even though they were seemingly aware of the allegations when they offered him a partnership after he left Twitch. I bet Doc will return and when he does, he'll be streaming on Kick with the other degenerates. It's probably the only place left he can go.

    If you're on Steam then go to your library and mange your DLC to see what else in installed. It's all under COD HQ now and that alone takes up space. The Infinity Ward side of the franchise has proven that they can't manage their directory architecture properly with outlandish and needless size requirements and they've got into a catastrophic mess blending content and trying to manage excess like Warzone. Some people report 90gb and others have surpassed 300gb with the same content installed so I would even consider a fresh install and to manually wipe the directory to see what happens. I played Vanguard a couple of months back and it was a glorious 36gb with no additional bullshit. That's how it should be.

    We've got nothing to lose now and Southgate will probably get more credit if he starts taking some risks. It's painfully clear that the current system is completely unworkable and if he has to drop some big names then so be it cos it cannot continue. With Georgia comfortably beating Portugal and Austria beating Holland to win the group, England look the poorest team in it and they are already undeservedly through leaving us embarrassingly fortunate.

    Sounds like he's going on an extended break and will hope to come back hoping everything will be gone or forgotten and I expect this will happen because content creators are largely immune to consequences stemming from dreadful behaviours. He played the dumbfounded card for 4 years yet it's clear he knew why he was banned but I just don't get why Twitch settled and paid out with lots of NDA's if he did this. Looks really bad them but then again the site is a cesspool of scumbaggery.
