    Yeah, most gaming chairs are usually poorly designed from an ergonomic standpoint, needlessly over-engineered and stupidly expensive. Many tend to go out and blindly buy one just by its looks, brand or because their fayvorwit khantent creator has one (probably given to them along with a pile of cash) which is silly. All of my chairs have been office ones and they have all been comfy and not too expensive - £40-70 range. My mate paid £379.99 for his a few years back and I struggled to find one justification for it costing that much.

    Frank Lampard has to be on very thin ice at Chelsea - he's doing worse having spent £200m than what they were doing when the transfer embargo was in effect. Granted, they probably aren't his transfers but they should be doing a lot better. 2 weeks ago they were title contenders and now they sit just 3 points ahead of Arsenal who were seen as relegation candidates! There was no real pressure on Lampard last year because expectations were non-existent with the club's circumstances but now they are expected to challenge for the league especially as they've spent more than all other teams combined practically. Frank certainly ain't a big game manager and it's shown and a lot of those players are very mediocre.

    Tempted to pick up a VR headset sometime and the Oculus Rift S right now is going fairly cheap at £100 off. The only catch seems to be that support for the unit is being stopped as newer models like the Quest 2 are being prioritised. However, a further concern is that the device has a fucking Facebook account requirement to function apparently that is now being enforced. I quit that platform many years ago and have no desire to return especially just to run a piece of electronic equipment. At this rate you'll need to be online to use your toilet and do a shit soon the way technology is going. I just want to use a device and not have any commercial crap attached. Anyone got any experience with the Oculus headsets and any more information about this? Index is too expensive, Vive is also pricey and the mixed reality HP ones are largely unavailable in the UK. Oculus ticks all the boxes aside from the Facebook requirement. I've also heard whispers people getting locked out of their devices because of separate issues with their Facebook accounts and also investigations in Germany about the legality of such things. I may have to give it a miss because of all this added bullshit. Don't want the headache.

    £1500 is a decent budget - a rig with a 3070 would be a fantastic entry point and it'll already get you ahead of the PS5 for the entire generation. This could handle 1440p like butter and would be great for 4K gaming for years to come. Trouble is you'd probably need another £500 on the side for peripherals and a monitor. If you aim to spend £1000 on the device and £500 on the side, you'll probably restrict yourself to 2K gaming and then have a pricey upgrade route going forward if you wish. It will be perfectly satisfactory though and still offer a great gaming experience but for just a few hundred more, you could literally put yourself in the high-end gaming bracket and get the best out of what is technically possible. It's a great time right now to be getting a new PC and there are some excellent pre-built devices available in the UK at exceptional prices. 2K would offer the best value and see you comfortable for many years and with a 3070, you'd get all the extra visual effects. 4K would be more demanding as time wears on but right now, a card like that should be comfortable at maxing out games at 60fps.

    I think Valve gave it away for free around 2014 but even before then, it was already a very established game with a strong playerbase and excellent mod support thanks to the Source engine. Back 4 Blood is running on Unreal and is being published by Warner Bros which alone rings alarm bells. I think the game does look pretty good but those devs have a lot to prove not being carried by Valve and the price really needs some justifying else it'll be dead after a month. Left 4 Dead 3 under Source 2 would've be bloody ideal and it beggars belief how Valve cannot count to the magic number!

    I can't believe the price is £49.99 up to £90 for the ultimate edition - I can honestly see this go the same way Evolve because of this alone. A group of friends aren't going to collectively spend £200 for a game like this really. Left 4 Dead's main attraction, other than being on a good engine with excellent support, was largely the price - although it really flourished years down the line and in the sales; £15/$20 was an ideal pricepoint. It's not like this game is licensed either so there really is no excuse to charge AAA pricing.

    A lot of these users are players who are testing out their cheat software/hardware on dud accounts. I remember Black Ops 4 having some big problems in a free weekend period due to the influx of these clowns on both console and PC. Most are just trash trial players but anyone that dominates with ease should be viewed slightly suspiciously just in case they are testing the water.

    Yeah it's been an insane turnaround - seem to have gone from 15th to the top 4 in no time but also when everyone else was getting results too so it just seems crazy! Can't see Arsenal doing that though😎
