Italy deservedly win on penalties. Game management disaster from Southgate when it truly mattered most and a pathetic showing on penalties from the subs especially Rashford and Sancho - it should be a default miss if you stutter your run up like that. Another cup final failure from Kane who spent the whole game jogging chasing the ball aimlessly. Subs should’ve been brought on much sooner especially when Italy began to relax in ET. Would’ve given them a feel for the ball too. We started well but it soon went into Croatia 2.0 and instead of doing something about it, we absorbed so much for literally 60 minutes and we’re lucky to take it as far as we did. Great tournament but another disappointment and we allowed it to happen.

They've gone against science every single time for the key decisions and have failed each time and they are doing it again here. I think they've just given up and more and more people are cutting corners. There was no way there were 60,000 at Wembley the other night - I'd estimate 75,000 and there wasn't a mask in sight anywhere in the vicinity around Wembley for instance. There is no many grey area and contradictory decisions being made with isolation requirements and quarantine that it's beyond confusing. What seems to be concrete is you can't go nightclubbing with a 30 people limit even if everyone passes a test but you can go to watch football whereby executives in suits are magically exempt from local restrictions because of blackmail essentially. Israel are already reporting weakening protection of Pfizer and they aren't dealing with developing strains like we are. What will probably happen is Covid will be in such high circulation, a greater strain will break the current vaccines and we'll be back to square one. Japan have already banned crowds for the Olympics at the 11th hour and their country is far more disciplined than in the UK and most of Europe. The complacency is unreal really and I'm taking no chances.

Last night was tense but we made it! Started off well for the first 15 but then Denmark really pressed and began to dominate in midfield. They deservedly took the lead but luckily we managed to get back into the game after getting behind them a couple of times out of nothing. We got a good foothold on the game after the break but couldn't quite carve out anything. I was a bit surprised that we didn't make many changes especially with Phillips and Sterling looking shattered however Denmark looked collectively exhausted so we left these key players on and it paid off. Penalty looked soft but one angle only shown once actually showed him clearly clipped from behind so it likely was a pen. Kane was fortunate on the rebound though and it was the worst penalty he's ever taken no doubt! Sunday will be very tough especially as they've had an extra days rest but they are beatable. We'll need to score first and do more in front of goal than what Spain did. I would start Sancho over Saka for the only change.

Italy got absolutely outplayed last night but still progressed to the final! Spain really stepped it up and looked almost 2012-like with a vintage performance but they couldn't find that second goal after doing very well to get back into the game. Morata went from hero to villain and everyone pretty much knew he was gonna miss the penalty! Italy certainly aren't as strong or dominant that many feared but they still look incredibly hard to break down. Whoever gets through to the final must score first really.

I've heard good stuff about this game - it's basically like Rainbow 6, SWAT with an Arma feel plus it has co-op and PVP. It's currently in early access but the developers are making good progress apparently and so far it's been very smooth sailing. The PS5 interface ins't much better either. It's probably not too bad for Sony standards considering how clunky, outdated and unresponsive the PS4 one was but it's nuts how companies like this cannot get it right.

Microsoft have really struggled with their UI since the Xbox One - they seem to like bloat rather than simplicity and functionality. I don't know why companies keep things simple than trying to convince their users they have some sort of state of the art supercomputer with limitless functions. 360 was clean, simple and very user friendly. The Series X doesn't seem as bad as the vanilla XB1 though but I can't believe Microsoft struggle so much with this aspect as evidenced by the Windows Store also.

It's a very strange and cheap appointment however it could work to a degree but I wouldn't expect any significant success anytime soon. According to my friend at BT, it was a rather convenient and knee-jerk appointment and they were not willing to let it go into July which ruled out Martinez. Tottenham's shortlist choices and the available managers was absolutely diabolical though and I sense desperation which likely rubbed-off on a few front runner choices. It doesn't appear there will be significant resources either and with Kane likely to depart, it's a task right from the off.

It really is amazing what filth like this can get away with in the internet world.

Been playing the Extraction Point expansion last couple of days and just finished it in slightly over 4 hours which is about half the length of the main game. It was an absolutely amazing experience and way more tense and terrifying than the base game. The levels were more varied too and there's even a subway one with echoes to the original Max Payne. These days were usually getting shitty DLC consisting of bonus missions and crappy cosmetics to extort more money from the user at launch. Back then there were proper post-release content made from the ground p to compliment the base game and Extraction Point is no exception as an excellent addition. I will try the final Perseus Mandate in the next few days to round off the whole package.

I think they are making or intending to produce a new Dragon Age and Mass Effect game but the problem seems to be the shit show at the studio as every week a key member leaves and each month a senior manager departs. I don't know how they expect to produce anything with such upheaval and with such a high turnaround of staff. I can't see BioWare ever reaching the heights they once held or even making a good game again. BioWare by name but not by nature really and it's pretty crazy they still exist.

No sign of Dragon Age 4 anytime soon and people are pissed especially when they were indicating it was in development a year and a half ago. To soften the blow, they've released some concept art which is a waste of time. The fact we're not even getting an in-game teaser or any information related to the story suggests this game doesn't exist just like Elder Scrolls 6. I hope this isn't a new trend where developers of long-term projects start announcing games that don't even exist or aren't being developed. We have to wait long enough as it is for games like. This week we already heard Elder Scrolls VI 3 years after its announcement is still in the design phase so we wont see that until 2026 and now DA4 which has been mooted since 2019 from official sources may still be 3-4 years away.

4-0! What a second half display and getting that second goal so early really helped! So dominated and composed plus we had no issues with yellows. Very comfortable evening in the end and a brilliant performance overall. Roll on the semi final against Denmark!

Great start by England going in 1-0 at the break but some nervy moments. Kyle Walker has been caught out 3 times and is struggling with positioning and working with the designated right wing player at that momement. We are looking comfortable on the ball but I wish we used possession a bit more effectively. Need that second goal badly and don't want a repeat of Croatia. Ukraine have it in them to easily grab a goal out of nothing. Phillips is awfully quiet today and Luke Shaw needs to remember he has a right foot. Sancho has impressed.
